In exchange for that, their name is added to a ledger of donors for a chance at a fabulous prize pot! Participants must make up a written name for their kin, either real or fictitious, to enter. Total ≤10 - Automatic Loss! One 1 - Automatic loss! Regardless of if your other roll is 1-19, you flubbed it! Two 1's - Critical failure. A scribbled sketch of your kin biting it, as per your post!
1 and 20 - Last-minute save! Participation token, but no victory. Total >30 - Guaranteed participation token! Even if you "lose" that day, Nightlife is amused enough to fork over a ticket!

Mechanics: 20-sided dice roll with a luck component; the idea is that you trade your catches for tokens. Some catches give nothing, some give tokens, and others give "art" and by "art" I mean "weird, silly MS Paint drawings of your kin."
This sounds perfect! 1 token per win, and I suggest you balance out the failures with art wins, to encourage activity! Mechanics: I will draw a target with numbers stating 10, 20, 30, and 40. Each post, the OOC player rolls a random number from 1 to 50, and if they land on any of those 4 numbers, they win a token. They can roll up to 10 times a day, with only 1 token going out per winner.
This is fine! I would suggest making 50 a win, too, so that it's well balanced~ Aside from that, you're good to go. Mechanics: Three times per day roll 1d10, and post a 1-3 sentence description of your kin searching, in order to find some of the missing seeds. Once the searching kin has found 25 seeds (this may take a few days so make sure to keep track) they may redeem them for 1 token.
Remember: Each player can only search/roll 3 times a day and they must describe their kin searching in order for the roll to count.
If you are new and do not have a kin use of an imaginary kin is acceptable.
This is a bit tough; average roll on a d10 is 5.5, which means average roll of 3d10 is going to be 16.5, so it's pretty much guaranteed to take 2 days. As such, I'm going to approve you to give out 2 tokens when the kin hits 25 seeds~ When you're ready, you can make a thread in this subforum for your booth; please put [USER BOOTH] at the start of the topic, and put [OPEN] at the end of the topic once you've finished setting up!

Mechanics/Game Has Changed
Your Username: Magician Arcana Kin Running Booth: Death Brings Change Name of Booth: Story Time One sentence booth concept: Tell DBC a delightful story and he will give you a token of gratitude Mechanics: Originally I was going to make madlibs... But I have learned I am not good at madlibs. Oops.
So the mechanics have been simplified. Daily users can roll 3d20 to find 3 words on 3 seperate lists. Also Daily, the genre will change. They must then craft these words into two or more sentence stories that follow the new genra. It can be as simple or complex as they want.
Players can earn their daily coin and the stories that make me really laugh or I really enjoy might get a special something at the end of the event (probably some gold or a doodle).
This sounds great~ If changing the genre every day gets too stressful, though, you could always lengthen the time between changes. Lural
Your Username: Lural Kin Running Booth: Dog Name of Booth: What's in a name? One sentence booth concept: A straight up raffle! Mechanics: Once a day, users can write out name glyphs for their kin to be entered into a drawing! IC it would be dog pulling scraps of bark or something out of a turtle shell; in actuality, it will be a RNG each day. Users can draw as many glyphs as they like, but only 1 raffle ticket per person per day.
----------------------
Your Username: Lural Kin Running Booth: Tangled web Name of Booth: Do you hear what I hear? One sentence booth concept: A story/song writing contest! Mechanics: Every couple days, a new prompt will be give given for kin to write a (World appropriate) story or song for the winter season. Prompts may include OOC concepts like the Christmas or Hanukkah stories, or making a Matope-appropriate Christmas carol. They will be subjectively judged based on how well I think the story or song is written.
I'd like to ask you to resubmit for these with some more info before I approve.
For the first one -- why a raffle? I think you could just give everyone 1 token for their glyphs, as an approval. Unless you're offering a prize in addition to tokens, you're asking for a lot of work with little reward. If you want to add another prize, though, that's fine!
For the second one -- again, what are you giving out? I feel again that this could be a token for participation [and if they hit 500 words, this one could also be used as a legendary storytelling req!] and unless you're giving out another prize, you don't need a contest component~
Think on it, and resubmit to this thread with a revised writeup please!!!

Your Username: iStoleYurVamps Kin Running Booth: Deep Water Fears Name of Booth: Pool of Mystery One sentence booth concept: Touch things and guess what they are. Mechanics: rolling 2d10 Matope must dip a hoof into a pool of dark water and describe what they think it is they have encountered. First die is what pool/what they feel, second is if they are 'right' as determined by Deep Water Fears.
Side game is 20 Qs, each matope may ask one question about an item they encountered a day, and the one who guesses correctly gets a very special fish the DWF caught! Collaborative, matope know what each other has asked/answers in traditional 20qs fashion. Once an item hits 20q, no more Qs, just guesses. If 10 guesses go by an no one is right, new item will be brought in.
You too -- can you give me a little more info here? What are the payouts going to be on this? How many tokens? I think you could make it just one of the other. I'm not sure exactly how this works game-wise, so a little more info could help!! [also matope is the swamp, kin are the creatures (;]
Your Username: Moonstone Dazzle Kin Running Booth: Gecko Name of Booth: Super Duper Kissing Booth! One sentence booth concept: The player rolls one ten-sided die, and kisses a frog- or a Gecko! Mechanics: The kin approaches the booth, and gets to kiss a frog! Someone got the idea in Gecko's head that kissing a frog... turns them into a handsome kin? Weird. But hey! It means that you have a very easy opportunity to score some sweet loot off of her! (Player rolls, and types up a 100+ word response for credit!)
1. You kiss a frog. Blech. Gecko nods approvingly, and gives you some fresh fruit for your trouble. 2. You... miss the frog's mouth. Gecko is extremely disappointed, and sends you on your way. 3. You feel disinclined to kiss the frog, suddenly. Gecko is sad, but understands. 4. You give that frog a great big smooch! Gecko is pleased, and gives you a token. 5. The frog... isn't there? Gecko panics, and runs off to find her friend. Sorry! No kiss for you! 6. You end up kissing... a toad? Gecko is upset. This is not a frog AT ALL. Nonetheless, you get some fruit for your trouble. 7. You kiss... Frog. Uh-oh. That... that wasn't supposed to be for you. Gecko laughs nervously, and gives you a token. You stumble off drunk from this weird, toxic creature. 8. There is no frog to kiss. Instead, you kiss Gecko! The doe is pleased. Her next door neighbor, Fair Hunter, is NOT, and gives you a token on the promise this will not happen again. (Note- if you kiss Gecko twice, Fair Hunter just scares you off. No token today!) 9. Gecko is on union break! No kiss for you. 10. You end up kissing a fish. Why is there a fish? "Oh, sorry!" Gecko chirps, laughing. "That's my lunch!" The acha she stole the fish from doesn't seemed thrilled at off.
I would make the odds on getting a token like 7 or 8 out of 10, unless you're offering another prize. Aside from that, though, this is an adorable idea!! You might also consider bribing an artist to make some simple frogs for you, and you could give those out as well, but you'd have to make it work. I'd offer but I'm just way too busy atm I'm sorry. T___T
If you adjust the odds, this is good to go! When you're ready, you can make a thread in this subforum for your booth; please put [USER BOOTH] at the start of the topic, and put [OPEN] at the end of the topic once you've finished setting up!
Shaddaling
Your Username: Shaddaling Kin Running Booth: Blood on the Sands and Burning Legion (Blood and Conquest) Name of Booth: Find the lambs before the wolves eat them One sentence booth concept: Dice rolling sort of CYOA game Mechanics: This is complicated but basically
At the start of the game, two numbers will be rolled. One between 20-40 will assigned to Joke, and one between 80-100 will be assigned to Gorge jumper.
Each player has 24 roll (representing the hours of a day) to find Joke and Gorge without being eaten by a wolf (Certain kin), being bit by a poisonous snake (Zikwa's) or road blocked by a bear (certain kin) or having wolves called down on them by a rabbit (certain acha).
Each roll is random number generated between 1-100 with each number assigned a prompt - example
11-?? ( will either bring up a kin, helpful or dangerous)
9 - Your kin finds a nest of eggs! + 1 point Do they a - eat the eggs? - loose one turn but + 1 towards outrunning wolves b. Mark the nest as theirs - loose one turn c. Continue onward? Roll as normal
17. That looks like a totoma track, you must be on the right path + 4 points
Points are added up to equal the number needed into finding Joke, and then the kin continues on their journey to find Gorge. Points can also be used to buy items (Below)
There are helpful characters The sisters- sell items for points that can be used to bypass a wolf or treat a snake bite.
Two of the Rabbits when found will give the players hint in finding Jump and Gorge
Kin encounters are all marked as ???, when a kin is encountered, they quote me, I find them on the list and post if the Kin is a Wolf, Rabbit, Sister, Snake, or Bear and ask what action they wish to take which can be Attack, Run Away, Use an item/ buy an item( Items allow for increase avoidance or to bypass the encounter completely) or if the Kin can be Bribe depending on actions previous to the encountered. (Kins have different items in the prompts they can be bribed with)
After the first encounter, the action mechanics chosen by the player will be posted to help speed the game along.
Ex. If they choose bribe, that kins bribe stats will be posted so players who have that item can simply bribe them and move on.
They can attempt to play three times example : first play through , a Wolf takes them down, they can try again with another kin. (each attempt has to be played through completely before starting a new life - either you find Joke and Gorge or end up taken out)
Tolkens given out ( 3 per game) First to who ever first finds Joke and Gorge. Second to who ever kills the most wolves (Because Blood and Conquest are blood thirsty) Third is rp subjective.
Other prizes... My inventory is out of control. I will be tossing items out like crazy.
(Holiday season are busy but most of my school work will be done, so I'm hoping to get a game ending and a new one up every two or three days)
I think this is a little complicated, and requires too much work from your end -- trust me, you're going to regret it if you have to reply to every single person who comes into your thread!! Could you simplify this to a simple rolled CYOA, where the prizes are assigned out automatically without your efforts? Can you resubmit with a little more info, maybe a quick writeup [in spoilers XD] of what the listing would be like?

1-20: PUNY! TOO WEAK! (No tokens!) 21-40: That's the best you got?! (1 token) 41-60: Still got a long ways to go! (2 tokens) 61-80: Not bad, not bad! (3 tokens) 81-99: HEYA!!! WAY TO GO!!! (4 tokens) 100: YOU BROKE IT! (5 Tokens)
The rule is technically supposed to be that user booths can only give out 1 token, but I'm actually okay with this anyway! I'd ask you to adjust the breakdown a bit though:
1-20: 0 21-75: 1 76-90: 2 91-99: 3 100: 5

Roll 1d6 to see what species you're fighting in your first post. Next, roll 2d10 in a separate post and add a modifier to the second die based on the animal you rolled. If the second die is higher than the first, you get a token! We may award item and/or art prizes for people who write really well, too.
This sounds fine! My suggestion for balance is a 7 or 8 out of 10 chance to get a token, unless you're offering another prize like gold or an item or something! And uhh. Sorry Gilded, you are offering WAY too many tokens. u.u The rule is supposed to be that user booths can only offer 1 token as a prize, or other items [such as art, gold, or gaia items]. Can you please rewrite these to limit your reward turnout to only 1 token per person? I'm not sure your current booth concepts will work based on this model, so you might have to simplify this. First die is what pool/what they feel, second is if they are 'right' as determined by Deep Water Fears. Requires min 50 words of RP to validate win.
Just drooping second portion.
Mechs are p simple. 2d100
First die: 1-10: You feel something slimy and your hoof nearly slips off it. 11-20: You feel something hard and it sounds like a shell of some sort 21-30: Your hoof goes into the water and you notice that there is a light tingling feeling like feathers but more alive. 31-40: You feel something mossy yet lacking in the familiar soft texture. It's brittle and well, cold. 41-50: You feel something very faintly brushing not you hoof, but your whole leg. As you pull away it almost feels likes its try to suck you back in. 51-60: You feel something attach itself to you then abruptly let go. You feel nothing after. 61-70: The water is cold, so cold all you can tell is that whatever you are touching is rubbery. 71-80: You feel something furry and warm. 81-90: As you feel around, you notice the water getting thicker and become darker, nearly black. Pulling away, you realize the water has turned to black slime. 91-100:You feel something that OW! It BIT you! It wasn't teeth though, more like a beak. A peck really.
Decond die: 1-20: You give your answer to Deep Water Fears who smiles and very calmly states that while a good guess, that is not what you have encountered. (No Token) 21-60: As you tell Deep Water Fears what you think it is, he grins, pushing a token towards you. "Very good. Just keep it secret." He says with a wink. (Token win) 61-80: As you make your claim, Deep Water Fears just shakes his head, saying to try again later. (No Token) 81-90: Deep Water Fears notes your kins word with a long hum before pushing a token towards them. "You are very good at this. Please, try again a little later!" (Token win) 91-100: As you explain Deep Water Fears looks slightly concerned than says very slowly, "That is not.. I... I am very sure you are mistaken." Their look of confusion is only matched by their worried gaze to the pools themselves. (No Token)
Your Username: Ishtadaal Kin Running Booth: Echo and Cave Yell Name of Booth: Treasure Trove One sentence booth concept: Kin offer various treasures to the hoarding twins in exchange for a chance at a prize pool! Mechanics: Players write a (50 word plus) post describing their kin offering a prize to the pair, and writing down their naming symbol for the twins to raffle. In exchange for that, their name is added to a ledger of donors for a chance at a fabulous prize pot! Participants must make up a written name for their kin, either real or fictitious, to enter. It can be scribbled in MS paint or lovingly rendered in crayon on a bar napkin! It just needs to be present.
Draw will be done at 12:00 Midnight EST, as per this table.

Your Username: Ishtadaal Kin Running Booth: Nightlife Name of Booth: Keep it Up! One sentence booth concept: Kin take turns catching and tossing a toy parachute to in a circle! The one who lets it down is out of the game. Mechanics: Players for the day rolls 2d20, and will write a post (of at least 100 words) to describe how the catch-and-pass went!
One 20 - Automatic win, unless the other number was a 1! 2 tokens. 20 and 20 - Critical success! 2 tokens, plus a terrible sketch of your kin's victory!
The first one sounds good, but I'd say the second is a bit hard to understand for me. You only get a prize if you roll 2 1s, higher than 30, or a 20? Have you calculated the odds on this? I'd try to make sure your odds are ~75% win rate! It's up to you, though, if you want to put it out there with a low win rate. When you're ready, you can make a thread in this subforum for your booth; please put [USER BOOTH] at the start of the topic, and put [OPEN] at the end of the topic once you've finished setting up!

Sounds okay by me, though I think your lose ratio's a bit high! I'd aim for ~75% win rate. Yours looks around 50%. But that's up to you! When you're ready, you can make a thread in this subforum for your booth; please put [USER BOOTH] at the start of the topic, and put [OPEN] at the end of the topic once you've finished setting up!
Also, if you do want to run a 20 Qs game, you could probably do that separately with like a 'buy in' and then the person who gets it gets the pool [or with the buying questions like zoo did in the day zero meta >>;] but that might be a bit complicated to set up, so if you want to do it I'd make it a second booth~

For every mask you design (limit 1 per day), you get 1 Token. The best two masks at the end of the event will get these acha.
Kin Running Activity: Half Sleep, Half Waking One sentence booth concept: Find the token. Mechanics: The twins, Half Sleep and Half Waking, were put in charge of a game of luck. Unfortunately, they're not the brightest. Their game is simple: Guess which twin has the token.
Roll 1d4. 1 - Nothing 2 - Correct, Sleep had it! (1 Token) 3 - Correct, Waking had it! (1 Token) 4 - They got confused. Both of them had a token. Lucky you! (2 Tokens)
Kin Running Activity: Lackwit One sentence booth concept: Make a limerick. Mechanics: Write and perform a limerick (AABBA). Although Lackwit likes a bawdy joke, try to keep it clean. Get a token!
OOC: Basically, 1 booth, 3 activities to choose from.
* If it's too many activities, I can cut Lackwit's! * If it's too easy, the "Find a Token" game odds can be adjusted to Even: Token, Odd: No Token. *Participants can do more than one activity per day (for tokens) only IF they fail the first activity. Basically, if you roll a 1 on "Find a Token" you can write a Limerick or Color a Mask instead.

I would love to run a game like this, but thought it might get a bit messy, as that would in theory, require them to validate 'spending' a token on the booth itself, and me to keep a running tally. It's not a problem of work, just a a lot of hoops. Would it be workable in the sense of that each player (not kin) gets three buy in tokens to get another question? Thus those with multi kin don't have an advantage over those w/o kin.
The jackpot cap out be your choice since I'd rather not go '20 TOKENS! TOKENS FOR EVERYONE!' (token oprah). But I do like the notion that the 3 kin who ask the 2 questions right before the winning answer get a few tokens as well, since in 20 Qs games those are the people who tend to ask the key questions. And if need be I can always forward the 20Qs answer to you/mule so no one can say I changed/made it impossible.
I LOVE 20Qs ITS SUCH A FUN GAME but I am all about clarity/keeping to shop rules and event restrictions and that jazz

I'm okay with all this, even the two tokens! It's nice and simple which is gr8. And I'm okay with the 3 options and the 'you can try a different one if you fail' too, but you could also maybe split this into several booths instead of one thread and then people could do all of them every day. It's up to you! Can you write it up? It sounds really fun, but it is so hard to set up. I'm not sure. It might just be too much.
Although, I guess it could be set up more simply. Maybe any kin can 'start the game'. There are 3 tokens there at the start. If the kin stumps everyone, they keep the 3 tokens; if the thing is guessed, the last 3 kin to ask questions each get 1 token. Only one game running in the booth at a time. Does that sound more feasible? /strokes chin

THATS A LOT BETTER @ starting with three and if stumps, keeps, if guessed last 3 Kin get token each. Othwise its yes, becomes a lot more complex and layered which..is counter.
Your Username: iStoleYurVamps Kin Running Booth: Broken Bones Name of Booth: Yay or Nay One sentence booth concept: 20 Questions Mechanics: Broken Bones is betting 3 tokens no one can guess what he's thinking of. The item in question might be a body part of a fellow kin, a kin species, a familiar, or just something that any kin might encounter every day. Each kin is allowed to ask a single question a day, and have 1 guess a day as to just what it is. If after 20 questions have been asked and no kin can guess the item, Broken Bones keeps his tokens. If a Kin guesses right, they and the previous two guessers OR questioners gain 1 token each.
