There was a stirring nearby and the vines shifted, detaching themselves from their surroundings and revealing themselves to be another strange creature, standing up tall and shaking its head with a low guttural growl. As it broke away, it turned out to be a large feline, tail curling behind it.
Zar wasn't really in the mood to share his human and sighed and rearranged his lapels, stepping forward to shake his head at the guardian.
"Not today I'm afraid." he said.
And with a jolt of movement and a swirl of black fear, he leapt, shifting into his natural form as he seized the thing by its scruff in his long vicious teeth and flung it right across the clearing with a sound that was certainly not one any normal creature had ever made.

Rodney got an incredulous look from Zar, even with a mouthful of flailing hissing guardian and he slung his coils around the other creature, viciously slamming it to the ground long enough to ******** inssstead?"
He bit again. "I'd prefer that too."

The cat twisted around and dug its thorny talons into his tail and he let out a very pained hiss as he lashed out himself, managing only to fend the attacks off a little.
"What then?" he asked. "Everything else is DULL."
He found himself pinned to the ground himself with the creature trying to bite behind his horns. "AND DON'T, ACTUALLY HELP OR ANYTHING."
He muttered something very rude about humans in latin.

"Isn't it?" Zar said in a voice that was very strange coming from a large slavering nightmare creature.
"Everything isss about pleasure. Humans always get that wrong alwayssss, scared to celebrate their own little temple. I bet you'd like pleasure, if you tried it."
He twisted his tongue about the thrashing pinned creature's throat and rolled it onto its back, pinning it with his hips before ripping the foliage of its throat clean out.

He expected the human to keep with him as he led on but this forest was so difficult to control, finding himself at the edge of a very high pit before he knew it.
He really hated faeries.
