He had been in darkness, a drift without feeling or thought - there had been nothing. He couldn't remember it even though he'd just been there but he would remember the gasping breath that he took as air was sucked in to fill his lungs. Dark eyes flew open, wide, and searching as he sat up straight in a sudden move which brought him to bending over as it hurt to move so quickly. His chest still hurt but...but what had happened after that? The person was gone, as his frantically searching eyes didn't see them, and in their place was someone else.
"W-what happened?" He managed to get out while one hand came to rub at his chest. He had no idea what had happened after a hand had come out of his chest, he'd felt it pulling out and the immense pain...than nothing. He had no idea of what had happened to himself. "Did I die?" That was the only thing he could think of to explain the lapse of time, the pain and the nothingness only to suddenly be waking up. He'd died...hadn't he? Beejoux I know you, that look in your eyes...I really did die - didn't I?! ::had to...couldn't continue it properly::

There was a tense moment when Navi wasn't sure if she'd gotten the seed back in his chest on time, and then the color started returning to his cheeks, and a second later he was gasping for breath, eyes opening wide with shock. The senshi immediately reached out to lay a hand on the poor young man's arm, as much for comfort as it was to steady him. "It's alright, you're safe now." A fleeting glance was directed up the street in the direction the corrupt had fled in, then back down as she offered what she hoped was a reassuring smile. "You were attacked by an agent of chaos, and they tried to steal your starseed." Her free hand went to her own chest, resting there lightly. "Your life." In all the times she'd been at Painite's mercy, how had she managed to avoid this particular hell? Navi didn't know. "I stopped him and put it back. You're going to be just fine now." She frowned at the second questions, lips rolling together nervously before answering. "Not exactly, but you would have if I hadn't gotten your seed back where it belongs."

The words he understood and he knew how grave a position he'd been in. He'd spoken to Polaris after she'd saved him from the youma, she had told him about starseeds and what they were. To know that's what had been grabbed onto, what had been pulled from him, it left him reeling in a way he doubted many could understand. To have been that close to death and come back from it. Nodding his head he reached out a hand and placed it on her shoulder.
"Thank you." And he meant it, he really did. he knew if it wasn't for her he'd be dead. His starseed would have been that other persons and he'd have been left on the ground to be found in the morning, likely by trash collectors. His family told and then what? Who would keep them safe and be there for his cousin? No, it was a good thing she had turned up and he owed her...but how to pay her back? He knew how he'd thanked Polaris might be odd, though she'd welcomed it, so he didn't offer a trip for food like he had back then.
"Polaris explained some...another time. Saved from youma." He explained as best as he could. He had some understanding thanks to her. He was still shocked at how close he'd come and the idea of what would have happened had he died. It left a person in a state of shock for sure and feeling all kinds of things. But he also didn't like the idea that this could happen to other people, and that it did happen to others. These people had to be stopped and he hoped they were, sooner rather than later.
"You are?"

She wondered if she should have been offering him a hand up, more coddling, saying more than she was. She wondered if she was doing this all right, or if she was making a mess of things, despite the obvious of saving his life. This was a side of the coin she hadn't been on much. As a Dark Mirror she hadn't been exposed to this sort of thing often. They had gathered energy, and for her that had meant finding thugs or low lives. She hadn't encountered youma often, or even the negaverse itself. So it had been easy to miss the darker side of things. Their court had been a part of chaos, but they had stood on their own, apart from it all. They'd kept to themselves. So Navi was nervous here, as she kept a hand on his back and smiled gently at him. "I'm Sailor Navi." Rolling her lips together, she tried to think of something helpful to say. "I could walk you home, if you like. Or where ever you want to go?"

"Navi...good to meet you." Very good, she had just saved him. She was very nice to meet, a name he would remember. "I'm Seung." Not such an easy name, like hers, but he rather liked his name. He was no senshi, or knight, like her and Polaris. He wasn't anything special like they were, or even like the one who had almost killed him tonight. It was from people like the one earlier that he had to keep his family safe....somehow, he didn't know how.
"Walk home...that would be nice..." He said after a moments thought. He would appreciate it greatly, in case the person might come back or someone else came for him. He didn't fancy the idea of another encounter with someone like that or one of those youma even, he couldn't forget them either. All of them horrifying in their own way and dangerous - very dangerous.
Standing, slowly, he made sure his legs would handle his weight as he got up and offered a hand up to Navi.

She took the offered hand, but stood up under her own power. He'd just been through one hell of an ordeal, and he was probably tired, maybe unsteady. She wouldn't have blamed him. "I'd be happy to. Where do you live?" It'd be nice to see him home, make sure he made it there alright. sleet tempest slate Sorry for tiny tag, I've been feeling under he weather lately

"Apartments, not far." He answered nodding his head, a gentle smile crossing his features. The walk wouldn't be too much, and with company it would be good. It would be nice to have someone with him in case anything happened again, or in case he got too tired or just...ya know gave into the sudden rush from almost dying. He was still fighting it off as much as he could but he still felt a lot like jello and it was a rather unpleasing feeling honestly. Beejoux That's ok, I hope you feel better. Short also but brain dead. Should eventually have Navi and him meet again, she can find out he's now a knight.
