Username: Ember-babe Nightmare: Hexen Prompt Answer: Hexen felt there was a lot of this going around lately. People asking or requiring you to be or think or act like someone or something else. She couldn't quite wrap her head around why the teachers seemed to be forcing the issue so much. Was it their way of trying to enforce cultural awareness? It seemed a bit obvious. She knew the drill, at any rate. Might as well fake it and get it over and done with. If I could undergo a magical girl transformation and turn in to a Daydream, and got stuck that way ... I'd probably choose to become a Dryad. They seem like they're pretty down to earth and relaxed people. I feel like I'm pretty laid-back myself, and they never seem like they're in a rush, which I can definitely get behind. I also really dig some of their racial traits, like the coloured sclera and the bark arms. I think I'd make a pretty cool looking dryad, what with my markings at all. I think I'm the right colours anyways, but. Then again, I don't know how my mutation would translate for them. Luckily it's a small one, so most people don't notice it anyways. But I do ... I think I'm one of the few kids who actually digs their defect? If I had something a bit more garish and noticeable I think I'd be a bit more self-conscious ... I wonder what sort of mutations Dryads have. I'll be curious to see what happens if and when people are dumb enough to wake their kids up in October.
Hmmmn ... maybe when I have kids I should wake them in October.Hexen had completely trailed off and go off on another line of thinking entirely. But, someone waking up and changing races ... ? Kinda Freaky Friday-esque. That could be a good book ... she'd have to start working on a draft for that one later.

Username: Gin Rin Nightmare: T'kani Prompt Answer: T'kani hesitated to turn over the graded poem. It was pretty simple and followed the correct metering, but didn't really have any substance to it, just a simple tale.
Taking a deep breath, she turned the paper over, eyes immediately focusing on the grade. A passing grade! Barely, but it would do for now. She had never been that great with this sort of thing, but a grade meant a starting point, something she could improve upon with time.

Username: Koiasi Nightmare: Odessa Prompt Answer: Odessa was a bit nervous. She loved writing stories, but poems weren't exactly her forte. She anxiously read over her poem about a million times before it was her turn to read it in front of the class. She drew in a deep breath and was finally glad when it was all over. She quickly sat down, hoping no one laughed.

Username: Koiasi Nightmare: Pandora Prompt Answer: Ah, man! This was her jam! She didn't usually write poems, but it wasn't all that different from songs and she wrote tons of them! This assignment was a piece of cake! When it came to her turn to present her poem, she stood up and recited it with the same confidence that she had when performing a piece on her guitar.

Username: Midnightglow18 Nightmare: Aiday Prompt Answer: Aiday imagined a world of her own, everything would be peaceful. There wouldn't be any loud sounds that frightened her. She then wrote. "In my world, the skies would be clear most days of the week so I could gaze at the millions of stars that would be in my sky. My world would be peaceful, there would be no wars, no loud noises that frighten people." Aiday thought dreamily of her oh world. Then, she wrought "My world would be similar to the above, with sunlight during the day and lots of pretty flowers and cute animals." Aiday had always been a gentle soul, she didn't like violence or loud sounds. "Also in my world there would be a lot fewer people, too many people make me nervous." Aiday wrote biting her lip. She hoped her paper would be ok, Aiday was always worried about what others around her thought, one of the other reasons she wanted a world that was quiet and peaceful.

Username: Lural Nightmare: Nashira Prompt Answer: Public speaking was not her strong suit. Nashira was nervous as she had to read a poem she wrote. Her hands were trembling as she spoke. The teacher had to remind her a couple times to speak louder. Her poem was at least decent enough, rhymed and had a proper meter. At least she didn't fail. She received a passing grade, but she needed to work on her public speaking skills.

Username: Koiasi Nightmare: Odessa Prompt Answer: Odessa was apparently more nervous than she thought she was. When all eyes were on her, she felt herself freeze and she was unable to deliver the poem the way she knew she should. Public speaking was never her forte and she had always failed at it. She honestly just wished she could turn the paper in instead of reciting it to the whole class.

Username: Koiasi Nightmare: Odessa Prompt Answer: Once she had finally gotten over her stage fright, she drew in a deep breath and managed to deliver a much better dialogue. She was thankful that she managed to do it without much stuttering and slid back to her seat, glad that it was finally over. She really didn't want to have to do that again.
