He watched the senshi move to strike Iudicael and he felt the rage bloom hot in his chest and with a pained bellow, leveled a kick at her gut, digging the toe of his boot hard into her stomach with a rage filled howl.
How dare she! HOW DARE SHE!
The ribs that had taken the impact from the fall burned and ached and he knew they were cracked. But he was not going to let her harm Iudicael. She would not harm his personal guardian angel oh hell no.
Not while he could breathe.
"Keep, your... filthy... ********... off... Iudicael!" He hissed, gritting his teeth to send another rage fueled kick into her gut.

Oh god, it hurt. She knew something had to be more than bruised by now, the pain filling her told her as much. Could she even manage to go on? She had no choice, she wasn't about to let him continue till she was what? Dead. No. She needed to get out of this. So the attack had been launched against the dog, her second use of it, and she hoped the bats would work as they manifested and launched their own attack on the dog.
One more use...she had a third use and that would e it but could she do it? Her mid section hurt so much and she was hunched forward as if to protect what was already damaged and hurting.
He was upset because she had attacked his youma. But what about her? he really didn't care about her - a living human. No, as good as he was taking out drug dealers he was evil - he was bad and wrong and so many other things. She couldn't think of anything else at the moment, her body wracked with pain and her mind fuzzing a bit around the edges. She flopped to the side and even from there she somehow managed to move her arms, with a sluggishness that was impossible to miss.
The whispered words passed her lips along with pained sounds. Her arms moved again and the bats came for the third, and last, time as she lay there hoping to get him to leave, to get the youma to let up. It hurt - she hurt. Would he leave? Would this do the trick and tire him out enough? he had to be hurting too - right?

Again with the God damn bats! With a rage filled howl he gave her one more sound kick to the ribs, then with a hiss, snarled. "Release!" Iudicael had been clamping down harder and harder on her leg, having gone into a full death grip as the bats had attacked it. Even as it groggily released her leg, it threatened to snap at her again, but Leucite hissed a single, pained. "No."
Hissing painfully, he crouched down, his fingers gathering the fabric of her bodice as he tried to lift her up against the pain of his ribs. Cussing he let it go, then moved, and grabbed her under the shoulders and dragged her, huffing and hissing with pain to the entrance of the alley way.
It was late and it was dark, so Leucite did his best to make sure she would be spotted, before moving away.
"We will meet again..." He growled.
"Next time fight with more conviction."
With that, he knelt next to Iudicael, and wrapping an arm over the youma, the two vanished.

The pain in her leg had at some point almost vanished, she knew that wasn't likely a good thing. She felt tired...and cold even though that could be her uniform as well as it did lack in coverage and layers. It wasn't a well suited outfit for the winter, something she wished she had more and more. When the youma let go she was surprised, she hadn't figure don it and the command that was the cause for it. She had been expecting the attack to continue, the teeth to sink as deep as possible and remain in her even as he tried to kill her, or did kill her.
Surprise flitted through her along with a pained cry but her arms still came up, weak and shaking, and latched on about his neck as if to assure she didn't fall from his hold. But it was also to help him keep a hold as he was obviously hurt as well. They had both damaged each other tonight.
For a moment she considered saying something mean, insulting him, but he hadn't killed her and she was thankful for that even as more tears fell from her eyes and formed a river down her cheeks all the way to her chin where the two rivers met. "Thank you...and I will. Next time - no help." One on one. She would get stronger, she now had to...so she could face him again.
But first...she needed to get home and recover. But how...she couldn't move her body and the very thought of moving made her hurt. She lay there, shaking, cold, and bleeding as she clung to consciousness and considered calling out for help but couldn't risk it against a civilian finding her. She could call someone...but who?
