Location: The Hotel, Hyperborea of Cosmos

Hyperborea had received the message right as she was sneaking out of her dorm to go on patrol. She didn't need any convincing to answer the request, if the negaverse was hurting civilians then she would do anything in her power to put a stop to it and make sure the agents involved paid for their transgressions.

Unfortunately the note didn't give any specific location so she went to the first place she could think of that fit the description of where they probably were, a soon to be open hotel. It's opening had been delayed so it would make sense if the Negaverse decided to use it as a base of operations.

She reached the hotel and didn't feel any chaos auras but not wanting to risk the fact that they might have a guardian cat masking their auras she began searching the hotel physically after smashing a window to get in. Thanks to her increased speed she was able to move through the hotel much faster than a normal person but it still took some time. She listened at the doors to see if anyone was inside the room but she had no luck, each empty room she found only dampened her spirits.

She was starting to think that the negaverse wasn't here.

Sailor Nephthys: Location the Hotel.

Normally she wasn't the sort to do things which she deemed creepy buuuuut this was to help someone else. To help someone else the senshi of vampires was willing to check out a creepy hotel and see if she could find anything which could help the Chronos knight in his endeavor to find these missing people. She couldn't imagine if a family member of hers was to go missing, she knew she'd do almost anything to find them.

Walking down the hall, she'd gotten in using the backdoor which she'd broken, she was trying to walk slowly and on tip toes to lessen the sound of her heels. It wasn't that anyone was here, hopefully not anyway, but she was being cautious and this place just seemed like something you could use as a set for a horror film.

That wasn't to say the place was dark, or run down, not by any stretch of the imagination! The place was brand new and just hadn't opened yet, they'd have to fix that back door first, but the utter silence and lack of people or any sort of lights made it a perfect fit for some horror movie with people running around and a killer on the lose. The thought alone had her shuddering as she kept her hands out to her sides and dark blue eyes wandering around as if she could see through the walls on either side of her as she headed down a service hallway past the kitchens, as a peek in the window of a door told her it was a big kitchen. Shaking her head, curls bouncing and swaying, she let her finger tips gently touch one of the walls as she passed other service areas. One room seemed to have a big laundry room and another seemed to have all the clean laundry just waiting to be brought up to rooms. This place would be nice once it opened, right now it had her utterly creeped out.

As much as she wanted to turn tail and leave, not run, she held her ground as she knew this was for a good cause! This was to help find missing people and how dare the Negaverse kidnap people! Not that they hadn't done so before, remembering back to new years and that whole incident, but this person wasn't powered! These were civilians and while they shouldn't be kidnapping anyone civilians were worse in her eyes. Shaking her head and huffing she had to refrain from stamping a heel on the ground in order to vent out her sudden rush of feelings.

She could feel auras similar to her own, one with more power though, somewhere in the building. So she wasn't alone? That was good, that made her feel better. She didn't go running toward them though, didn't shout, she headed in that direction calmly and slowly.

BIFROST SQUIRE OF CHRONOS, THE SCHOOL

She answered the call because Bifrost was not going to let the Negaverse take twenty innocent people hostage. She also happened to answer the call because she was loyal to Celsus, and it was he who had sent the mass text out. If she was completely honest, it made Bifrost feel important and wanted. Wasn't often something she felt outside her grandmother. She hoped she could be someone Celsus could depend on, not just as a fellow Chronos knight, but as a friend too.

While she wanted to stay by his side, and help protect him directly, the squire dutifully went to the school. She was nothing if not a dutiful person when it came to her job, and civilians were in danger. Her personal feelings could, and would, wait for a better place and time.

There was, unfortunately, nothing there when she got there. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary, which made this a deadend. Bifrost sighed softly, and penned off a short message to Celsus (she still liked using pen and paper, even with the new upgrades).

kuropeco
School's a dead end, nothing out of the ordinary here.

Her message delivered with a press of her signet ring, she decided to look around and investigate, just to be sure.

SUPER SAILOR METIS - THE SCHOOL

She'd been startled to feel the pull of her cellphone in that hammer space. Yet Lilith had transformed when she was able, summoned her phone when she was able, and was intrigued to hear the digital reader declare whom it was. A familiar name at least, though not a personal call in the slightest. Her stomach had done flips when she heard the content of the message. More kidnappings. Though they weren't senshi and knights this time, it was still alarming. And people called them the terrorists?

Metis had gone to assist in the search, and she hadn't tried to reach out to her teammates this time. There was a silence there for a long period, something she was doing little to amend on her own. Her patrols were turning solitary, something she realized would be frowned upon... yet she saw no harm in.

At least this time she found herself in familiar company as she got to the incomplete school. Her steps were hesitant, cautious, mind's eye trying to scan the debris outlined by her own energy, and the energy of those whom might have been around her, to try and make sure she didn't trip over anything. Though at one point, she did give up and pick up a long, slender board she could use as a makeshift walking stick, using it to tap here and there as she walked to make sure she wasn't going to stumble over tools. Her vision was only of so much help when it came to inanimate objects.

When Metis approached one figure, she tilted her head a little, taking in the shape of the figure, and the features outlined by their energy for their outfit as she got close enough. A slow smile stretched across her face as she reached out with her free hand, tapping her fingers lightly against a bare arm. "Excuse me. Kairatos, isn't it?" She was at least pretty sure he was the Knight she'd met on his motorcycle. "I take it no signs here?"

At least she wasn't sensing anything around the school, though she could have easily missed any written notes or graffiti or... anything that wouldn't be outlined by her second sight. Still, she kept turning her head slowly this way and that, trying to keep track of the various figures that weren't blocked by the floor, or walls, or other such obstructions. All copper, no Chaos energies on her radar.

Quote:
TRAIN YARD (Sailor Altair)

Sailor Altair was now presently walking around looking for kidnapped persons in a train yard seemingly all alone, well, aside from being in the company of stray dogs and cats here and there. And she could not decide whether she was relieved or not about this current situation of there being no one else around as opposed to there being others around. It would probably be clearer to her if she knew whether any others around were allies or foes. Then, she can likely say she is either thankful or fearful.

She has been fumbling through all this so far, she observed about herself. After learning she was also Sailor Altair, Elysha had become more mindful of listening to magical rumors in more depth. This was a serious and scary business, more so than she initially thought, before she discovered her powered side.

Even today she was fumbling. She had started thinking that she needed to come to terms more with her actually having this second identity as Sailor Altair, that she was now stepping into something big and intimidating and dangerous whether she was all in or not. And she was probably going to survive better in finding herself amidst all this if she improved her survival skills by training herself to fend off threats at least in self defense and then if she can protect others she will give it a shot with all she could muster. Since she learned she was Sailor Altair, insecurities took the opportunity to muscle there way for a chance on this stage and Elysha was not finding it a simple task to take part in the war inside herself either.

And then she received the message she did, the one she fumbled with her phone to access in nervous alarm. And here she was now. What was she doing?! Was she in her right mind? She probably was not at all or at least in part, given that she had opted to go about attempting this impromptu mission as the newbie magical person she was. Elysha, er, Sailor Altair, gah, either or, paused her steps for a moment and took a deep breath in and then exhaled that breath out slowly. Was she shaking? She hoped not. She wrapped her arms around herself for a moment to rub them as she told herself it was just slight chills from finding it a bit cold out at the moment. Then, she resumed her endeavor to try to contribute some assistance to the rescue of those missing, while continuing to fight insecurities and think of what choices, modifications, or further considerations she could act on to be more effective at this along the way.

However, perhaps she might end up being more of a burden than help, her insecurities struck again. She probably should have tried to meet with other rescuers who were magical before starting to search in this train yard that has turned out to be quite a maze. Should she turn around? Should she call such a possibility retracing her steps and checking again if she missed some details that may be of importance earlier in this search of hers? Can she even find her way out of here alive?! Elysha, also known as, Sailor Altair as she was currently attired magically, began to retrace her steps as considered or reasoned with an increased pace, trying not go into panic, or more precisely, further panic.

Mistral - the dark alley
Mistral barely had time to process the senshi who'd appeared on the scene - eternal, damn near naked - when the youma burst forth from the darkness. "s**t," she said, reflexively flinging an arm across the senshi's chest all like get back!, which was stupid, because Mistral was going to beat exactly no one in a contest of strength and she should have been thinking about her own safety first.

Altruism, unfortunately, was part of the human condition. Like pimples. And halitosis.

"Let's take it out," she said, looking around for something she could use as an improvised weapon. "Maybe it's a good sign. Maybe it means we're getting close to the missing civilians." Optimism! It made the world go round.

Her eyes fixed on a discarded length of metal pipe, and Mistral grabbed it and swung for the youma as hard as she could... which was not very hard, but whatever. Every little bit helped.

Knight Kairatos of Mars - THE SCHOOL

He'd felt the brush of other order signatures crossing his path, so he wasn't as startled as he might have been when Metis put her hand on his arm, but he'd have been lying if he said he didn't jump just a hair, narrowly missing rapping his head on a scaffold he'd been investigating, and creating a small rain of dusty particles that made his nose itch ferociously.

"Oh hey, it's Mattie Murdock." Her familiar face and her strange powers were a welcome addition to the search. "How's it goin', Daredevil? Yeah I haven't seen s**t. I mean, plenty of construction stuff and lots of dust, but no signs of people. Not even a sniff of a youma. How about you?"

KERBEROS, ETERNAL SENSHI OF ASPHODEL -- BACK ALLEY

Kerberos did take a step back, when her arm swung towards his chest - it was sot of sweet that she wanted to protect him.

"I've seen scarier than this thing," he said, and he thought of Barbary, wrapped around his legs and keeping him too weak to move. Yeah, one ghostly snake-thing was nothing compared to that. "So yeah, maybe this means there's Negaverse close by." He had to hold out hope. He couldn't let some poor innocent person get hurt or corrupted.

There was a piece of wood he could use as a weapon, and he followed the Squire's example, swinging as hard as he could.

Just as a note, you don't have to only roll once! You can keep rolling for as many locations as you want, or a ??? encounter!

This portion and the Chaos side will shift Monday into the next stage!

Mistral - The youma in the back alley with the lead pipe

Mistral had seen scarier than this thing, too - as far as youma went, it seemed kind of run of the mill. Weak, even, since after a hit from her pipe and a hit from the senshi's wooden board it seemed like it was ready to give up the ghost. Another whack would probably do it, she thought, although she hadn't expected it to go down so easily. It... probably wasn't anyone's personal youma, then. Even captains were made of stronger stuff than this.

She ducked as it lashed out, the youma's claws rasping at the air where she'd been moments before. Mistral wasn't as fast as some people, but she moved with purpose. Hesitation was what would get you killed, not slowness. Not most of the time.

She swung again, connecting firmly across the youma's back, and it crumbled to dust.

Mistral looked over at the senshi. "Stick together or split up?" she suggested.

Kuropeco
Can Mistral tag along on Kerberos's next location roll, or do I need to roll separately?

The Amusement Park: Abandoned, fallen into disrepair, in complete and utter failure, the amusement park was once a shining beacon of Destiny City. Now, however, after years of no money, no visitors, and no more time to get it set up, it's essentially been abandoned. Years have passed, and there is grass and rust and decay all over the park - and also power signatures. An extremely large amount of power signatures, too many to be normal, and all of them Chaos.

Kairatos: Knight of Mars

He'd decided to stick with the blind Senshi searching, reasoning that between the two of them, they stood a reasonable chance of finding some sign of the missing civilians, even if they were hidden somewhere, though when their search across the city finally led them to this warped carnival, he was glad for her blindness because it made him shudder a bit.

Last time he'd seen someplace like this had been about the last time it made him want anything to do with anything remotely like it, and he wasn't thrilled to be here this time either. Other order signatures drifting closer, in ones, in twos... in gatherings or teams, you couldn't identify from here, he didn't know... that was a comforting feeling. Like feeling someone behind you in a dark room and knowing without certainty that whatever monsters were ahead of you, you had allies behind, but never the less.... they were the ones doing the siege here. The Negaverse had the lay of the land, they had the time and energy to know the fortifications of this place, and they had hostages... if they hadn't already converted or killed them all. This was where Metis would be invaluable, but it didn't make the prospect of storming this particular castle any more comforting, even if last time, they'd been breaking out of someplace similar.

"Great. This is... this is great." He didn't sound at all convinced of this, quite the opposite in fact, and was tempted to Summon Asterion just to feel reassured by his summons's presence. Instead he just gripped the tiny oil jar on it's cord around his neck, the heat of his hand slowly encouraging the oil inside to warm and let a hint of something pleasant and slightly spicy escape through the cork.

"You ready for this place? It's going to be a wreck...."

There would almost undoubtedly be lives lost or corrupted. Even when the Negaverse retreated, they would take lives just to remind you they could. He'd done it. Made a rude gesture at the prince of Hail and yanked the life out of someone in one quick gesture before he'd run with the rest of them.

CELSUS, KNIGHT OF CHRONOS - THE PARK

He pushed the Senshi of Salt aside, an expression of utmost anger on his face.

"Not now," Celsus hissed. "All we have to do now is find him, there's no - there's no time, he was taken by the Negaverse, and that's all I know, there are dozens of people searching, and I assume they'll let me know if something happens, but until then -

His ring blipped, Bifrost's message appearing. Celsus waved a hand in frustration and ran his fingers through his hair.

"We'll find him," he said to Eurydike, trying not to to think of the alternative, and he repeated it, as though attempting to convince himself of this fact.

"We'll find him."

EURYDIKE, SENSHI OF SALT - THE PARK

Not now? Eurydike gritted his teeth together, flashing them in a snarl that bordered on feral, unbridled rage flashing red hot in his eyes. He tried to bite it back, tried to keep his temper in check. But he couldn't quite stop himself from growling out, bitterly, as he whirled on the knight, "Taken from under your <********' nose."

Part of him kind of regretted saying it, deep down - because he knew maybe better than he was supposed to how much Tolliver meant to Fritz - but whether it was Celsus' fault or not -

Even so. He knew who was really to blame. "We will find him, " he echoed it, too, his voice strained and raw, squeezing his eyes shut briefly and trying to ground himself. It was failing, miserably - standing and waiting wasn't something Logan Hitchcock had ever done well. "So what now? - what the ******** are we doin' now? Where's no one looked yet?"
