Rhun quirked an eyebrow, "I wasn't wandering. Maybe you shouldn't have been trying to sneak a peek at me." he retorted back, then he chuckled a little. "So you really do have a sense of humor under all that gloom." he smiled, not wanting to insinuate anything past that. It was something about Kreios' apathetic attitude that made Rhun feel more relaxed about it. Maybe since he really didn't have to hide as much. Everything was already on the table, so why fret over things they both already knew. He took a deep breath, his face seemed to have softened.
A name. He thought about it. Well, he already knew who he was and he hoped to take up his birth name once more when he could finally prove himself to everyone that he wasn't the killer everyone claimed he was. Until then he had to be Rhun. But what did he want Kreios to call him?
"In personal situations, I'd prefer my birth name. Rasiel Broken." the corner of his mouth lifted slightly, as he understood that Kreios would keep the charade when necessary, but between the two of them, that wasn't who he really was. No mask could hide that. And he most definitely could not hide behind the mask forever. Eventually he'd have to be Rasiel again.
"Do you want to stay in the same house you slept in last night? Most of the houses are the same. The only difference being number of bedrooms. The one you were in is a one bedroom, but if you have other family members, I can move you to a bigger home." he offered, explaining how the housing worked.

"The gate was left unlocked, it seemed like a clear invitation to come in." He stated simply, tone not indicating any sort of discontent - he was simply stating a fact. "Gloom is not the word I would use." Though, he didn't particularly have a word he would use... Gloom just seemed to indicate sadness - and he was not sad. He was rather... content with the way things were, all things said and done.
"Rasiel it is." He nodded, then tilted his head in thought... it was probably best that he stay in the same house, since he'd used it for his Sight. "The same house is fine. The cards are already used to it, now." Family... no, he hadn't had family in many years, now. "I do not have any family, that won't be an issue."

Rhun quirked an eyebrow again, that was not what he meant. He sighed and let it go. He was so matter of fact, it didn't seem like he was interested in joking around about what happened. "Not gloom. Bluntness? I was trying to make a joke, you know..." he seemed concerned now, he was not sure this Meta understood what a joke was. Had this guy ever laughed in his life? A very interesting question he thought about.
He nodded as he said his name, yes, that felt right. It was better this way since Kreios didn't seem to care what weight his name carried around here. He was just glad he understood the basic situation even though he supposedly didn't care to know the details.
"Alright, the same house it is." he replied, turning to look at Kreios as they were very close to the house in question. He reached into his pocket and fiddled with a few different keys before pulling out the correct key and handed it over. "This is the key to the house."
It was quiet for a moment, as he thought for a moment. Placing a hand against his chin, eyes to the ground as if showing visibly that he was thinking about something. He nodded as if to settle on something in his mind.
Rhun began to smile, trying to hold back a grin like he was up to no good. "Hey Kreios? What do you call dangerous precipitation?" he was already snickering, his face twisting with delight as he tried to keep composure.
"A rain of terror." he couldn't help but bust into laughter at this own corny joke, tears were starting to form in his eyes, he was laughing so hard. He looked to Kreios, almost double over in pain as he trying to gauge his reaction to the joke through his own amusement.

A joke.. he blinked, frowning. His tone hadn't... he shook his head internally, brushing it off. It didn't matter, he wasn't really a joking story anyhow, so he likely wouldn't have had the reaction Rasiel wanted even if he'd picked up on it. He held a hand out, taking the key from him... He then stuffed it into his pocket and watched him as he took on a thoughtful pose...
Shouldn't he be used to this by now? Or were there really not that many people here? He blinked, narrowing his eyes at the question... Dangerous precipitation... A monsoon, he assu--....
Immediately his already blank expression deadpanned into one of mild annoyance. Really. He really said that. "You know, the sort of person who makes jokes when they are uncomfortable typically has many insecurities. You should consider speaking to someone about that." He knew exactly how he was meant to respond to that, but decided to do the opposite. He would not play along with that stupid game.
"Also, "frightening" precipitation would suit your joke better. Terror and danger do not necessarily align with one another." Ah yes, if he deconstructed the joke he might discourage him from making future terrible puns.

Rhun paused, the words sinking in as Kreios had claimed he might be insecure. It cut deep because it was in part true. He was very insecure about a lot of things. This guy seemed to subconsciously know exactly where to jab to get the best effect. Just like Deskri.
He frowned slightly, darting his eyes to the ground, obviously hurt by the comment. He was silent as Kreios offered a better answer to the question, defeating the purpose of the joke entirely.
"You know.. I'm not insecure..." he muttered, keeping his eyes averted. "It's just... really hard to explain puns, you know.." he stiffened slightly, as if hold back something. "..to kleptomaniacs..."
Rhun was already fighting back a chuckle, his words difficult to force out through stifled laughter, "because they always take things literally." He erupted into an even harder laughter than before. This time, more out of his own amusement than with the purpose of making Kreios laugh. In fact, he couldn't remember a time that he laughed this hard in his life. He probably hadn't. He almost didn't care if Kreios didn't get the joke or deconstructed it like before, he was legitimately having fun with it now. Something he hadn't allowed himself to do in forever. Almost forgetting the looming darkness that constantly plagued his life. He held his stomach, ready to fall over as he practically snorted from laughing so hard.

Not insecure... Honestly. He couldn't resist a snort at that statement. If he wasn't, why hide behind the mask? Why behave the way he had the night before? He narrowed his eyes, watching his body language... was he angry? That wasn't something he had necessarily expect---............
Honestly. What was with this guy? He just stared at him, completely deadpan, not really sure how to react to what was going on. He looked as if he might fall over... that wasn't even a particularly funny joke. Eventually he sighed, a world-weary sigh that might sound irritated if one looked into it too much... Well, since he was happy to amuse himself with stupid jokes, he decided to continue walking to his new home, tail swaying in a slightly annoyed fashion.
"I will continue onward, then, since you seem to be preoccupied."

Rhun wiped a tear from his eye, "W-wait.. I'm sorry! I couldn't help myself.." he admitted as he began to walk after Kreios. "You just seem so tense.. I thought I could help lighten the mood a little." he explained, lowering his head, smile still on his face. He felt bad about making Kreios annoyed but he also didn't regret making jokes as at least he himself got a kick out of them. Kira used to laugh at his jokes all the time, something he truly missed.
"So, why exactly did you decide to stay?" he asked, remembering how he had seemed unsure on whether he'd stay or not, almost leaning towards not. The curiosity bugged him as he wanted to know more about what he saw. These cards he spoke of. Most of the Metas he knew were either sound or light and dark based Metas. He'd never seen one that had some kind of mind's eye type of thing going on. Well, Mirabelle was the only one that came close, but even then it was much different.
He was done with the jokes for now, maybe he could find someone later who wasn't so blunted in his affect that could truly appreciate his comedy gold.

"I am not tense." He shook his head, "this is just how I talk." Kreios figured he could spare a little more elaboration... He'd just been raised to be quiet, observant... not one hair out of line. Once he reached the steps to the porch of his new home, he turned to face Rasiel, indigo eyes locked on his red ones as if he were attempting to see inside of him for a few moments before he finally blinked.
"As I said earlier, it has been ordained that I stay. I asked the cards, they gave me their answer. I am needed here, or will be." He figured that he could leave it at that - elaborating on the vague visions of the future rarely went well, especially since it had a knack for changing. "When they tell me I am no longer needed, I will probably leave. But for now, here I am."

Rhun tried not to snort about Kreios denying being tense. He really didn't understand these types of things, did he? But he guessed that was okay. He wasn't like anyone he had ever met. Someone so devoid of outward emotions, it was almost refreshing though slightly irritating. He closed his eyes and sighed as they made their way to the porch of the house, this place yet again. At least it was different this time.
Rhun nodded, understanding Kreios' explanation and accepting it for what it was. He didn't think to pry further into what the future held. It was something he wasn't used to doing as he was always haunted by his past that constantly obscured his view for what was to come. He let it go, it wasn't worth thinking to hard on all of it.
Probably leave. Rhun began to wonder what Kreios had actually meant by being present there. Was it because of danger? Or some fulfillment of some minor issue. Whatever it was, Kreios was apparently focused in on that one thing and didn't give himself room to think or feel about anything else.
"Well, I guess... this is goodbye again..." he spoke softly, his eyes locked on the incubus'. He was deciding if he should say anything else, or whether he should just leave. Probably leave. He couldn't come up with anything else to say. And if he made another joke, Kreios would surely slam the door in his face, so he definitely decided against that.

Well, he seemed to accept his explanation. That was a good thing in his eyes... He didn't think that Rasiel was the sort of person to like hearing about impending doom - then again, most people weren't. He seemed reluctant to leave, or perhaps like he wanted to stay but had no reason to.
"The girl." He started, for the first time actually asking a question of his own since his arrival that had nothing to do with himself.... "What is her power?" Was he being too vague? He wasn't sure.

Rhun perked up as Kreios spoke, The girl. He seemed confused for a second but then the question came, Her power. Rhun understood then what he meant and began to think back on his memories of her in search of an answer.
"Delilah, her item is.. Pandora's Box." he started it, "So her powers are based on the evils of the world just like in the legends, I guess. Envy, sickness, hate, disease. She is a very sick Meta and also uses that illness to infect others. She keeps her powers in control though, so there's not much to worry about. But I don't recommend spending a whole lot of time around her, her passive ability essentially poisons any living thing around her the longer it stays close... as you can see..." he motioned to the grounds of the sanctuary as if to say that she was the cause of it's condition.
"She prefers solitude anyway, so it's really not a good idea to get attached to her." he insisted, despite the hypocrisy in his warning. Rhun wondered why Kreios had such an interest in Delilah, his mind moving to only one thing as he smiled lightly and shook his head.
"She's not dangerous. Just guarded." he added as the last bit of information he'd provide on her. He felt it wasn't exactly important to explain her hope ability as it didn't seem like that's what he was looking for, even so, she never used that ability anyway, it seemed she might have always been saving it for a special occasion or just hoarding it for herself, he never dared to question it.

Pandora's Box... He nodded, understanding his explanation well enough. That explained why he had felt a presence in the building when he'd entered, but not while he was outside. "I see. I will keep that in mind." If that was the case, then she was not the danger that he had sensed being imminent... He would need to search the future for more information.
Rasiel seemed interested in why he wanted to know, but... No, he wouldn't divulge that particular bit of information just yet. He would come to know in time. They all would. "What is the current population of this sanctuary?" Another question that was important to know... if it had already arrived, he might as well see if he could find it within the residents.

All of a sudden, the incubus was book of questions, talking more than he had before. Maybe he was opening up, or probably just thought him reliable enough to answer such questions.
"The.. population?.." he thought for a moment as though mentally counting.
Delilah, Melody, Leukos, Deskri, Mirabelle, Aiden, Xeizii.
"Not including us, There are five adults, and two children. So not many, but it won't be long before more show up. I already know of two more probably on the way, though I'm not sure exactly when." he answered. Why was he asking? Was he shy for people? Or maybe it was out of protection? His thoughts weren't coming to good conclusions as he shifted lightly.

He nodded, considering... Five people wasn't a lot, two more were on the way? Had the danger already arrived, or was it coming? There were still too many questions - too many unknowns... He could tell that he was making Rasiel uncomfortable with them... "I see." Did he want to elaborate...? Did he care to? It would probably put him at more unease, though the unease would not be directed at him.
"I was merely curious if the silence around here was normal." He shrugged, lying easily. "The other adults live in this complex?" If he could see them, learn a few things about them, then he could ask the cards for more clarity...

Silence? He supposed that was a pretty good reason for asking. "It used to be pretty lively around here. The sanctuary hasn't been open long.. most of the Metas that are here now are... quiet. But I doubt the silence will stay once others arrive." he shuddered thinking about the arrival of Andy. She was loud and obnoxious, she always had been. Even Kira had calmed down after growing into an adult, but it seemed Andy would never outgrow that trait of hers. Kreios had asked if the other adults lived in the complex. He nodded. "There are three houses in the complex occupied besides your own. Delilah and her.. boyfriend?.. live in a house together." he obviously wasn't sure of their relationship so it was an assumption at best. "Then there's the twins. They live in separate houses." he decided against divulging about Deskri living with him. He was still slightly apprehensive about incubi in that it might make Deskri uncomfortable to be telling strangers where he was. He'd probably discuss it with him later.
"The two children live in the dorms together." he added, just to make sure it was known in case that might be important information for Kreios.
