"I'll have plenty of practice with me healing." Virain said with a small laugh and a mental sigh. He wasn't sure just how his life had taken such a turn but he was happy with it. He'd grown from the little boy who'd wanted for nothing that he could name, to the adult who had everything and more. He was afraid that something was going to happen, and soon, to knock it all down. He couldn't help the small sound that escaped him when Dem swept him up into the hug that lifted his feet from the ground

"Your mamae is right Dem, time waits for no one and I'm as sure as I'll be." He reached out to brush his fingers over her cheek, "Shall we see if Aisha deems me worthy of you?"

He could feel the blush rising in his face, and had to look away else he felt his heart would burst from the surge of happiness that flooded him. He couldn't believe that he was actually doing this, that things were going so well so far. "Who am I to question a goddess?" Virain replied, voice light as he let the two settle into the boat before climbing in himself. He settled his staff into the crook of his arm before glancing at the others, a sudden thought striking him. "Am..am I allowed to bring my weapon with me? I can leave it here with Tweet otherwise." He didn't know much about the Alkidike culture, just enough to know that they would have him stripped bare before he even realized what was going on if they so desired.

He knew he was no match for them physically and he was peaceful by nature and by choice. If anything he wanted to n** any potential misunderstandings in the bud before they bloomed into problems.

Nodding Virain carefully stood and stepped out of the boat, letting out a series of sharp whistles to catch his familiars attention. The large yellow and green bird fluttered over to him, crooning gently. Rainy was pleased to see the rigging still attached and deftly strapped his staff into its holder just under Tweets wing. "We're going to see Aisha." He murmured, scratching Tweet just under one large blue eye. "You can stay here if you want or you can follow us. I'll have Dem and Maha to watch out for me if you stay."

Tweet let out a low warble and a few soft clicks before bobbing his head and fluffing up. Virain laughed and patted his cheek, then headed back to the boat. He got himself settled in before saying, "He wants to stay here. I'm hoping we won't have any problems and if we do, then I shall bear my part of the burden." He looked at Dem, "After all, we're in this together are we not?"
