He was delighted at the prospect of going to Zena, he wanted to see it so bad, ice was the favorite part of his heritage even though he didn't know that much about them yet. They were blue and he liked blue. He had heard there was a way to change your crystal colors too, he thought he might like to turn his blue in honor of ice. As for professions. "I'm undecided as of yet, Mom and Dad both had twin swords but I don't think that is the way for me. I want to do something with critters I think I'm just not sure if I want to be a beast tamer or a rider. I think a spear is cooler then a whip but then you only have one mount, beast tamers get to have all the things." He spread his arms wide. "So I just don't know yet. The Dad of the family I'm staying with is gonna be a rider, and he has huge muscles." As if that was a good indication that the rider class was a good choice.

Drexl blinked. "I heard of Riders. I think I might seek out to be one. I like the Radaku who watches over us." he smiled over at Pyre. "That and I heard of other bigger things that can carry even our Daddy!!!" he looked at Lixes. "....and Daddy's huge." He looked around then. "I think we have some blue crystals...one person said that our crystals were Rainbow. I don't know how to feel about that." he looked back at Jerami silently holding his hand. He squezed the other's hand before he looked at the other two boys. "Why don't we try to find those frogs. If we find them. You two have fun...I'll be lookout in case something bigger comes by." It was a weak excuse to not touch one of those things.

Jerami's antennae gave a thoughtful twitch as he thought that over. What did he want to do when he got older? He'd thought about it from time to time, though not seriously since he was still little, and tended to always come up with a blank. He had Bruin, and Kinfa got really bit, so maybe he could be a rider too? An interesting thought, since it meant being among other riders, but at the same time he didn't think it was what he wanted to do. Giving a shake of his head he said, "I... don't know what I want to do yet... but luckily we still have time." Lots of time for him to try to figure out what he wanted to do. It really made him curious if either of his sisters knew yet themselves, something he'd have to ask them about.
"Hm? Rainbow crystals?" He murmured, giving the two brothers each a once over, then nodded. He could see that. They did have various pretty colored crystals, which was rather neat in Jerami's eyes. Lifting an arm he looked it over. He only had the one color of crystals, that being the blue ones, but he liked them well enough. Looking away from himself and to Drexl he listened as the boy said that they would try to find the frogs, but he'd leave it to Lixes and Arron to catch them. Drexl it seemed was volunteering for look out duty, "I will help Drexl!" He said quickly, hoping it would get him out of holding any of the creepy frogs.***** "Two possible riders, huh? Well, if you two get some big beasts it would make a trip to Zena a lot easier on us. They can can carry everything, us included, and help us make good time to our destination." It would be a breeze if you asked him! Blinking a couple times Lixes looked himself over at his brother's comment, then smiled, "Well, it's bound to happen that we would have some weird features cause of our mixed blood." They had rainbow crystals, Alkidike markings, various hair colors, and different skin colors, "Mother Aisha had fun when she was coloring the lot of us I bet." He said with a chuckle. Amused over the idea of the Goddess going about coloring them as though they were each a canvas for her to color any color she felt like coloring them. "Alright! Let's get going! We don't want to leave those derpy frogs waiting for us. Arron, you're on hunting duty with me, Drexl and Jerami can be our look outs alongside Pyre. Last thing we want is another rampaging maglardilla on our hands."

"I think rainbow crystals would be awesome! Not just pink like mine." He prodded some of his crystals, they made him look like his mother quite a bit. He wasn't sure where Dad even had his crystals. If he had any at all. If he were a rider, what would he ride? "What all can be used as a mount again?" He asked pondering this. It was a conundrum and he felt like he should be further along to deciding by now, but he wasn't. "A lookout is a good idea! Brilliant actually. And two sets of eyes are better then one. I can help catch the froggies..it will be good practice for me I think!" He smiled happily. How fortuanate was he to have been found by this mini marauding group. They were safer in large numbers and better able to explore than he could ever have done just by himself.

Drexl nodded, glad Jerami didn't mind he was holding his hand. Glad that he didn't have to go near those creepy frogs. Glad that they made a new friend. Smiling he chuckled at the musings of the others. "I like Jerami's blue stones and yours as well Arron. Everyone has their color for a reason." He looked at his little brother. "I think you have a point there Lixes. Mother Aisha must of had fun coloring us. Maybe she wanted to prove a point?" He shrugged, not going to think too hard on that one...but for now it was fine as it was. He was here with his friends, his family...they were all okay. His little world wasn't shattered. He hummed. "I think there are bigger things than Radaku's our bother has a Mammu...she's small now but suppose to get really big!!" He looked around. "We should find water...frogs like water..."

Eh? Jerami's eyes went a bit wide as Drexl said that he liked Jerami's blue stones. Flushing a little he said, "T-Thank you! I like your rainbow stones too!" He said, giving him a smile, smiling as the two brothers talked about how Aisha had fun 'coloring them' which he bet was a lot of fun for her to do. Just look at them all after all, all the different designs from their markings, the colors of their crystals, even the fact that Jerami and his sisters had two colored hair.
Other things that could be used as mounts? Jerami looked down at the ball of feathers that was Bruin and he gave him a gentle pat on the head before he said, "Kinfa can be ridden... once they get bigger at least." He was a little uncertain about the idea of Bruin growing into a giant bird but he hoped that by the time that happened that Bruin still loved him and didn't want to just fly away to find a girlfriend or something. That was possible, but the thing he hoped didn't happen. Drexl mentioned Radaku, like Pyre, and something called a Mammu which was supposed to get really big too, "Seems there are lots of different mounts. I bet it's hard to pick, huh?"
As Lixes started to lead the way he followed along after their self appointed leader, one hand clinging tightly to Drexl, carrying Bruin with the other. He would do his job of keeping an eye out for danger with Drexl and Pyre! He'd do his best!***** Lixes looked over at his brother, then laughed, "Yeah, she was proving a point, that she could use every color in the rainbow on one set of kids, no problem! Point well proven I feel." He gave a smile before he looked over at Arron, "Don't worry, your crystals are cool too, even if they are 'just pink'." "Alright, let's see about finding some... oh!" Lixes stopped fast, his eyes going wide, spotting something pretty. It wasn't a frog though, instead it was a brightly colored, glittering bug. He starred at it for a long moment then shook his head to clear his daze, "Look! Look! A nondwa! Oh man, that is so cool! Want to try to catch that instead?" It was rather big, wasn't it? It was in fact almost as big as the lot of them meaning that it wasn't going to be easy to catch like the frogs might have been but it looked so pretty! He just wanted to hug the fluffy, glittery creature... though it might end up covering him with its dust. Still, it could be fun. Looking at the others he waited to see what they thought of the change in 'prey' as it were or if they still wanted to continue to search for the frogs.

Arron stalked closer to the creature, he wasn't sure bug was a marked improvement over frog. He knew his mother hated bugs, she had had a bad experience with the bug people and that hadn't changed her creeped out feelings about bugs at all. He had yet to form much of an opinion of them himself, he liked beetles well enough but this was a big bug. Ick. Still how would he know for sure if he didn't at least poke it. "Alright if you think thats a good idea, they don't look as scary as a bug that big should be, kinda..pretty even." He didn't think he was going to like them though. Mom had some good ideas and probably the bug one was well warranted.

Drexl blinked at the large fluffy bug. Oh...wow. He looked at the others. "I don't mind a change in goals. Nonwanda's are pretty!!!" He liked them a lot more than those frogs. He almost wanted to see about getting one, like it would be a good napping pillow. Right? He looked at Arron...smiling. "Still going to keep lookout though. You two have fun..."

Jerami's attention went from just looking around to focusing on the bug that Lixes had found. It was a rather big creature, but at the same time pretty. It was a nice emerald green color, with markings that were a nice, bright yellow, making them stand out well. He found its size intimidating but the colors lovely, leaving him a bit torn on what he should be feeling at the moment. Should they mess with it? Would it be alright? Would it be upset with them all chasing it around? Everyone else seemed to be fine with the idea so he should be as well, right?
"If you guys want to try then we can." He said finally, deciding that between a nondwa and a spitorog that he would much rather catch one of these. At least they looked fluffy and soft whereas the frogs were prickly and scary. Yeah, he'd much rather deal with this one.
As Drexl announced that he'd still keep a look out he said, "I will too... though if you guys catch the nondwa I want to pet it!" It sounded like something rather exciting to try out, something he'd try once. Only once though since he didn't exactly want to upset the big bug. Last thing he wanted was a grouchy nondwa trying to carry one of them off or something.***** "Alright, since everyone seems to be in agreement." Lixes said, clapping his hands together before he went forward toward the nondwa, hoping that if he were to approach slowly that he would be able to get his hands on it. He wasn't exactly sure how to go about catching the bug given its size but he'd figure it out once he got closer. As he got within range that he thought he might be able to catch the creature it suddenly pushed off the ground with a great flap of its wins, its colorful dust going in all directions as it took to the air. Lixes gave a squeak of surprise as he found himself sprinkled with the glittery substance that seemed to give him a faint sheen the same color as the nondwa, "Oh.. wow! Look, look! This is so cool!" He said, waving his arms for the others to see. After that he was instantly chasing the the bug in hopes of getting some more of its glitter on him. It looked really neat and Lixes instantly saw it as a bonus to getting close to the creature. (( If either of you two want your younglings to get sprinkled too go ahead! I am sure the nondwa kicked up a bit of a dust cloud when it took off. ^_^ ))

Arron coughed a bit on the dust, but his mother had told him never to do anything half way ..even if it was a bug he was sure. So he took off after the nondwa trying to get in front of it and or catch its feet..hopefully it wouldn't take him flying. He nearly crashed into his fellow chaser at one point but managed to dive out of the way, getting another coat of green dust for his troubles. "Hnng." He grunted raising his head to look at the chaos and wiping some of the wet moss from his face. "Get it!" he cheered. If Lixes caught it he wouldn't have to, which would be cool with him. He would have to brush up on his bug chasing skills but he thought he would start with the beetles instead of the big winged flyers, a beetle he could probably ride and it took them longer to try and fly then the butterflies.

Drexl watched the other two as the creature dusted them. The small lithe child smiled at the patterns he saw on the creature. He looked to Jerami. "Its okay. I'm right here." he smiled before letting out a yelp as the confused creature dusted him as well. He blinked... "Oh great...now I sparkle."

Jerami lifted his hands up, as though he could fend off the cloud that rolled over them. He lowered them, blinked a couple times, then gave a little giggle when he realized that they'd gotten covered in glitter by the nondwa as it escaped. He blinked a couple times, then looked himself over, "Huh..." They'd gotten glitter coated and while Drexl didn't seem as though he were all that amused by it he couldn't help but smile, "It's pretty though, Drexl." He said, holding his arms out to the sides to show off that Drexl wasn't the only one sparkling now. Nope, all of them were coated in the stuff, though maybe Jerami might be the only one to find it pretty?
Turning his attention back to the nondwa itself he watched it as it fluttered along with Lixes chasing after it, seeming to be trying his best to catch up to it. He was only a few steps behind, though maybe a little too far below it to actually be able to grab it? Hard to say though. Lifting his hands up to his mouth he called out, "You can do it, Lixes!" He wasn't sure if he could but he should cheer him on, Lixes was his friend after all.***** Turning his head Lixes glanced toward Arron first, giving a smile, then to Lixes, smiling brighter, before his attention went back to the insect that he was chasing. Now, to see about capturing it! He scrambled along the ground, hopped over a couple roots, and then jumped up to wrapped his arms around the nondwa... and found himself floating there. It seemed as though his weight wasn't enough to pull the big bug down. Blinking his mismatched eyes a couple times Lixes muttered, "Uh oh..." This wasn't good. Looking to the other boys he called out, "Hey! Guys! Come help!" Hopefully before the nondwa tried to fly away with Lixes still hanging off of the creature. The longer he held on the further away the creature was meandering, not to mention the more and more glitter he was being coated in. Soon enough he was going to end up completely coated so completely in it that he'd become glitter colored...

Arron figured he had better save Lixes from his fluttery fate so he scrambled to catch up and grabbed the other boys ankles slowly dragging all three of them down with his weight. "Well now we have it," he said lying on his belly still holding the other boys ankles, "What are we going to do with it?" He felt his little belly with one hand, had he been eating too much? No it had been both their weights he was still scrawny because he was growing. He grinned and replaced his hand. Staring up with dark eyes to peer at the dust machine flapping away above his and Lixes head. His mother would have to scrub him for hours in the tub. How sad another bath.

Drexl blinked as his brother was saved from being nearly carried off. Rushing over he looked at the creature which had started to slowly stop flapping its wings. "You tired it out! Ah...Lixes, Arron isnt' this a little mean?" he looked down at the poor thing. "What if we tired it out to the point where it can't run from a predator?" He looked back to Pyre thinking that the Radaku would love nothing more than to eat the Nondwa. Blinking a few times Drexl looked back down. "I think we should take it home with us. Let it rest up and then let it go." He brushed off some glitter. "That and we need baths."

A squeal of surprise escaped from Jerami's lips as the nondwa started to flutter off with Lixes in tow. It was something that had his eyes going wide, mouth agape, before he turned to Drexl to see what he thought they should do. Before he could ask though Arron jumped into gear, rushing over to catch hold of Lixes by the ankles dragging both him and the nondwa to the ground where it seemed to give up. The attempts to fly off with Lixes must have been too much for it he thought to himself.
Turning to look at Drexl, listening closely as he talked about how it was 'a little mean' and that it might get eaten by a predator now. Blinking a couple he said, "I don't want it to get eaten." He murmured, then gave Drexl a happy smile, "You'll take it home with you? Wow! You're really nice, Drexl." Of course at the mention of how after they got home they were going to need baths he looked himself over, "Ahh... yeah, I guess so... though I like it." The glitter was pretty to him, so he wasn't in as much of a rush as the others to get rid of it.***** Lixes remained laying on the ground for a moment, holding onto the nondwa, working on catching his breath. Only once he had did he slowly sit up, looking at the bug that he'd managed to catch with the help of Arron. Giving a smile he turned to look at his friend and said, "Thanks for the save! I thought was gonna be carried off!" He was glad that wasn't the case. His parents would have been so displeased if he'd gotten himself dragged off by a moth of all things. Shaking his head he turned to look over at Drexl and Jerami for a moment, then back to the nondwa, before he gave a slow nod of his head, "Ahhh... well, I suppose we can bring it back. We just have to explain that it only wants to stay for a little while." If the creature made a mess their parents weren't going to be too pleased though so they wouldn't probably have to keep it outside, huh? Pushing himself up to his feet Lixes set to brushing himself off for a moment before giving up, realizing the dust wasn't going anywhere, "Hrm... guess I am stuck like this for a bit." He muttered, mostly to himself. Turning to the others he said, "Alright, let's see about picking it up and carrying it back then!"
