User Image Miah was on cloud-nine by that point. She couldn't have possibly been any happier than she was in that exact instance. Everything had gone so mcuh better than she imagined. Dandelion was fantastic--quiet, potentially a little unsure of herself, and far from bubbly, but none of those were deal-breaking faults. In fact, they were all traits that rather endeared the young Imp to the demon, bringing a seemingly constant smile to Miah's lips.

"Thank you for even responding to me!" the imp said, seeming almost surprised at the other's words, as if it was blasphemous to even think that more people wouldn't have gone straight to the demon's profile.

Only then did the imp turn towards her drink, pulling the straw to her lips to take a long sip of the shake, giving a soft, appreciative hum afterwards. "Oh this is good,..."

User Image Dandelion cast a small smile as Miah complimented her drink, settling enough to raise her hand to her face and using it for support. She watched Miah, eyes slowly rolling to look out the window. This had gone far better than she thought it would have. She was sure, somewhere along the way, they'd disagree somewhere, but if this was truly the Imp she might be starting a family with then Dandelion was sure they could sort things out throughout time.

Suddenly, she felt a pull. This was right. She felt comfortable. Miah sounded content. She was rushing, she knew it. She wanted to get up, grab Miah's hand, and find stones. She had, for the longest time, wanted children, and now it was not only possible but also seemed... fun? As if they were about to embark on a wonderful adventure.

"Oh." Aha. She had almost forgotten. "I... wanted to send my children to the academy when they're of age. I would be happy if they went and came home each day, or if they stayed should they want to, but the academy means a lot to me. What are your thoughts?"

Had they truly only just met? Even as they sat, for a moment just soaking up the silence, it felt right. This demon felt like someone Miah could spent countless hours with, just sitting around doing nothing while their children played in the other room. There was no real air of awkwardness that one would expect between complete strangers.

In all honesty, Miah felt warm,... content. To the point that she was sighing softly, a smile curling on her lips once again as her eyes slid shut from contentment, up until the other began to speak, making her blink as she looked up towards the other.

"Oh, absolutely! The academy always did well by me. The friends I met there and the path they put me on was something I would never, ever want to change. Whether our children lived there though would be entirely up to them. I stayed with my foster mother all through school, personally, but I had a handful of friends that didn't live with family, and they all seemed to love living in the dorms. So without a doubt, it would be up to them. I would be content either way, so long as they're happy," she said with a nod and a smile.

User Image That was a relief, evident when she let out a soft and content sigh. That had been a huge issue for her. If Miah didn't like the academy she wasn't sure what she would have done... The academy was where she grew up. Her original home. Sometimes, she even volunteered to teach the children there how to make umbrella's (which none of them seemed to care for, sadly). She'd do anything for her future children to experience the same happiness she had. Even better, they would have parents to come home to if they wished. She wouldn't mind them staying at the academy (though she was sure she'd miss them dearly). Whatever was best for her kids was what Dandelion was interested in, in the end.

She seemed to have lost questions to ask for the moment. That, or she had taken a break. Either way, now she was restless, lost in thought as she considered the possibilities. This wasn't a 'what if' anymore. It didn't have to be ever again. It was right in-front of them, waiting.

"Do you have any questions? Or are you....?" She trailed off, tilting her head as her tone suggested the last word would have been 'ready'. She didn't know what to say, and tact wasn't her forte. She had controlled the conversation, did Miah want a chance? Or was she content? This was all so new and, well... exciting!

User Image As the two took another moment to seemingly just soak in what the other had said, Miah used that time to sip contentedly at her milkshake, humming happily as she began to all but daydream about the future--no longer just what it could be, but what it would be.

By the nine that felt good to think. In fact, that thought alone had a rather wide, almost dorky grin breaking across Miah's face, a soft, near-silent giggle escaping her as she blushed.

"Nope! I... I think I'm ready," she said softly, her smile widening slightly after she spoke. "Ready if you are, anyway,"

User Image Dandi had noticed the smile, breaking into her own as Miah's own happiness seemed to be contagious. A nervous and almost silly chuckle left Dandelion as she leaned back into her chair. And to think she was so worried originally!

'Nope! I... I think I'm ready.' That sentence left her heart a mess as it rapidly accelerated, her hands flexing as she tried not to tremble in both anticipating and, well, honestly? Fear. This was a big step, and neither of them knew for sure it'd work. Dandelion felt like it would. She trusted Miah, and she hoped the Imp returned the trust. But that didn't mean in a year, or more, they'd be happy. Dandelion only hoped she could ensure Miah was.

"I think I am." She shifted from her seat, slipping free and brushing her dress before lifting her umbrella. Her eyes drifted to Miah, hand extending and fingers rolling open in a gentle offer. They were about to begin a journey together, and Dandelion wanted to enter the bank showing that they were a team.

User Image Even despite her apparent readiness and excitement, even Miah couldn't ignore the sudden thudding in her chest as her heart threatened to explode straight out of her body. This was really happening, wasn't it? They were really about to go try and start a family. She barely knew this demon, and yet,... that wasn't even the imp's biggest concern.

Would they be good parents? Would they be able to manage school and parenthood? Would the children be happy?

Only time would tell, honesty. Miah didn't want her fears to deter her, that was for certain.

"Then lets go, shall we?" she finally said with a smile, taking a moment to finish off her milkshake before standing, lifting a paw to gently rest it atop the taller woman's own, gently and carefully lacing her claws with the other's fingers, before motioning them both along, out the door to the cafe, starting them down the path to their future.
