Beringia didn't know how Sedna...Olga had come into his powered life now and was trying his hardest not to feel the dread of his freedom of life slipping away by each thing you joined.
His freedom mostly was snaked away the minute he sat down. And while he enjoyed the princess getting married, and supporting her as a knight, he wasn't sure he liked it with Sedna whispering like a voodoo gypsy next to him.
Continuously through the night, he attempted to brush her hand off, but she kept latching on. Eventually when food was brought and the reception was happening, he found a small opening.
"Vill let go, Sedna..." He pushed her hand off again as she called over a friend of hers.

"The walk here was a bit hard, but inside isn't too bad. My wonder has a more Mediterranean climate, so I'm not really used to being somewhere this cold." She answered honestly. Hyperborea had three suns so it was always warm and bright there. Even Destiny City usually wasn't that cold.
"But if you're offering I would love to see your wonder." She said with a smile, she always enjoyed visiting other wonders and planets.
"Oh, yes. If you're interested I'd be more than happy to tell you about my city." She said blushing a bit. She loved gushing over Hyperborea, it was her pride and joy.

When the message had come, Phact had ignored it. A wedding invitation to the union of two people she had never met? It would have been rude! It would have been unheard of to crash such an event. Surely she had gotten this by mistake?!
But the more she sat gazing at the invitation, the more the senshi of doves had come to realize maybe...just maybe she should go. Even without knowing a person there, she could at least offer her own congratulations. Love, and such a strong one, was a gift in this war.
Phact had not been disappointed.
As she followed behind the other guests, her package wrapped nearly in white and lace tucked under her arms, covered in a white fur cloak, the senshi who had only ever visited the wonders of the moon kingdom was in awe.
Polaris was beautiful. Her knight adored her greatly and it warmed the senshi's heart. But secretly, she was more amazed by the world in which she stood on. A world...a home world...
It was as beautiful as its Princess. Ice and snow. A winter painting almost. How she would have loved to looked it over...
How it made her wonder about her own world. A world she had avoided seeking out.
Now standing to the back, waiting for others who spoke to the bride and groom, Phact wished she had insisted on bringing someone else with her instead of coming alone. Going stag was always hard...

Poor Niflhel. While the excitement and general girlish delight of the day was still feeding Polaris with adreneline and the will to stay very very awake, it was clear her new husband was feeling quite a bit wearier even despite his valiant attempts to not look it. Beneath the table one of her legs had legs had stretched a little so that her foot and ankle could rest alongside his, a simple and silent affection of comfort. She'd been about ready to suggest them getting some food when he suddenly leaned and whispered, her eyes following his to Lacrimosa.
She seemed familiar, though not someone she'd seen in awhile, and Polaris was having a hard time placing the exact name. Casting one more glance and smile to the two knights, she finally motioned towards the senshi.
"Was it... cherry blossoms?" She asked, using both visual clues and tidbits of memory that she could dig up. "I feel like it's been a very long time. Thank you so much for coming!"Fooooood. The variety and quality of it much more than the cheap a** knight usually had the pleasure of enjoying. Maybe he'd find a way to crash more weddings in the future, it was certainly nicer than general party munchies.
He had spotted Hyperborea, but she was facing the other direction so he couldn't wave to her. And before he had a chance to go and actually bug her the sound of his name caught his attention, pivoting to find the source.
The wildly waving hand had to be the source but the figure wasn't even remotely familiar. A senshi... that looked kind of a like a boat captain? He certainly didn't remember her but... uhh.. more friends the better! Strolling in that direction instead he grinned widely at the unfamiliar senshi and knight. "Hey, uhh.. mysterious strangers?" Despite using the word he hardly seemed put off by the fact.
His own plate (which had mostly been easily portable stuff anyway) was extended as an afterthought - it wasn't like he could just refill it if they took some. "Enjoying the festivities?"A wedding really wasn't a place for a tiny child on their own. But she HAD gotten a message. One that promised not only a princess and knight but pretty dresses and general other fairytale magicness that had been too much for the Disney loving child to pass up on. So Florentina had made her way to the platform and snuck her way up to the event, unfortunately without preparing properly.
Chibi Florentina, the tiny senshi of lilies shivered and wiggled as she arrived into the welcoming heat of the reception area, trying to get the bits of snow off her shoes. And then finally she began to wander, eyes wide and full of wonder as she stared at the pretty crystal trees on the table, and fountains of chocolate. She'd been on her way to stare at a cake that was easily twice or three times her size when she accidentally bumped into the back of Phact.
"Ohhh, I'm so sorry." She piped up immediatly, looking halfway to tears even though the other woman was the one that had been hit and potentially hurt. Sirene Naiads Have a chibi to help you kill the time until your turn biggrin

She would have been fine waiting, honest. And actually the longer she stood there the more nervous she got about speaking with them now that she knew who they were. Things had been kind of severed in a not so neat way and she'd always felt a little guilty about it. She'd never wanted to hurt Azzo but things had just gotten so overwhelming and unsure and- And Polaris was speaking to her. Brown eyes blinked a moment, coming back from her rambling train of thoughts and she had the decency to look a little embarrassed as if the princess had noticed that she might have kind of zoned out for a moment there. Sucking in a small breath she moved a little closer to the happy (though probably exhausted) pair. "Lacrimosa, yes," she replied a bit dumbly, as if her senshi name clearly meant cherry blossoms. Why did she suddenly have to be so unsure about all of this. "It has been a long time, I um. Needed a break I guess you could say." Fingers toyed with the sleeve of her fuku a moment. "I don't want to keep you, I'm sure there will be a growing line all just to pay respects and what not. I just wanted to come say hello and congratulations, Aurora and Azzo. You both looked so lovely up there during the ceremony." Iris_virus sorry she'd lost some of her nerve and is now nervous. oops. LP she's super happy for you both thou honest

Niflhel's eyes shifted up towards Polaris and the girls when cherry blossoms was mentioned and then Lacrimosa pipped up. His hand was rested on Polaris' leg when she'd leaned against his own.
However there was a small twitch as he was trying to dig into his memory as to who this was. He wavered at the fact she knew who they were, not that it wasn't silly to think about that since Polaris added a picture album. Did they know who she was, she seemed vaguely familiar but that's about all he could remember. It'd been so long. . .
"So, if you don't mind me asking . . . Do, we know each other as civilians?" He said waving his free hand to notion all three of them. . .

The Senshi of Doves stumbled forward a few paces as she felt pressure on the back of her knees. When she was able to catch her balance, Phact turned back around to gaze back and then down at the little chibi that had appeared behind her.
Her heart sank.
"Oh sweety." Phact said, slipping quickly into a carrying mode, completely forgetting her panic about being a wedding crasher as she slipped the package she carried onto a table near her position and came closer to the child. Kneeling down, her hands came out from her cloak and reached out to touch the shoulders of the little girl. "It's alright. It was an accident. Are you alright?"

Beringia suggested letting go, and was pulling away again, and Sedna immediately latched back onto his sleeve, complete with the appropriate look. She turned her head back towards Bimini, her brows knitting. "Stranger---oh!" Her eyes widened. "Oh! No! It's me, Olga!" She then gave him a fox eyed grinned at the Cosmos knight, and flashed him a peace sign with her free hand. "I'm magical now, too---Ah!" She lightly tugged on Beringia's sleeve. "This is Bimini---he's a knight of Cosmos, and one of the first to tell me in earnest all about the magical stuff---Bimini, this is my friend, Beringia! He's a knight of Polaris---obviously!" Since the other was offering, Sedna reached out and took some food off the tray. "Thanks! It's so good to see you, again! Do you know Princess Polaris, too?"

"It happens." Polaris offered in an attempt to soothe the nervous senshi. "I actually just came back from a kind of long break myself because of some family stuff."
Henshi magic was a funny thing. If it were Melody standing in front of them, even after all these years and the changes that came with age she would have recognized her immediately. And as soon as she mentioned who she was it would be terribly obvious as well, but that funny magic... Polaris was carefully digging through her memory trying to remember the interactions she'd had with Lacrimosa in the past.
Luckily Niflhel had already asked the question that she was too self concious to ask herself, her expression curious.Olga? From the arcade?
It really shouldn't have been that hard to believe, the excitable and bubbly personality quite a dead giveaway. But seriously! Olga as a senshi!? As the pieces clicked he looked her over approvingly. In his opinion senshi were WAY cooler and stronger than knights. And now maybe that meant she'd be able to take care of herself considering how often she seemed to get herself into stuff. "Holy crap!! Well isn't that a lucky twist of fate?" He laughed.
"Looking good," he piped up, quickly and easily mirroring her enthusiasm. "What's your name and what are you the senshi of?"
His gaze turned towards the knight he was being introduced to, free hand extending in an attempt for some sort of greeting (be it fist bump, fancy hand slaps, or a regular old overly enthusiastic hand shake).
When Olga asked about knowing the princess his smile grew big and mischevious, the volume of his voice dropping like it was a secret. "I've seen her around once or twice but never met her. I think I might have met Niflhel once or twice. But I'm mostly crashing."
"A free meal is a free meal, gotta save them dollars." He joked to Olga, who he recalled was a kindred spirit in scrounging up money and surviving in big ol' Destiny City.Luycal Olga quit trying to get Bimini in trouble! D8 First telling you about senshi stuff and then being a total mooch crasher, I doubt Beringia will be impressed. XD
"I should have been paying more attention to where I was walking...." Her fingers were patting at the pedals of her skirt. "But the cake is just so big and pretty...."
Hands leaving her skirt one tiny hand extended outwards. "I'm Florentina by the way. Thank you for not being mad!"

Beringia was totally not impressed.
So much that when he took Bimini's hand, it was a brief and short handshake.
Otherwise, the knight crossed his arms and pouted in the sort of 'glaring' at everyone. Mostly loathing at Sedna.
And her iron grip.

Azzo might have met Lacrimosa a time or two? Maybe? It was hard to remember, but as Niflhel he'd never known her. She was almost saddened by that fact. She would have been so happy for him. "I'll admit I didn't think I was going to come back to it at all? But I guess you can't just leave it behind even when you're okay with that idea." A small laugh, though it held a small amount of nervousness. Probably because she couldn't just ignore Azzo's question much longer. Not that she wanted to but it was hard... to reconnect after so long. "Um, we did. But I kind of stopped contact?" Another nervous tug of her sleeves before she sucked in a breath and smiled brightly. "And I'm so sorry about that pup. I just needed to sort my life out? There was too much going on." That wasn't answering his question, really. "It's Melody." LP I think she was the only one who called him pup? but just in case, awkward name drop is go

Sedna just beamed, because even if Beringia wasn't impressed (and really that was the norm...Beringia wouldn't even be impressed if a waterfall froze instantly in front of him from his icy glare) at least he was making connections. Kinda. Sorta. The senshi grinned. "I'm Sedna! Senshi of ships!" She flashed him a thumbs up, and then laughed, surprised. "Oh---well then---" She laughed some more. "Hey, as long as you go say congratulations at some point, yeah? Also, bet you should stuff a lot of food to go in those robes of yours." She winked at him, because she understood the struggle as well, and was admittedly excited about the free food. But after saying congratulations. Of course. "Oh, speaking of---" Sedna waved at Bimini. "I'll be back, yeah!? I need to go say congratulations to Polaris!" And by 'I' she meant herself and Beringia, whose sleeve she still had, and probably would have for the rest of the event. "Bee are bee!" She grinned at him, and looked to the grumpy Polaris page, tugging on his sleeve lightly. "To the princess, yeah?" She smiled, and moved, tugging him along and bobbing and weaving around other guests. She had little to no tact as she approached Princess Polaris, her husband, and the other senshi they were speaking to, and inserted herself, and by default, Beringia, into the small group. "Hello!" She raised a hand in greeting, and shot a fox eye grin at Polaris and Niflhel. "Congratulations!" Sedna immediately gushed. "I'm so happy and excited for you both, and the ceremony was lovely, and you look so beautiful, Polaris---and I've heard so much about you---I'm shipping you both so hard---but I heard about you---" This was directed at Niflhel. "From Polaris, and she told me about how you were a real courageous spirit and fighter even before you became a knight and I found it really inspiring and---oh my gosh---" She got derailed to reach out and touch Lacrimosa's sleeves. Niflhel watched Polaris and then Lacrimosa, as they spoke. He nodded, "Some time's coming back to something you're not sure about is difficult." He said softly and shrugged slightly, "Though it's always nice to know there's another senshi back on the beat."
He paused when Lacrimosa continued, the way she was speaking. He was doing his best not to twitch when she called him pup. There were only two people that called him that . . . Though before he could reply to Melody, Sedna showed up.
She was speaking and he sighed softly and took up the glass of wine he had and whispered to Polaris, "I'm not drunk enough for this right now. . . " He muttered before composing himself again with his eyes slightly closed.
Melody had left him in a bad place, though had it not been for that where would he and Polaris been? His eyes shifted between the girls as Sedna complimented Lacrimosa's sleeves. Though his feelings had long been disbanded, honestly he'd thought he'd never see or speak to her again. Though he realized he couldn't be lost in thought for too long because Sedna's talking had ended. "Nice to meet you Sedna . . ."
He paused then directing his attention, "I hope you've gotten things straightened out. It's nice to see you again, Lacrimosa." The was a faint smile as he spoke trying not to let tiredness slip though. However, since Sedna had came up he didn't want to use Mel's real name.
There was another pause, before he directed his attention back to Sedna - "Sooo~ before you were distracted you said you heard about me did you?" He chuckled, "What sort of things has Polaris told you?"

Grus had been waiting for this!
When she'd gotten the invitation, her heart soared. No one deserved happiness more than Polaris! And she was always rather fond of Niflhel. After all, he was the first powered person she encountered. He gave her tips, and made her feel better about the whole situation. So the two of them together what just...fantastic!
She arrived on Polaris with a large group of guests. Her fuku was covered to the waist with the biggest,puffiest coat she could find in her closet. She'd taken her hairstyle up a notch this time around, going with sparkly hairbands to hold up the buns instead of her usual black. But the rest of her outfit remained the same, down to the feathery red shoes around her ankles. She stumbled a bit in the snow, her legs already clumsy with cold. But the warmth of the reception hall wrapped around her like a blanket, and she quickly added her jacket to the growing tree of them. She looked around, recognizing a few people, but not others. The happy couple were at a table, and though she wanted to say hi, there was quite the crowd. So she decided to busy herself with placing her gift on the table (wrapped in red paper of course, and tied with a white bow with feathers stuck in the middle as a calling card. Polaris would know). Then she bee lined for the snacks, choosing the chocolate fondue fountain as her home base and piling a plate with dippable things.
