Olympus was real? Tikal's eyes narrowed a little as she toyed with her skirts a little.

Well, apparently she was, looking at the faces that were here. She didn't know a single one of them, but... well, she was new at this. Why would she? The Ganymede page pulled her hair over her shoulder and just kind of stood off to one side as she watched and listened. It looked like she was a little late with everything. Slowly she started to braid her own hair, not sure what she was even doing here.

Still it was a summons wasn't it? In her head she had a sworn duty to show up at these kinds of things. That's how knights did things on television!

Argh. Leaving was always an option.

Power up. Power down. Power up. Power down.

Brendan was practicing summoning his wind chime and dismissing it again when the call came. Come to Olympus, a voice inside his head said. "Olympus?" he said aloud, puzzled. Such a place actually existed? So many things were still so confusing about being a knight. Things are waiting for you at Olympus. "How do I get there?" As soon as he said it, he felt a tug. Powering up, he allowed the tug to take him...

... to a place that looked like a coliseum where there were a whole lot of people in outfits that told him they were probably knights too. Alhambra kicked the red sand out of the toes of his sandals and looked around with wonder in his eyes and a big grin on his face. So many knights, so many people like him. This was exciting -- maybe he'd get some more answers!

Making his way through the crowd, he moved toward the center, where there was a girl in a curious outfit with a dog and a strange scroll suspended in mid-air. The others seemed to be gathering around this girl as well, so the Uranus page decided this was as good a place to wait as any. He didn't care what the 'things' were the voice in his head has mentioned; he was just thrilled to be around other knights.

A voice in his head wasn't something Darren was very fond of to begin with, but the text that followed it gave him all he needed to decide that maybe he could delay his studying for a few hours. Putting the books aside, he made sure to lock his room in the dorm and powered up, allowing the voice to tug him to Mars.

Once there, it did not take him long to find Dallol. Making his way over to her, he placed a hand lightly on her back and kissed her cheek softly. "You could smile a little, people might talk to you then." He smirked at her a bit.

Corinth was teasing of course.

Glitnir was one of the last to heed the call of the Code. A pleasant family Thanksgiving had helped ease some of his tension, but he still held a bit of apprehension towards powering up and patrolling. What was he supposed to do if he encountered a less experienced Knight? He was doing better, but he still felt uncertain about his ability to guide others. He needed to sit and think and come to some resolutions, and he hadn't exactly done that lately. Perhaps defeat had made him lazy.

Being on Olympus gave Glitnir a sense of pride; this landmark was on his planet, after all. There were quite a few people already there, and he could have sworn he saw some familiar faces. At the center of it all was a Mercury Squire. It was a curious thing, seeing a Mercury Squire on Mars, but surely there was a reason for it. Behaving a bit more glum than usual, he stayed towards the edge of the crowd, watching to see what would happen.

Eliza sat in her room with Puck in her lap, she had gone home for the holiday and was enjoying her time away from the city. Enjoying the silence of the night. She moved Puck and rose, heading to the window and climbing out onto the roof to look at the stars. Sitting up on the roof looking at the stars she wondered where her wonder was in the night sky, the lighthouse on the surrounding. It warm light guiding travelers of the past now without a purpose, she wasn't terribly certain. She talked to Delaire about it but he was sometimes cryptic and she wasn't sure he knew.

In the silence of the knight she heard the call. Come to Olympus. She perked up and listened. Things are waiting for you at Olympus.

Eliza nodded and allowed herself to be pulled to Olympus. If her mother came looking for her, she would likely assume from her open window that she'd gone to visit Wiliie.

Upon arrival she looked around at the only vaguely familiar place. She'd only been one other time thus far, she smiled though at all the familiar faces and grinned waving at Hvergelmir excitedly. “Hi Lady Hver,” she spouted before shuffling over to where she spotted Celsus, Triumphalis, and Bifrost.

When she reached them she smiled happy as always, it was hard to bring the girl down for long. “Hi guys.” She gave Bifrost a big hug before turned to Celsus and giving him the biggest Pharos hug despite his demeanor. He looked like he could use a hug, honestly most of them did. She released him and shuffle to his other side peeking and grinning at Triumphalis before looking around at the other knights, taking in the them in watching everyone interact.

Xander sat on couch with his sisters, girlfriend and Dessie. Rose was going on a shopping spree with the black Friday sales going on. Xander hadn't bothered. He had a lot of time off from work and so most of his Christmas shopping was done. Lily was talking to Dessie about ice skating which the family planned to do next week.

Xander was just enjoying the chatter as Rose leaned over to show Linds something asking what she thought of what Xander noticed was a shirt. “Doesn't look like something you usually wear.”

Rose rolled her eyes and looked at Dessie for a moment before looking back to Xander, “it's not for me brother dearest, beside I was talking to your lady.”

Rose grinned at Linds before she heard the weirdest thing that made her look around. Come to Olympus. She blinked, Things are waiting for you at Olympus.

“Olympus, what the hell is that, surely not ...”

Xander gave her a look having heard it himself, but shocked Rose did. He looked to Linds to see if she had. “It's a coliseum on Mars where the knight code resides. If you hear it you're being called. We should go see what's up.”

Lily gave her sister a pointed look then looked to Xander, “family meeting later then. Go make sure everything is okay.”

Xander nodded and looked to his sister and Linds, “only if you two want, just let it take you.”

Next moment he was standing in Olympus among other knights mostly unfamiliar to him, which he supposed really not good. Rose appeared next to him looking very unfamiliar to him. She gave him a curious look and whispered, “Xander?”

He nodded, “Shangri-la Squire of Pluto.”

She nodded, “Viminal, Page of Venus.”

Mont Blonc's wave was not missed. Celsus glanced over at the Saturn knight, his expression slipping from nothing at all to something slightly less stiff. He lifted a hand, mimicking the wave with the briefest twitch of his own fingers, but his attention was momentarily drawn away to the arrival of Bifrost, Triumphalis, and Pharos. He gave Mont Blonc a slightly apologetic look.

"No idea," Celsus said, in answer to Triumphalis' question. He felt jittery, quite unable to stay still as he rocked back onto his heels, and a strong desire to walk away and forget this whole thing passed through him, eyes flickering. Pharos' tight embrace was met with slight surprise, but after a moment, he returned it, bending to press a brief, absent kiss to her cheek before drawing away, already withdrawing in on himself with his arms around his middle.

"Maybe we're all having a mad fight to the death, see who the victor is to come out on top," Celsus said sardonically, bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet.

Even as he stood there, more and more knights seemed to be arriving. So many new faces, so many planets represented. Had he not been powered at this point, he nerd in him would have been recording as much of this as he could, for future reference of course.

It was as his eyes scanned the area that he saw but one familiar face. Or rather, hair. He chuckled to himself as his pale form moved with a silent stealth towards the backside of Shangri-la. The Pluto Knight had nothing but a smile on his face as he reached out to tap the man on the shoulder. "If you would range the mane you would be harder to notice." He chided. "Though then I would be all alone in this horrible crowd."

Though he enjoyed watching people, being in this close proximity to so very many auras sent his nerves on edge. The power coming from each and every one of them was amazing, and terrifying.

It was a holiday and Corey was busy. Busy making money.

The very first year his arcade had opened he'd been surprised by the amount business had picked up during that particular holiday weekend. People back visiting family, children who didn't have school, teens trying to avoid all the family and people back home. It had been a wonderful surprise, but one that he had banked on and capitalized on every year afterwards. He offered some small specials to further entice customers, but it wasn't really even needed. Just the offer of someplace to dump the kids for awhile so that parents could do their Black Friday shopping or just try and wear out rambunctious children was enough.

When the call came Corey was surprised. And reluctant. Leaving work when everything was so crazy and busy seemed like a bad idea. But a call from the Code... and Olympus... It was hard to turn down, especially when he was finally, after all this time, trying his best to actually be a good dutiful knight.

Glancing at the clock on the wall he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. He guessed he could take his break now... he'd already been putting it off for the past hour or so. He'd need to be back soon but.. maybe he could pop off for a little bit, check in at Olympus and be back in 15 or 20 minutes? It was at least worth a try.

Double checking and confirming with a couple of his employees, Corey finally disappeared into the backroom, powering up to Bimini before whisking himself away to Olympus for a quick pop in. Hopefully whatever it was would be quick.

-----------------------

While most people greatly enjoyed long holiday weekends Menthe was not a big fan. And this one in particular was strange. It was her first Thanksgiving not spent with her overbearing mother, which had made Thursday kind of wonderful. But now she had a whole Friday through Sunday worth of time and absolutely no clue what to do with herself.

If only she could just be at work. Sorting files, transcribing notes, taking messages, anything. She'd even volunteered, but alas the whole law office was closed tight for the weekend.

Menthe had finally settled into a chair and a book of crossword puzzles when the message hit her.

Olympus???

Biting her lower lip softly she fretted. Was something bad going on? A battle that needed her? Certainly she wouldn't be any help in a battle... she'd be more liability than anything.

But she couldn't just NOT go. Not after a request from the Code.

It took about 10 minutes of deliberating in total, weighing all the pros and cons of the trip before Menthe finally powered up to Conchordia. And then another 5 before she finally let herself be carried into space, blinking as she tried to acclimate herself to the strangeness of Mars.

The low mummer of chatter and talking warned her of the crowd before she was close enough to see it, but even the prewarning did not help sooth her as she entered, taking in just how many knights were gathered. So many people. Practically all strangers.

Well.. at the very least it didn't seem to be a battle, no weapons drawn. Shrinking into her robes, towards the edge of the room Conchordia basically tried to hide while sneaking glances around, trying to figure out just why she'd received the message she had.

"Thanks darling!" The squire waved to her as she left and she turned her head at her cotton candy cutie. "Hey there Tiede, No Eden tonight?" She tilted her chin, looking around for the other knight of cosmos. Four of four that she knew was good odds.

Plus she was getting a a lot of colors and knights going on so she was twisting her head and trying to make everyone out.

"What kind of knights are here?"

Newgrange was only slightly familiar with Olympus; the Squire of Earth had been there only once before and his knowledge of it was still extremely lacking. Which made this all the more taxing; the voice which summoned him hadn't seemed malicious, but it immediately concerned him that he'd done something wrong, or that he had been called away from Earth because he was failing some expectation. While a part of him had thought it might be a good idea to just stay home, lock the doors and call it an early night, he did not succumb to weakness of the sort. Instead, he accepted—even if only out of obligation, and because to decline felt more of a burden than accepting the call, anyway.

When he first arrived, he immediately felt as if he did not belong, which was no fault of anyone but himself. He saw more strangers than he did familiar faces, but it was reassuring to see so many Knights gathered in one place. Likely then, that meant he hadn't done something terrible.

…But that meant he had no idea why he was here, amidst a crowd of strangers whose presence he paled in. Many of them didn't seem concerned or worried, and he did his best to appear relaxed and casual. The last time he had been here it hadn't been awful, but he still didn't have any idea what to expect. Being exhausted from Holidays and working to keep up with the demand had left him more tired than he cared to admit, and he could only hope it didn't show.

Newgrange did not seek out interaction, at first; a perpetual fear of inadequacy lurked in the back of his mind. Rather than intrude on a conversation, he quietly retired to a seat out of the way enough he didn't worry about being in someone's way, but near enough that he could still eavesdrop and worry in peace.

He kept his eyes open for a familiar face, or anyone who looked like they had the answers, but the only person who stuck out was the girl with the dog and the strange mist next to her. Sitting, perhaps too rigidly, Newgrange allowed his eyes to wander the scenery and the faces of those who had already settled in—and kept an eye out for those who were still arriving.

It was a good thing that Corinth spoke up right after he approached Dallol from the side and kissed her cheek. A couple of seconds later, the Uranus Squire would have acted first and think later by stomping on his foot with her heels based on the assumption that he was just another guy who was trying to get fresh with her because of how she looked in her fuku. Nevermind the fact that they were all currently gathered at Olympus in the presence of the Code and were thus forbidden to inflict any form of bodily harm upon another of their own.

Dallol's patience had been worn really thin with all the stress that she was under as of late and she wasn't about to stand for any of that kind of s**t. Worrying about whether she would be left to her own devices if Corinth hadn't come to join her was really one of the last few things on her mind at present. "And try to steal me from you? Very funny Corinth." She played along nonetheless with a smile though it never quite reached her eyes.

Slipping a hand into his to give it a small squeeze, she brushed a kiss to his cheek. "Happy belated Thanksgiving by the way. How are things at DCU?"

Scholomance returned Mont Blonc's greeting with a pouty glare. "I wouldn't be here if that voice wasn't so damned insistent. I could be lying in bed right now, sleeping through the day, blissfully ignoring text messages but instead I get some jerkoff whispering in my ear that I should come to some place that I didn't expect to look like this." Scholomance kicked at the sand with his cane. "Where is this? Mars? Mars is a dump. There's not even any alcohol to liven it up." The injured squire huffed.

"I wouldn't be powered up at all if I wasn't getting pissed at from every angle," he muttered under his breath.

"Do you have any idea why we're here? Other than 'things are waiting for us'. Personally, I only see three things: a broken down colosseum, a whole wad of knights, and some scroll glowing in the center of it all. I don't think that voice intended to throw us a ball, either, and since about everyone else looks just as confused..." Scholomance sighed and dropped his shoulders. He felt much too exhausted to keep on with his ire, or to try and analyze the point of their current location. Nothing immediately stood out to him as the 'thing' that was waiting for them aside from the glowing scroll, and he found it so brilliant that he couldn't read any writing on the thing - or even see any from this distance. Scholomance felt like he needed sunglasses just to look upon it.

Hvergelmir took notice of them not long after her arrival, and he tried to smile around the pain. It must've looked more like a grimace, he thought. "Hvergelmir," he started, the smile fading. "I would love to be at home resting. I want nothing more than to be at home resting, with a cat on my face, with loads of painkiller, and with nothing on my agenda for the next week and a half. But, unfortunately, I turned momentarily schizophrenic and heard a disembodied voice calling me to a famous Greek landmark for the gods which is really just the location of popular bloodbaths apparently, and it decided that sleep was out of the question. And while I would love to sit, I seem to recall the ancient Romans using places like these to hold murdergames so even if I wanted to have a nice sit on some old stone I would probably be sitting in someone's spilt blood from a thousand years earlier. And I already have enough trouble with this uniform's questionable bone additions so I really don't want to add blood to that list of things-that-shouldn't-be-touching-my-clothes." He paused to take a breath.

"Clearly what I'm trying to say is, you should let me sit on your lap." Scholomance then glanced to Mont Blonc, and back to Hvergelmir, waiting for a reply. "And you might want to put a rush on that answer because my arm is starting to shake uncontrollably. Too much walking yesterday."

Mont Blonc hadn't expected so many people to gather around Celsus so quickly, which he was actually happy about - after all, it was no good to be alone at these types of things - but he didn't really look much happier for it, did he? The squire flashed his glowing friend a vibrant smile in exchange for his apologetic one and shook his head. There'd be time later, maybe, to introduce him to Scholomance - or another time, even, given the situation.

Although a glare it might have been, it would have been a lie to say that some part of him was not endlessly endeared by his fellow knight's pouting and huffing, which he knew was a little silly given how much discomfort he must have been in. Still, affection welled up warm and comfortable in his chest, vibrant in his eyes alongside concern. "No idea, " he said honestly, idly rubbing what he knew now to be his friend's uninjured shoulder. "But I can tell you I know that squire there, Mistral - she's the one that came up with the upgrades to our rings. She set me up with mine not long ago, " and he held his ring up then as though that made any kind of difference in any of this.

When Hvergelmir approached, likewise, Mont Blonc was all smiles - although he quickly turned beet red, flailing his hands dismissively in the air and shaking his head. Again; pouting was somewhat of a soft spot for him, it seemed. "N-no, no, Hver, really, I'm fine, seriously! Please don't worry about me! Scholomance is the one who - " deserves your concern, had been what he'd been ready to say.

But then, Scholomance explained about his arm, and he could see it too, and - "Oh, " Mont Blonc breathed out quickly, flashing him an apologetic look that could have either been for his lack of care or for what he was about to do. Without further pretense, he simply leaned down and scooped his fellow squire into his arms. Not the first time, not the last. "Yes, yes, let's get you a seat, " he said in a rush, his cheeks already burning in anticipation of someone looking and getting the entirely wrong idea as he moved off to get his friend settled in one of the many seats. As always, he was agonizingly gentle about the whole affair. "Better?"

Pharos looked in confusion at Celsus' answer to Triumphalis and furrow her brow. "That's silly ... the code wouldn't do that ... or I hope not. Probably just a meeting ... like last time." Her last time anyway, she'd only been when the code called and talked to them.

She spied Conchordia out of the side of her eye and bounced excitedly before bounding over to the girl. "Conchordia, it's good to see you. Come come, you have to meet the new Chronos page ... er if you haven't already."

She reached her hand smiling and ready to pull her over to where the other gathered. So much of the team and do many knight in one place! It was splendid.

Vimi noticed the green knight with symbols similar to her brothers approaching. She quickly dawned an amused smile as her brother didn't notice absorbed in watching the other around him. She assumed looking for a more familiar face.

She wondered if he would start when poked but was disappointed when he simply turned and smiled at the page. "Nirvana, it good to see you again. Did you manage to get to your wonder just yet?" He questioned but was interrupted by Vimi clearing her throat. He gave a chuckle.

"This is my sister Viminal. She just awakened recently, yes?"

She nodded to Shang, but to Nirvana she smiled, "pleased to meet you ... also I agree my brothers hair is ridiculous ... I should drag him to a barber one day."

Hvergelmir turned a sort of rosy pink at Scholomance's suggestion he should sit in her lap -- then choked on a startled protest as a very injured Mont Blanc swept the even-more-injured Scholomance into his arms and placed him carefully into a seat. She shook her head bemusedly -- the damage was, after all, already done, so there was no point in making a production out of chiding Mont Blanc for it -- then clucked her tongue with a fond smile. "Hopeless, the both of you."

She spread her hands through the air, and her stardust cloak appeared between them. "Monty, if you'll sit just there, please," she indicated the spot next to Scholomance. This done, she focused her attention on the cloak to start its flow of magic, then flicked it lightly through the air to catch a current and settle it lightly around both Saturn knights. "Keep this wrapped around the both of you for about half an hour, till the magic runs dry," she said. "According to my doctors, it's usually cut my healing time down by about a week."

Hvergelmir settled in briefly next to them, perched on the bench next to Scholomance. She brushed her fingers lightly through a long strand of his hair -- usually the safest place to touch an injured person. "You still have your wit and charm, at least, if not your fine motor control," she said with a smile.

Then, with a glance directed to the coliseum floor, she told them both, "As far as we know, there were never any death matches fought at this particular Martian coliseum. This is Olympus -- a kind of a shared Wonder for all knights, and our historic meeting hall. That scroll down in the center is the Code -- it changes shape, but so far we've always seen this piece of it start out like that, as the scroll."
