"We aren't just going to stay here!" Sakhile said a bit huffily; "We're on our way to Oba!"

"Gonna visit my grandparents and see what my people's land looks like." Alos said as well.

"And then we go to Matori to see mine!" Brenshen grinned.

"See? An adventure!" Sakhile grinned at Phaedra. "And why would you want to avoid people? People make things interesting!"

Saki tilted his head... stealing her cooking? That didn't sound right but people had secrets. Maybe she was running from a lover or too annoying suitor? She was cute enough... or maybe she was on the run for banditry! That'd be even awesomer!

"We want to learn and have fun and adventure! Walking a path already trod will only lead us where others have gone." He smiled. "We wish to see new things and make our own trail so we need to walk the less traveled paths."

"Or no paths at all!"

"I rather like the idea of making our own trail." His friends pipped up.

Sakhile did not think of the danger; merely the paths and fun he was to have in the future... The people he'd meet,the things he'd see... the stories he would get to tell.

"We won't steal your cooking, or at least not too much of it! Dowant to travel with us?" He offered with a big smile. Maybe having someone who could fight would be useful... since the roads were proving more dangerous than he'd thought. "You're better at fighting than we are; perhaps you have some tricks to share? And more friends are always welcome!"

Sakhile was a firm believer in that if you got them to laugh you could be friends; "Well.. I think we just had grand plans and jumped on it without too much thought." He chortled; "Plans never really survive anyways so why not just live a little and let the wind dictate where we go?"

He paused a moment. See things different? "Its possible.. but our stories will still be similar to everyone else's... better to see new things so there are new tales! I mean.. if so many people keep walking the same area thy've probably seen most things." he sighed. "I'll walk the old treaded paths after I have seen new things. Or am returning home. I know they'll be new to me, but I want to see things no one has seen... or at least not a lot of people have seen."

"We are headed to oba... Just came from Neued in fact.... and sure you can teach us! Mother says that teaching others often teaches you things. And you know more than we do for certain." He responded to her comments with an amused glint in his eyes.

Sakhile felt a little let down; it would have been nice to travel together! "A pity it's in the opposite direction!" He sighed and looked at his friends.

"Guess we'll keep going.. and will be a bit more wary of bandits! Maybe we'll run into eavh other some later day!" He said as they headed out; no sense in staying near where those men could follow; and she had places to go apparently. Pity.
