Calder tilted his head as if to see Zar more right side up. Despite his words, he seemed to be in a good mood. Maybe it really was the best time.
As Zar poked at his own concerns, he rose up his hands quickly. "No! No. I'm on board. Just want to - to make sure we're all in agreement. Right. Yes. And it seems we're in agreement so I agree with this agreement. I'm ... I'm good."
He pulled some hair behind his ears before following slowly between Grimhold and Barth, nerves and excitement works into a jittery mixture.

"Good. Then we all agree. You are being quite ridiculous," Barth said, irritation parting for a moment as he drew Zar's mess of hair aside with his claws and gave his forehead a brief and soft kiss.
"We don't have to hurry."
Grimhold whistled for the carriage, which shook itself in its stall and began to roll up the dirt path.
But it did have to be today.

Calder's about face on the issue seemed to amuse Zar even further. "Oh don't be good" he said, "That is a terrible thing to be."
He was about to comment on what strong hands Grimhold had to harass the other man when Barth leaned in to kiss his head. This mercifully derailed his winding up his captor long enough to give Barth a wide eyed stare and to swing an arm at him much too late to hit anything or to gain any momentum worth damage.
"I didn't say you could do that." he protested, the markings under his eyes deepening in colour.
"Calder come over here and remove this pest."

He smiled at the kiss. It was always nice to watch them, even is Zar didn't seem all for it. It was kinda cute to have Zar all limp - ok a lot cute.
At the call, Calder moved a little closer but was all around confused. He slowly pointed to Grimhold and then pointed the other hand to Barth. "Who.....is the pest?"

"Can we vote on it?" Barth asked, adding privately, "Although I do like seeing you like this."
The carriage rounded the hill, and Barth gave a long look at the step up. Grimhold was occupied. Calder was shy of the thorns.
"Perhaps you'd better help Zar in first."

"We already settled this...." Zar drawled lazily . "My vote would trump both of you as I am the boss here. The head of the housssehold.Barthh iss the pesst."
He tried to dramatically wave a claw in a gesture of dismissal before giving up immediately.
"I am not going in there." he said. "Grimhold do not be an accessory to this wanton intrusion upon my rights."

He moved to the carriage, wondering how two slouched were going to work without falling to the floor.
"I can't do anything about that pest since he is part of the agreement." Meaning Barth had to stay in order for them to go to the pumpkin patch.
As Grimhikd had Zar, Calder glanced back at Barth and pressed his lips tight.
"Uh... I can help." Calder moved inside the carriage and held his hands out to take Zar to help seat him.

Barth practically beamed at Calder when he mentioned the Agreement. "Yes," Barth said, "that's right. There's nothing to be done about it. ...I would appreciate the help, yes. Grimhold...?"
Grimhold shifted over some of the weighty incubus to Calder, which came with a flood of heavy and uncomfortable feelings that Grimhold had been dealing with the past few minutes, including affection, smugness, lethargy, indulgence, and (naturally) a great deal of arousal.
He gave Calder a very long-suffering stare over it.

Calder got a slightly intense look at the mention of the Agreement. "Well then maybe the agreement isn't fit for purposssse." And his breath hitched as the mark made itself known at even the glancing thought of genuine escape from the pact. He laughed, but it wasn't irritated. "Be careful with my tail." he said, his every hair standing on end at any contact on the slick soft skin.
It unfortunately only made the emotions Zar was absolutely radiating even worse. "Everyone is sssooo helpful when it involves following orders to make me do what I'd frankly rather not." he sighed. "Neither of you have ever felt the bite of betrayal the way I have."

Calder reached out, scooping up the large weight of Zar's usually more active tail, grasping the full reality of just how much Grimhold was carrying.
Grasping the tail as firmly as he could without letting it drop but without squeezing it hard or digging his nails in, he gasped at the wave upon wave of emotion, never at all used to it in smaller dosages. He glanced up in time to catch Grimhold's gave. It - was actually not too bad. It was better than Zar feeling the other negative emotions that Calder received via the incubi's link.
He wondered what Grimhold thought about all of it, but his look back didn't seem like it was a happy one. "Thanks for helping, Grimhold." Calder smiled back before moving to make room for Zar to be set while also setting Zar's tail down gently in what he could muster of a curl. He gave it a few gentle strokes as if to say 'there-there' and sat down.
"Do you want to sit next to me, Zar?"

Grimhold's pupils became dangerously black and swollen at the word bite.
He had so far been polite, but was frankly on edge, and it was an edge that Zar was not being very kind about. Lolling around transmitting the wispiest, most victimy sighs with the heavy rush of intoxicating emotions.
Worse, was that Zar's neck was very close and very bare and was fueled by twin hearts, which Grimhold could hear very distinctly.
As he placed Zar in the back of the carriage, he drew away quickly, taking a handkerchief to his mouth which was full of saliva and bristling with long and ready fangs.
"Thank you, err, if I could get, just a step up."
"Of course," Grimhold said, dabbing his lips a few more times with the handkerchief before tucking it away and lifting Barth into the carriage with deceptive ease.

Zar made satisfied little sounds at the kind treatment of his tail, but also at the same time gave everyone touching him significant doses of how good the contact felt to him.
He made a little disappointed sound as Grimhold briskly departed and essentially won the game he had been playing. It was enough to even dent his mood perceptibly and a little of the smugness departed at being denied, and as always this mood dip meant that he got slightly more surly.
"No." he said to Calder. "I don't want to be in this carriage at all." he said languidly. "But no one ever listens to me anyway."
He let out a slow sigh which took a long time to inhale and almost as long to exhale. He closed his eyes. "Mmm. I think I'll nap on the way over. Calder pull me into your lap I think I'll sleep there."

If Calder could radiate, he would have, beaming at Zar's request.
"Sure!" Moving over, he sat beside the incubi, feeling both pleased he was requested and delighted Zar was in such a lap-nap mood.
Holding Zar, he pulled the demon into his lap, which was - a very awkward arrangement to get him into place, but once he had him between his legs, he set him against his chest and leaned back against the carriage wall and back and started to stroke his hair. This - this was good.
This was beyond good. This was amazing.
Humming, Calder continued to stroke the demon's hair, all the while taking moments to gently fondletouch his horns.

Barth seemed slightly less relaxed than usual, although he seemed relieved when the carriage was finally on the move. His knee rested against Calder's, half-supporting Zar.
It was overcast, but Grimhold was bundled tightly, and steered the carriage this way and that with a precise flick of his wrists.
Before long they were at the spindly, iron gates and the smell of earth and hay that meant pumpkins.

Zar slept the whole way, at one point beginning to snore rather loudly and to drool on poor Calder. It was not very sexy and anyone in contact with him got the unpredictable and shifting thrum of his dreams, spiking from anger to arousal to hurt and back again as he slept. When they reached the pumpkin patch, he didn't wake up but kept right on snoozing, his snoring settled down to a contented rumbling sound somewhere deep in his chest.
