She didn't get a chance to center herself before she was tugged out of the boat. V'demhe chuckled and gained her footing before she nodded to Rainy. "Here goes nothing." It was time for them to go and see the pods that Aisha had granted to them. "Remember, you will be great." And she meant that. In her heart she knew he would make a wonderful dad to their younglings. Now it was her turn to pull him along. As she had before Dem made sure that no sister messed with Rainy. Maha didn't even need to be told, he simply followed and would growl at any Alkidike that got too close to him.

There was a look shared with him. Something that told him she could argue the subject with him all day. But then they were almost there. The nursery! The sister would lead them into the main part of it and head right for an elder. V'demhe took a deep breath and looked around, trying to spot the pods that held her younglings. Once they stopped though she brought her eyes to the Elder.

There was a long pause as the woman let her eyes go from Dem to Rainy, then from Rainy to Maha. Finally she brought her eyes back to Virain. She was judging. "Aisha has seen fit to grant your wish. She did not hold back in her blessing either.. the two of you," Her eyes now going to V'demhe again, "Have been given two lotus buds."

V'demhe's hand held onto Virain's tighter then. "And we are thankful to the Great Mother." Her words seemed to make the Elder pleased for then she stepped to the side and revealed the two pods that were very different from the rest. Dem sucked in a breath and gazed at them. "They are beautiful!"

She gave a nod to the sisters before moving forward and sinking down to her knees as well. Dem wrapped her arms around Rainy in a hug as tears welled up in her eyes and fell over onto her cheeks. Strength be damned, she was far too happy to keep the emotion inside. Aisha had listened to them and had found them worthy. "I love you so much Virain." What else could she say? There she sat staring at her gifts, her younglings wrapped lovingly in petals, next to her mate. Life was truly perfect. "When they bloom I would like to take them to Matori... if that is alright with you.."
