"Silver Falcon! Okay! I can call you that!"
Hadaya thought it was probably the best name anyone had ever come up with, even though he could not take credit for coming up with it all on his own. Still, he had managed to help and that was pretty fantastic! He was glad to have made a friend, too, as that was always a good thing. Even if this person was a Chaos agent.
"Yeah, I've heard enough about her to know what to look for," Hadaya eeped out, shuddering and scooting closer. He was now in Rich's lap, whether the Nega wanted him there or not, cuddling against his chest instead of staying put when Richterite tilted his chin up. He took that as an open invitation for closeness.
Hopefully Rich did not mind a bit of fur on his uniform.
He knew, though, that if Painite found out that Navi had a kitty that she loved so dearly, Hadaya would immediately become a target. And that was the last thing he wanted to be: a source of pain for Navi and her family.

He let the small cat distract him from talk of Painite for the moment, knowing that if he went down that route he'd just start feeling guilty for not seeking her out again, especially after becoming a Captain. For more than one fight they'd had each other's backs and he would always have an incredible amount of respect for the General. "If I'm Silver Falcon then you're going to need a code name too, alright? That's how code names work; they keep you safe because no one knows who you're talking about except for you, and maybe someone that you trust more than anything." He gave Hadaya a scratch beneath the chin, tilting his head towards the sky thoughtfully.

"Well I know some people call me Fail Face," Hadaya said, wrinkling his nose as he did so. He was not sure... he liked... that name, but he supposed there were worse things to be called? And anyway, it was definitely true. If it COULD be messed up, chances were he would mess it up: he was an expert in all things fail related.
Though he thought, at the very least, his face was kinda cute? Who did not like a squishy, tubby kitty?
Besides Chaonis.
He was glad he could at least tell Navi about his new friend, without her getting upset with him for talking to a Negaverse Captain! That could be his little secret for now, so he did not worry her unduly. After all, Silver Falcon here seemed to be pretty awesome.

"Hm... I think I've got one better." He grinned, giving Hadaya another light scratch behind the ears. "How about Macavity? I think it'd make the perfect code name for you, if only because no one would expect it. Do you know who Macavity is?" His brow lofted slightly as he glanced down at the feline.

Hadaya stared at him for a long time, then lit up and purred and rubbed against him like Hadaya himself had just received an incredible present.
"That is the best name ever! Much better than Fail Face! You can call me that! I mean, it is perfect! Isn't it? I mean, it is because you would not have said it if it weren't but. I uhm. Of course I know who... uh... who... is... Macavity?"
Hadaya looked embarrassed, which was a perfectly adorable expression for a fat cat to be making. He sat down heavily on his butt, still in Richterite's lap, looking up at him with one ear up and the other folded back. His whiskers were pursed forward because of the quizzical look he was trying to make, head tilted slightly to the side.
He was clearly not very well versed in musical theatre cat culture.

"It's perfect because it's a code name and code names are supposed to keep people from guessing who you really are." He straightened the feline's ear gently, still grinning as he watched him. "You see, Macavity's a Mystery Cat... He's called the 'Hidden Paw' - for he's the master criminal who can defy the Law." The way he recited the line made it seem like he either really knew his stuff, or he was impeccable at writing poetry on the spot. "When I was still in school there was a book called 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats' and we were all assigned a particular poem to recite a line from... That's the one I got." He smirked softly. "You could definitely be a Macavity, though. Sneaking that last treat off the table before anyone notices? Stealing scritches and winning over hardened soldiers?"

Hadaya listened with rapt attention. He would have to go to the library now, and look for this book, to see what it was all about. Poems were easy to read, most of the time, even if he might miss the deeper meaning of them. And anyway, poems about cats sounded fantastic!
He wondered if they were based on Mauvians, without anyone even knowing it. That would be something, wouldn't it?
"Well, I'm far from a Hidden Paw," he said with a tilt of his head and a heavy sigh. Not that he wanted to be a criminal, but being really good at something, being able to call himself an actual master of something, would be really cool.
"That does sound like me though! The last part. With the cuddles and the food! Okay! Now we have our code names, and we can be friends without anyone having to worry about it." He purred and rubbed against his new buddy enthusiastically, bumping his head constantly against the Negaverser's chest.

"All it takes is a little practice. You snuck up on me, anyways." He smirked softly, gently scratching behind Hadaya's ears once more. "Probably for the best to not let anyone worry about anything. Wouldn't want to make your people feel like they had to come track me down or anything. That said... You sure no one's missing you tonight, Macavity? Sure you shouldn't be getting back home before it gets too late?"

Hadaya was not sure he snuck up on anyone, so much as accidentally fell on his head, but he would take the compliment for what it was! It was rare that he had something to be complimented on, anyway, so he would certainly take it.
"Well, maybe my senshi will start worrying if I stay out too much longer..."
He did not really want to worry his senshi or anything, though he was sure Chaonis was probably telling her that Hadaya was fine and not to worry. Of course, Chaonis would say that even if he knew the complete opposite was true. Chaonis did not like Hadaya.
"I should probably go back. It was nice talking to you, Silver Falcon!"

"It's never nice to make a lady worry." He smirked softly as he picked the feline up, gently setting him down on the bench beside him. Hadaya had given him a lot to think about; Painite, especially. How long had it been since he had last seen the General, other than too long... "It was a pleasure meeting you. Stay out of trouble, alright? And if you ever see that general run as fast as your little paws can take you, understood, Macavity?"
