"Back when I was much younger, when I only had the rank of prentice among our sisters, I had my hair in braids. It was after I met one of our other sisters, one named Jerarda, that I ended up getting my hair done in dreadlocks." Jerarda had been kind enough to do his hair for him, something that he greatly appreciated since it helped him to truly become a part of the Alkidike tribe. At the question about flowers Rishima gave a thoughtful sound before nodding his head, "I am sure that such a thing could be done, perhaps braided into your hair or just as decorations on the ends." He'd never used flowers personally, but he was more then certain that it could be done. As someone approached him, using a weapon to threaten him, though Rishima didn't respond to it. Instead he gave Masika a smile and said, "Would you look at that? It seems as though we found your mother, and without even having to go looking. Truly Aisha has blessed us this day." No reason to freak out or else it was going to scare the little girl, though he was certain that the woman brandishing her weapons might still do that. Slowly turning to her he gave her a long look, before he smiling, "Who am I? It's kind of funny how often I am asked that question by my little sisters despite my service to our people." He said, giving a mock pout, before pushing to his feet. He set Masika down on her feet carefully, feeling that now that her mother had arrived that the girl would rather go to her then hang out with him any longer.

She grinned wide when the man told her that she could likely put flowers into her hair if it was braided. Masika liked the idea and would tell her daddy when she saw him again. Then all of a sudden there was a blade that came outta no where. It scared the little girl and she stared at it for a moment before the voice behind it made her look up with a gasp. "Muma!" She squealed. And all at once she was put down by the man and picked up by her mother. When she saw his face V'demhe relaxed and took her blade away from him before giving an apologetic smile. "Rishima, I'm sorry. I only saw you from behind." As she put her weapons away her daughter was set on her feet and she bent down to sweep the little thing up into a hug. "Masika! You have everyone worried, my precious water lily." Instantly Dem kissed the child's cheeks and nuzzled her only pausing in her affection to look at Rishi. "Thank you for finding her." And keeping her safe. The last part went unspoken but it was written all over her face. Masika clung to V'demhe even as she was showered with love; giggling. "Muma stop it." With a small break from the affection that her mother was showering on her she laid her head on the alkidike's shoulder and yawned. Though she didn't miss that her mum seemed to know the man that had helped her. "You know him Muma? He was really nice." Once she got over her initial fear.

Rishima squatted down to scoop up his pack, slinging it over his shoulder, picked up his weapon, and pushed to stand up right once more, "It's not a problem, sister, it was a mistake after all and your little one was involved. A such I can understand the desire." To be honest he was just happy that it hadn't errupted into a full blown fight as he wasn't really feeling it. Who really wanted to fight all the time after all? Definitely not him, especially when it came to his sisters. The battle in Sauti gave Rishima his fill of battling with those that he should be allied with. Giving the pair a glance he couldn't help but to smile, finding the sight of a pure blood Alkidike snuggling her mix blood child in such a manner to be... somehow comforting. It meant that perhaps things were getting better? One could hope at least he thought as he rested the butt of his spear on the ground, leaning into it slightly as he said, "You needn't thank you, sister. I over heard her when she was crying and it was only right that I saw to it that she was kept safe until we were able to find you or your mate again." No reason not to protect the little youngling after all. They were all his sisters after all. Giving a smile Rishima looked to Masika, "Do be careful to try not to get lost from now on, little sister." If she did get lost again he'd do his best to help her once more if he was in the area. Rishima knew the run in with little Masika would have him thinking about pleading with Aisha himself... though it was something he was a touch uncertain of given the age of his the one he was dating. He wasn't sure if he should foist such a thing upon someone Gerr's age after all. Still, it would give him something to think about for the future.

Dem shook her head at her child and smiled. "No, little flower, I don't know him but I do know who he is." Looking at the man she smiled, her words still being spoken to her daughter. "This is Rishima. He's very well known by the Alkidikes. Many of us honor him for all he's done. You could say he's... a hero." V'demhe looked back at her child to see her reaction. Masika listened to her mother's words then went wide eyed and slack jawed as she stared at the big man. "Wow. Really!? I was saved by a hero!?" The way she looked at Rishima now was something of a mix of amazement and awe. When she finally seemed to remember not to stare so hard she reached toward the shifter mix with one hand. "Rissime, I'm Masika." She managed to fuddle his name but her intent was the same. She wanted to introduce herself to someone her mother respected.

Rishima's cheeks darkened with a flushed, "Ahh... well, I don't know about that..." He murmured, quite embarrassed over being referred to as a 'hero' by his younger sister. That the little youngling seemed to get so excited over the title only caused his flush to deepen. He wasn't exactly a hero, he had just done his best to serve Aisha and his sisters where ever possible was all. It was nice to hear that there were those who thought of him in such a manner, but at the same time he wasn't sure if he felt that he quite deserved the title yet. He held a high rank in the tribe, but somehow 'hero' seemed like an even loftier title that was even harder to obtain somehow. Shaking off the blush he took the girl's hand in his, giving it a little shake, "It's nice to meet you, Masika." Even though the circumstances hadn't started out the best he felt that things had turned out well in the end. Especially since they were able to see to it that the girl was safely returned to her mother. That was what was the most important thing here. Looking at her mother he said, "It was nice to meet you as well." Even if the start of their meeting had involved a sword at his neck. It was something he could easily forgive given the circumstances.

She noticed his blush and just grinned at him. "Please Rishima, my elderly mother respects you and told me stories of you before bed every night." And she'd listened intently to each one. News of this made Masika blink rapidly. "Grandmuma knows him!?" The fact that her mother's mother knew Rishima lit up her face. Clearly it was only making her look at him with admiration more and more. "Muma! Muma!? Can I mate Rissime when I'm big enough!?" Masi practically bounced in her mum's arms. The idea of having someone like Rishima be the Rainy to her Dem was exciting. Of course she was biased, thinking of her parents' love story as the greatest one in history.

Rishima gave a bit of a laugh at the girl's question, "As flattered as I am, little sister, I think that my mate might be a little heartbroken if you tried to come steal me away when you get older." Poor Gerraden, he'd likely be sad just hearing that there was someone out there who wanted to try to become Rishima's mate. Something that he may or may not tell Gerraden about when he returned home since it was a cute little question from the youngling who probably didn't know what she was asking for. Surely she was too young yet to know about all that being someone's mate entailed. Instead she likely just thought it was hugs, kisses, and lotuses... though who knew? Maybe she was more knowledgeable then he guessed? Giving a smile he said, "I am sure that you will find someone wonderful to be your mate when you get older though." He wanted to reassure her that, despite him not being able to be her mate that there was surely someone better out there. As well as someone who was closer to her own age. The one that Rishi loved was already young enough as it was, Masika was far too young to even contemplate!

Dem all but choked when her daughter mentioned mating. There was a blank look on her face and she shook her head, a shaking that increased when Rishima said he was already taken. "No. He's taken already." Thank Aisha that Rishima hadn't let her entertain the idea. Hugging Masika close she smiled and bopped the child on the nose. "You have a while yet to go before you can think of that." Masika giggled and wrinkled her nose at her mother before grinning at Rishima. "Can we be friends then?" The little blue hybrid girl was intent on being something to this well known man. After all, if her mother was told bedtime stories of him then she wanted to know him personally. "You can visit us! Oh! And you can meet my sisa!" The little one was making plans for a tea party and everything as she rattled on and on.

Rishima gave Dem a smile, unable to help but to smile, finding her reaction to be rather cute. He supposed that was what came to having children, the fun of having to deal with very awkward conversations like that one. Still, the meeting did help to solidify his desire to one day have a child of his own to raise. It would have to wait a while longer, but one day soon, perhaps. His antennae twitched a bit in happiness over the thought before he turned his attnetion then to Masika. "Sure, we can most certainly be friends, little sister." He told her, giving her a smile. That was far more easily done, "Visit and meet your sister? Of course, I think it would be a fun way to spend the afternoon." Maybe he could bring Gerraden along? See what he did when youngligns were around? Figure out what he thought of them? It was something to think about at least. Giving the pair a bright smile Rishima said, "II should be on my way, before Gerr starts to think that I too got lost. I hope to see the two of you and the rest of your family soon."
