"It's gonna hurt a lil'," he answered patiently. "But we got barriers, so no real damage'll get done. Plus, I might look like a big softie, but I promise ya, I'm a tough guy!" He slapped his chest with a grin. "Didn' get promoted fer nothin'!"

Melody cringed quite visibly as her main concern was confirmed as a very likely reality. She was not fond of pain. Downright didn't like the very idea of it really. Still she sighed, defeated, "I'm more worried about me."

She laughed sheepishly at how ridiculous she felt in this moment, "I'm fragile." It wasn't really true, but she hoped perhaps he'd go easier on her. She walked up to stand beside him, "Lead the way."
