Remy was happy she liked his idea, he puffed up his chest proudly as he walked with her. He did hope she would still be able to get her dress, if things didn't work out like he told her he would feel really bad. He would just have to find something good enough to trade for a dress.

"Hm, I will have to find something good to take you up on that." He laughed as she bumped his arm, letting her knock him away dramatically, "Oof." Remy nudged her back, his tail wagging in delight before running ahead before she could get him back.

"Oh no!" He called out playfully with an added whimper at the end. Remy didn't want to run off too far, he didn't know where they were going, so he turned to the side and began to run around in circles with Soliel chasing after him. "You'll never catch me," he teased, watching her from over his shoulder. It was a familiar dance, but It was one of Remy's favorites.

It was kind of nice being chased by a beautiful young female, or was he chasing her? It was difficult to tell due to the circular nature of their chase. Remy stopped in his tracks, letting her get to him.

"Oh yeah!" He called out joyfully with a playful smirk on his face as they continued in the circle. They were really doing this. Perhaps it was childish for an adult to be acting this way, but Remy was having a blast.

"Oof!" Remy said, this time for real and not because he was being dramatic. As Soliel's momentum transferred to Remy he went crashing down. Since she had her arms wrapped around him, he took her with him. Remy looked up at Soliel who had him in an incredibly vulnerable position at the moment. "No, I'm definitely not escaping this one." He said. Maybe he could escape if he wanted too, he could likely push her off easily and be free, but he didn't really want that.

The playful smirk that had been on his face was now gone, his expression became more serious, although the playful look never left his eyes. The way Soliel had blushed and the way she had stammered out her words when she spoke, made him so much more aware of their present situation. He took a deep breath, it seemed neither one of them were daring to move, lost in each other's eyes and the moment.

Remy lifted his trunk, leaning closer to Soliel as if her blue eyes were pulling him in like a magnet. Their faces were just inches away from each other, and he could feel her breath. He was potentially ruining everything right now, but he was being driven by the moment and by the mix of courage and hormones that was swelling within his chest.

If she hadn't jumped off and ran away from him by now, his lips would firmly lock with hers, and hopefully they weren't still so close to her home that her father was watching through a window.

Warmth spread through his entire being as Remy also had his first kiss. She hadn't ran away, and more important than that: he was fairly certain that she had been the one to close up that last bit of distance between them before their lips touched. Those thoughts didn't matter though, because he was so deeply lost in her. Maybe someone should send for help, kind of lost, because there was no way he was getting back on his own.

He couldn't tell how much time had passed, but when they broke apart the corner of his lip rose into a lopsided smile. "Wow." His tail would have been wagging if it wasn't for the fact that it was presently crushed beneath his bottom. Remy waited, as if still expecting her to flee from him, or at least to play it off much more coolly than he had. He laughed mostly because he was a little stunned and had never been so still in his entire life.

It seemed to Remy that Soliel had jumped away from him far too quickly, like as fast as he usually moved, except for now. Now, he felt frozen and as still as he might ever be. Here it came, she was running way. She spoke instead, but part of him wished she had just run away. That was okay? Just okay? Had she not felt anything that he had felt? Here he thought that she had returned the kiss, but he was now wondering if he had just imagined that. He was beginning to wonder now, the kiss had felt so long to him, like time had stood still, but perhaps it had only really been just a second.

A look of confusion was spreading across his face, he only managed to keep the sting in his chest from showing. He stared at her blankly, blinking in disbelief as she said they could do it again sometime. Remy wasn't sure if he should be relieved or not. Since she was off of him now, he sat up as well. He took a page from her book and attempted to play it off as cool, "Oh, yeah... I guess we can try it again sometime." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. Remy stood up slowly, still feeling surprisingly still, and brushed off his bottom. "So, where was it that you wanted to show me?"

He was still feeling hurt, a feeling he wasn't used to, and wasn't even sure if he was supposed to feel. He was trying to tell himself to suck it up, that this wasn't a big deal, but it felt like a big deal.

Remy startled at her outburst, one that intrupted the daze he had been lost in. He wasn't sure what else to say to her now, he just felt so... Heavy. Whatever fun they had been having before was seemingly gone as the male dealt with his hurt and confusion. Everything had felt so right in the moment, but he had clearly done something very wrong. He had thought she had enjoyed it too, it had felt amazing, he had felt so connected and whole, as crazy as it seemed.

He followed Soliel, slowly and silently, wondering if she might ever forgive him. Could they remain friends after he had done something so severely out of line? Remy gulped, scratching behind his ear. Now he wanted to run away, but his body felt too heavy to do such a thing. It wasn't long before the awkward silence really got to him and he spoke up. "I'm really sorry Soliel..." He could go on to say he didn't know what he was thinking, and it would be true, he hadn't thought of the potential consequences. For now, he let those words hang.
