She wondered just how Wilson did it...But the hunter's casual approach towards the entire mission was quite admirable. She steeled herself for whatever came next, detaching the small ball from her belly button ring, amused when it became her staff. Man if she could only tell her friends back home about this they would be blown away. But alas...Remember...Focus Mercedes~ She twirled her staff, resting it on her shoulders while holding it with both hands. Got it~. She did jump a little when the horsmen appeared, jumping to the opposite side of Rys, swiging her staff like a bat and maybe laughing a little when she smacked the cheek of the horse.
Welp.
Add to the fact that Wilson reminded her of the cool professor archtype in an anime and that just completes the picture. She couldnt call him sempai since he hasnt said anything ridiculous reguaring her name so she kept her mouth shut, nodding and prepping for the next attack.HP: 32/40 DMG: 3 CHG: 1/3 Boss: 96/100

How had he managed to find the cause of all this fuss? It wasn’t much, honestly. It was one part experience, one part instincts, and one part luck. There was nothing too fancy about the creature, especially when the more important thing was to take it down.
For hunters fresh out of the pod, they were decent—at least they’d manage not to miss on their first attack, and Wilson was glad for that. Now the real test was to see if they could keep up this pace, but hopefully he would be able to pick up the slack. It’d been a while, but he hoped he could force himself through this fight anyways.
Wilson pulled off his goggles and they glowed, cannons and wires sliding into place, and suddenly it felt like everything was right in the world. The physical weight was familiar, and so was the feeling of having his gasmask hang around his neck. This was it.
Dabir said nothing in his head, but he was always there, a voice that grounded him to reality. A reassuring silence that allowed him to pull back his arm and stab his blades into the horse.

The horse's whinnies were sickening to hear, particularly cringe-inducing when Wilson took a right stab at it and hit his mark. The creature galloped past, perhaps to recover some from their attacks, before it circled around again. It seemed to come straight toward him but reared for dramatic effect, giving Rhys time enough to jump forward and dig his own blade into the creature this time, rather than its steed.
Theatrics, he'd never been much of a fan until now.

Well she couldnt let the guys do all the work right? She wanted to look cool too damn it! Mercy tried to strike out with her staff again, but she missed and the monster made her hurt by having the horse kick her in the chest, sending the small girl flying back a bit. Shield or nah that realllllllly hurt like a b***h! Thats what happens when you DONT FOCUS! Pay attention and get your head in the game Mercedes! NOW! she winced and shook her head, walking back calmly despite the head ache Drae just caused.
He was right though, and she needed to focus on the task at hand before she ******** up and got seriously hurt. "Sorry!" Once more time and she could use her special against the monster for an added effect.HP: 24/40 DMG: 0 CHG: 1/3 Boss: 80/100 Syusaki She has failed sempai unu

One of the trainees managed to land a strong hit, which earned a pleased hum from Wilson as he jumped back to regain distance between him and the dullahan. The horse neighed loudly as it reared up, standing briefly on its two legs before circling around to charge toward the man.
A careful step to the side allowed him to avoid a full tackle from the horse, but that did nothing to stop the dullahan from swiping at the Death hunter. His glasses fell off, but he managed to lunge out and grab them before they disappeared into the fog. “Well,” he muttered before crouching low. He pulled one arm back, wires and mechanical parts whirring as his cannon revved up and finally released a strong, condensed shot of poisonous green gas at the dullahan.

As the creature circled back for Wilson, Rhys did his best to sidestep it as well, with moderate success. It managed to catch his arm as it passed, thwarting an attack he'd hoped to land in the process and pushing him off balance as well. Luckily he managed to recover and turn on his heels, charging and aiming his blade at the horse's side and legs this time. With each point of contact he could feel Zephira begin to hum with the energy she was now harnessing.
"Almost worth getting swatted at," he said with a grin, which was met with an amused chuckle from his partner.

Well, She was glad she wasnt on the reciving end of that powerful gun, cannon, arm....cannon....Whatever his weapon was. She watched and waited for an opening, finally finding one after Rhys managed to hit some points of the horse, wishing Drae came to her as a sword instead of a staff. A scoff was heard followed by something along the lines of ungreatful and terrible while she smacked the face of the horse with the pointy end of her staff. She was slashed at in retaliation, earning a small cut but hey whatevs.
