Kyo's jaw dropped at the sight of the butterfly like woman. Stammering he was somewhat lost at words. Kyo pointed towards the door, and tried to speak... "The... the door, There was gold words then a bright light!" The man's eyes grew large in size as something of a ghost began to float in the air, stammering even more.
"Ghost... there's a ghost behind you!" Glancing towards the others, more ghosts emitting from wands came into the picture. Kyo started to back away slowly.
"I'm... I'm really sorry for bothering you all" A hand slid down his arm, Kyo looked rather upset. Obviously in the way, again!

If the baby ghost's eyes had been truly visible, they would have gone round as saucers as the other floated over. Wispy arms flailed over Daniel's, and the 'shifter almost lost his already shaky grip upon the babe.
"Uh, would you look at that, Bennu," Daniel said uncertainly, the number of strange people and strange appearances almost making him lose his poise. But the easy smile slipped back onto his face almost instantly, and he stepped further in, carefully not to disturb the other floating ghost-child.
"I think our friend here isn't really sure what he's got himself into," he laughed lightly, pushing his glasses up his nose with his free hand before quickly assessing the rest of the room. Everyone else had the... air of being a guardian, and as Bennu gurgled quietly in his arm even he wondered for a moment just what he could take as perfectly normal any more. "My name is Daniel, and it's a pleasure to meet you all," and he swept as much of a bow as possible whilst still wearing an outdoor coat and having a baby ghost in tow. "Please don't be too alarmed, hey... as Malen," he glanced at the man as if confirming that he had got the name right, "said, we don't bite." The smile that revealed neatly pointed canines probably did not reassure the hapless wanderer much, but he was not perhaps too far off Daniel's current state of mind. Lunia' cloak, there were many guardians here. And once again he knew not a soul.

Neveah waved her slightly longer digits as Airaka introduced her to the newcomers, her black and blue wings fluttering for a moment before pressing together, making them insivible to whomever looked at her from the front; after all, the one who'd knocked over the lamp seemed almost afraid of her!
The butterfly woman laughed at Malen's words, looking over her shoulder to stick her tongue out at him. "I hope Ianna kicks you out for that one!" She was teasing of course, it would be a shame for one to lose their home, after all! As the startled man began to stammer however, the butterfly's attention went back to him, her antennae perking in curiousity.
"Door? Gold Words? Bright Light?" Neveah repeated, her naturally angled aqua eyes staring directly at him. Then, as if struck by some revelation, she gasped. "Oh, you mean the portal! Yeah, thats supposed to happen, don't worry!" She assured him, stretching out one of her arms to offer him her hand up. Naturally, the woman giggled as he caught sight of the ghosts. As if on cue, the little purple wisp she possessed curled around her arm, cautiously circling her wrist in uncertainty.
"Strange as it is, the little ghosties are normal too! Though from what I hear, they won't be ghosties for much longer.." Neveah looked back over her shoulder, surveying all the strange people and all the strange ghosts, herself and her drow wisp included. "You're no bother, trust me!" Assuring him once more, she then turned towards the other guardian to another baby ghost.
"Daniel? Thats a neat name...Ah...Its nice to meet you! I'm Neveah." She re-introduced herself, then motioned down to the one who'd knocked over the lap. "What's your name? You're the only one who hasn't introduced himself yet.." She reminded him softly, a thin smile on her lips.

Airaka grinned weakly at Malen's comment, holding her hands near her stomach. She didn't look back at him, but winched slightly as the portal was mentioned; she throughly disliked that thing. Her eyes flickered over to Daniel, and she bowed her head in acknowledgement. She directed her eyes to Daniel's baby ghost. It looked much like Kishi, yet different. Airaka zoned out, attempting to figure out what her wisp would look like when is becomes like the others. Neveah's last comment struck her out of her ponderous state, and her eyes refocused to the man on the floor. She raised an eyebrow, waiting for his responce, or atleast a name, to all the statements directed at him.

Pleased at having diffused the tension Malen sighed in contentment, of course that peace was not to last. From within his pocket Malen's beeper vibrated and this time his sigh was frustration. " Well I'd love to stay and discover the identitiy of our mystery man but apparently all play and no work makes for being fired so I'll merely hope to see you all again." Followed by a now rather miserable looking Kishi, Malen left the others and headed for the portal.

There is so much more to this place than portals and ghosts... Kyo shook his head at the thought, trying to absorb everything thrown at him. Deep down Kyocho knew something wasn't quite normal about this place, a deep secret hid deep down.
"Oh... they call me Kyocho, Kyo for short if you wish!" Kyocho grasped onto Neveah's welcoming hand and boosted himself up and patted off some dirt that might have taken refuge on his clothing.
"I'm... sorry about the lamp." Kyo whispered, reaching down to pick up the stray broken ornate pieces.

Daniel smiled quietly to himself and as Malen left leant inobtrusively against a nearby bookcase, pale eyes curious as he watched the man pick up lamp pieces. Bennu giggled softly, a breath on the wind of sound, and Daniel absently adjusted his grip (or rather, arm curl, as on a baby ghost there was not much to grip).
He nodded courteously to Neveah, noting the purple wisp shrewdly, but refrained from answering as she moved on to greeting the Kyo man. At his scared apologies, daniel was suddenly struck by the thought of just who is was did the cleaning around here. After all, it was a magical place, right? Did that mean Ianna was exempt from cleaning up after errant visitors? Shaking his head slightly he focussed more interestedly on the group, and moved his head away as a small flame-coloured smokey hand flailed at his glasses.

Neveah giggled at Malen's comment about all play and no work, waving lightly to him as he and Kishi departed. "Goodbye, Malen! It was nice to see you again!" She chimed after him, a pleasant smile on her pale lips.
"Kyocho, huh? Alright Kyo, welcome to the Headquarters!" She didn't know what the headquarters were for, but she did know that this was the headquarter. That was good enough for her, in her book. Well, for now, at least. "Its not us you have to apologize to, but hey...I'm sure Ianna'll understand." Infact, the butterfly knelt down and started to help pick up any broken fragments that may have spilled over the floor.
"This place is kept the way it is by magic, anyway. Ianna told me...she said one of her daughters uses magic to make sure the place stays in good shape. Maybe if we left the peices in one place, it would fuse back together?" This she directed not only at Kyo, but at Daniel and Airaka as well...she didn't know for sure, but maybe they did? Neveah studied rituals and sacrifices, not cleaning magic!
As she spoke, her purplish wisp fluttered around lazily, occassionally misting onto Kyo in a sort of ghost-like bump, though it did tend to stray close to the dragon wisp and the other baby ghost as well.

"Nice to meet you, Kyo." Airaka said witha grin. She bent down, and grabbed the lamp, or what was left of it, then stood back up, placing the lamp on the table where it had stood before being knocked over. "You mean, Matilda? Well... It's a good idea, Neveah. Wouldn't hurt to try." The white wisp floated by Airaka's shoulder, though whenever the drow wisp came near, he would attempt to bump into him. "Maybe we should put them there," she pointed to where she set the lamp, " And tell Ianna. Because maybe it needs to be acknowledged that it fell over, or something." Airaka was plenty confused about this whole cleaning magic thing.

"Oh ok..." Kyo glanced at Neveah slightly confused, about everything. Who were these people they talked about, Ianna and Matilda? Was one of them the voice the young man had heard not too long ago when he supposedly got pulled through that portal of a door? This place was quite odd really...
"I hope the lamp gets fixed, it was rather a nice piece of a trinket" Kyo smiled, trying to remove the confused glance from his face along with his worries of what could happen to him if the lamp never could be fixed.
