"Hrmm, St Mags for me. I wasn't very good at following the rules when I was younger."
For that matter, she still wasn't, but Cordy didn't need to know about that. Stretching a little, she rested her chin on the backs of her hands.
"Dad had a trust fund set up for me. I need money? Just call the nice little man in charge of maintaining the stupid thing. I'm honestly glad to not have to talk to the slimy little git anymore."
Bindhi went silent for a moment as her stomach loudly demanded to be fed. Attacking the waffle in front of her, she focused on not looking like a starving animal. And after a moment, she sighed again, this time in contentment.
"You make good waffles. And no worries about your dad. I won't tell him where you work. So," she continued, after taking another bite. "Assuming I can keep all this down, we going shopping or what?"
Now that she was clean and her head and stomach were behaving themselves to some degree, Bindhi's naturally buoyant spirits seemed to be returning as well.

"Assuming you can keep all of that down I'll throw on something comfortable and we can go wherever you want." She flashed the other young woman a grin. "Promise is a promise, right?" It was much easier to deflect the conversation to the topic of shoptherapy than it was to continue giving too much away. Any information could become too much information could turn into a risk if any of the dark clouds she'd been talking to decided to turn against her.

Still inhaling her food, Bindhi nodded agreeably. She was reasonably sure that the food would stay where it belonged. If she had been about to puke, it would have been when the food smells had hit.
Better safe than sorry, though.
So, she thought quickly, assuming my body behaves, where do I want to go?
"The mall has a decent variety of shops to wander through. And it's all indoors anyway. That work for you?"

"Sounds like a plan." She nodded with a smile, finishing off the rest of her tea and setting the mug down on the counter before pushing off of it so that she could take a step towards Bindhi and the table. "I'll go get myself cleaned up, then. Get yourself a Gatorade out of the fridge when you're finished and I'll be right back out." She smiled, leaning down to brush a light kiss to the other woman's temple before slipping out of the living room to head back to her bedroom.

"Yes ma'am," Bindhi chuckled softly before freezing in place as Cordy kissed her temple. She sat still for a moment after the other woman had left the kitchen before her hand reached up to brushed against the spot in mild confusion.
Quietly, she polished off the rest of the waffle before getting up and taking her plate to the sink. It would be rude to try and wash it with Cordy in the shower, but she could at least try to tidy up what she could. Only then did she pad to the fridge and grab a gatorade, cracking it open and chugging.
She kissed me. She kissed me. Okay, it wasn't on the lips, but it was still a kiss and part of her couldn't help but feel guilty about it. And about the fact that she wouldn't mind more.
With a sigh, she went back to her seat and sat down, sipping at her drink and wondering how on earth life had gotten so complicated.
