Much better. Ajicka grinned as the Quick Claw helped Fritz quickly finish off his opponent, and reached down to give him a pat on the head. "Good job, Fritz," she praised, smirking, "I'd say you're learning how to use that Quick Claw pretty well, now." She jerked her head up, though, and he blinked, having been enjoying the praise and attention. He followed her gaze, and gave a shudder as a pokemon emerged from one of the walls. He shrank back, looking up as it eerily drifted towards them, ghostly hands towering above it, and to either side. He... he did not want to feel what those hands' grip felt like....
"You've got this," Ajicka reassured, standing up straight with a determined frown, "Don't worry." He looked uncertainly at her, but then at the opponent, his Quick Claw activating and allowing him to leap forward, getting the first hit. He stumbled back as the pokemon tried to latch on, and then grabbed him, getting a scared yelp from the Fennekin as bandages shot out from its coffin insides, wrapping around him, and then dropping him down. "Don't worry," Ajicka quickly spoke up, "That's just it's ability. You're fine." He glanced uncertainly back at her, bandages still wrapped around him, then quickly spun as the opponent lurched forward to retaliate. One of its eerie hands soared down, smacking his item away, and sending him tumbling to the side, wincing in pain. Ajicka's eyes widened, and she immediately stepped forward. "Re--" she started, but a sudden flash stopped her, and she threw up an arm. Was.... Was that an attack?
She lowered her arm, her eyes wide. "... Was that Disable?" she asked, barely recognizing it. She quickly stepped forward, "Okay, Fritz, use Heat Wave!" she ordered hurriedly. The fennekin stumbled to his feet, glancing uncertainly at her, but then hopping forward, blasting the opponent with a wave of burning hot air. And blinking in surprise as it dropped, clattering to the floor, and then vanishing.

Once the Jellicent had been taken care of Huey managed to regain some type of control over himself. He thanked Beep, giving the tail-wagging Mareep a pat on the head before he returned him, and then dug out a Lum berry to help deal with Dutch's burn. He took the berry into his paw with a grateful rumble and devoured it in two bites, afterwards testing out his shoulder before grunting with satisfaction; he was good to go.
And just in time too. As if he had a sixth sense specifically designed to detect ghost Dutch lunged forward, mouth wide open, and snapped his jaws onto the inky black hands of a Cofagrigus, just inches away from grabbing hold of Dianna. He yanked his head back, forcibly pulling the pokemon out into the open and while it was still flinching delivered another Bite, this one knocking it unconscious. "...Good looking out." Huey complimented, once he'd found his bearings.

With a bit of haste Huey retrieved a potion to spray Dutch with, doing it quickly before any other ghost could appear. Dutch had gotten stronger, and with them the pokemon that had appeared, which was a bit unsettling. Ignoring it for now the boy turned his attention to other problems, like the fact that it was still pitch dark. "Dianna, could you try and find a few candles and light them?" he asked and waited until he heard a snort of compliance and the shuffling of feet moving across the floorboards. A minute passed, in which he waited patiently while his starter searched blindly along the walls for one of the candle holders, before a small spark of fire erupted in the dark and one of the candles began to glow softly. Dianna inched across the floor to the next candle and did the same again and again, and again until finally every candle in the hallway was lit and they could continue moving forward without stumbling.
Instead of turning back to head downstairs like he should have done Huey looked at each of his pokemon individually before he turned to look further down the hall. "I promised that I'd help." was all the explanation he would give before he started walking, opening each door quickly and popping his head inside to see which one was the master bedroom. Although they weren't exactly thrilled they, nevertheless, joined in the search.
It was Dutch who located the master bedroom, and in it a Banette waiting to strike. The pokemon inhaled deeply, preparing for an ear-splitting yowl, which gave him enough time to chomp down onto its arm. It used Screech, but added to the move was a yelp of pain. Ears still ringing, Dutch bit down harder. "Uncle, Uncle, Uncle!" Banette screeched, yanking its arm back violently, enough to make them both lose their balance. Dutch fell back outside of the door and with a dazed, albeit proud, look watched as the door slammed shut on its own, the sound of a lock clicking resounding out.

Huey and the group hurried quickly over to Dutch just as the Granbull pulled himself to his feet, playing off their concern with a dismissive wave and, with one paw pressed to his lower back, a playful jest that his only pain was in his aching back; in other words, he was fine. At his request they started off again, Dianna lingering when she noticed something shiny wedged between the floorboards. Her steps faltered long enough for her to snatch the heart-shaped object to observe between her claws. "It's a Heart Scale." Tybalt explained, his features not once changing even as the other jumped in surprise. "It teaches you a new move, which might help with the rest of the ghosts we have left to deal with." He tipped his head to the side, his expression turning thoughtful, before he nodded to himself. "If it's a fire-type move, it'd be especially useful against the Froslass and Pumkaboo we still have to face."
That was all Dianna needed to hear and with a firm nod she crushed the Heart Scale in her hand, knowing no other way to activate the item. A shiver ran down her spine and she huffed, a wave of warmth running over her. Besides that, however, she felt no different and decided to pay no more attention to it, there were more important things to think of. As if on cue Huey let out a startled yelp, earning four pair of eyes on his person. He quickly backpedaled to gain distance from the Gengar that had leapt down from the landing of the third floor, at the same time giving Dutch enough room to deliver a bite, repeating the attack when the unexpected attack caused him to flinch.

It was only after Huey's heart rate had returned to normal and he'd managed to steel his nerves did he brave the third, and highest, floor. Swiveling his head around, he only became satisfied when he saw no immediate danger around him. "Let's try and see if we can find this ghost before it can find us." he suggested in a whisper, not wanting a loud voice to be the thing that gave him away; though it was most likely that his presence had been noticed the moment he'd stepped into the house, the three remaining ghosts were most likely biding their time. It wasn't the most comforting thought, but it was realistic.
The floorboards creaked whenever Huey put weight on them, and practically screamed whenever Dutch put even one foot down; 101 pounds couldn't be easy on an old house like this. Despite his heavy weight he still proved to be light on his feet, and with speed surprising for one of his stature he crossed the hallway, delivering a devastating bite to the Duskull who'd phased its head out of one of the doors. He was certainly getting better at biting the apparitions, if that was even possible, as the pokemon flinched, leaving it open to another bite that sent it

After he stood up and dusted himself off Gio was surprised to see a healing station. It looked very old but there seemed to be Nurse Joy there standing right next to it. "Hello Trainer would you like to heal your Pokemon?"
"You bet!" Gio said thinking about his Burnt and Poisoned Pokemon.
"OK, please wait one moment" Nurse Joy replied as she placed five of Giovanni's Pokeballs on the healing machine. It glew and blinked three times before she removed them "Thank you please come again" Gio felt a bit of dark humor coming from her last comment but gleefully took his Pokemon back and decided to walk around for abit more.
After some time wondering the halls Gio decided it was best to equip his team a little better. He let out his Prinplup and his Aegislash. "OK you two I have a few Items for you. Prinplup, this is for you" he placed the Exp Share on its head. Pridefully it lifted its head abit higher as if it were a crown. "And for you, I feel like based off the last few battles we have had that this would be perfect for you" he handed the Aegislash the Dread Plate he had just found. Both Pokemon seemed to be very happy with the new items they were equipped with. Giovanni smilled and shot up a finger pointing at them. "Alright Time to return but don't think you won't be used anytime soon" he returned the both of them and thought about the house. He wondered how he had never noticed it before and if the place was Haunted.
Ahead of him he saw a slight green glimmer disappear around a corner and this caught his full and undivided attention. He chased after it making sure that nothing popped out of any of the doors to his sides. He was easily most concerned about the lady whom had transported him there. The same one whom had trapped him inside that room with those Eight Ghost Type Pokemon.

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Yukie would stay huddled in his little hidding spot for some times to come warming back up. He couldn't afford to stick in one place for to much longer and risk another attack but he also could just get up and leave. He had to stay put to warm back up more. He was regaining feeling in his extremity's but it was a slow recovering. He couldn't strip totally nude and go streaking through some unknown place risk pumping into people though the though had occurred to him. It would be better on him in the short term but maybe not the long haul. He would just make due.
He questioned the idea of simply making another attempt at moving forward though the rooms and looking for the main hallway or something. The last time he'd tried going any place he'd almost been killed. Maybe it was just safer in here considering he'd already cleared the room. He gave thought to this being like a game where a ghost was in each room and wouldn't attack him from another room. The idea of each room being a level of clear only aggravated him more then he already was. This wasn't a game, this was a life and death situation he was in.
In the mean time though he would do what he could to get Zorua and Murkrow back on they're feet ready for anything that was to come. Using up a few potions of them both before returning Murkrow to rest a little longer. Zorua refused to go inside the ball but had been poisoned by the Litwick. she was running a fever and was sweating. She looked tired. He couldn't do anything about it though. He had no full heals of berry's that he could use to heal her with. "How you feeling Rahvok ?" He asked the tiny fox sat in his lap. "Not great but ill make it, You ?" she asked in turn. "I'll be fine. Lets get moving." He said finally ready to move on. Gathering his cloths over his shoulder after discarding the dirty blanket in favor of his, while still yet, much cleaner blanket. After ringing it out as best her could he wrapped it around himself like a toga. He looked a fool but it was much better then being both cold and dirty.
Pushing out of the room he discovered the main hallway. He stood at the ready half expecting more ghost types but nothing came for him. Yet anyway.

Fritz plopped down with a heavy exhale, his eyes wide. WOW. That.... That had been close. He gave a softer sigh of relief and lowered his head, and Ajicka smiled, leaning down to pat his head. "That was pretty impressive," she remarked, ruffling his ears a bit. He breathed softly, but then lifted his ears up and looked at her. "Don't worry, you've earned a break," she added reassuringly, and this time he gave a sigh of relief. She stood up, looking as another pokemon appeared. She stood up, unhooking Elle's pokeball from her belt, and tossing it up to release her newly evolved Gardevoir. "You ready, Elle? It's been a while since we did much battling," she forewarned. Elle was standing proudly in front of her, swaying her body, gently twisting from side to side so that the dress around her moved elegantly through the air. 'Absolutely!' she replied, without a moment's hesitation. Ajicka smirked, nodding. Ajicka was smirking throughout the entire battle. Flinch, flinch, flinch, and flinch. It would have infuriated her if it had been happening to her pokemon, but seeing it take effect on their opponent was only making her grin. "You've been waiting to do that, haven't you?" she remarked as Elle watched the Banette flee. The gardevoir swept around, her eyes closed with a big smile on her face, and her head tilted ot the side. "I was excited to battle! It's been a while!" she admitted, then turned, looking after the opponent again, "I guess I was just able to put my all into each hit..." Ajicka's smile changed a bit. She felt... bad for not letting Elle battle. The pokemon had made it clear, though-- "Don't feel bad, Ajicka," Elle interrupted her thoughts, turning her head just enough to smile back at her trainer, "I didn't mind waiting." Ajicka frowned slightly. She still sometimes forgot how easy it was for Elle to hear her thoughts, feel her emotions, and respond so quickly.
She gave a shook of her head, but then a sharp nod. "Alright. Come on, let's see if we can find our next opponent," she urged, "And I can give you a few potions to get you back to health, Fritz." They only managed a few steps before a Haunter appeared before them, though-- but all Ajicka had to do was frown before Elle swept forward, elegantly taking it out quickly and efficiently with two attacks. There.... now they could move on.

Healing Fritz up, Ajicka continued moving along, but lifted her head as she saw another trainer, some guy, up ahead. She frowned, weighing her options on whether to actually interact or not. Finally, as she came up on the guy, she gave a nod of acknowledgement, slowing her pace slightly. "Hey," she greeted. She was looking at him analytically-- he seemed almost familiar somehow. "You here battling ghosts, too?" She wondered how many people had come here, and how many had come to be scared, and how many to battle. She had no idea some might have come not of their own free will... but thinking about it, she likely wouldn't be surprised.
She glanced down as Chimchar went excitedly bounding ahead, Fritz watching curiously, but remaining by his side. She glanced up to Elle, frowning. "Elle--""I've got it~" the Gardevoir reassured her, elegantly moving forward already, following after the monkey pokemon. The little fire starter rounded a corner, pausing as he saw someone wrapped in... a blanket? He grinned, hurrying on ahead, while Elle swept around the corner after him. Her attention shifted suddenly, though, and she turned her head, her eyes focused on nothing-- or something beyond what was on the wall in front of her. She suddenly had a... very strange feeling. A very unpleasant one....
Meanwhile, the distraction was enough for Chimchar -- he bounded over to the blanketed individual, giving a happy, "Chim! in greeting, and leaping up to cling to the blankets. His grin was toothy, mischievous, and none too innocent-- he seemed to be somewhat intentionally causing the individual grief. But what could they expect? They were wearing a blanket!

╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The sound of voiced caught Yukie attention almost as soon as they got into the hallway. He almost assumed it to be more ghost pokemon. Zorua had heard them and was ready to attack anything that came at them but being poisoned she wasn't up to much. Yukie held her in his arms cradled like a child to protect her as much as she was protecting him. He was cursing himself for not grabbing full heals and such long before now. Lesson learned.
Rounding a bend in the hall Yukie quickly became awake of two other people in the building with him. A man and a women. Neither seemed to notice him at first but a pokemon sure as hell had. A bright orange monkey with its butt on fire was charging towards him even before he had fully came around the bend. He felt a brief second of physically pain emphasizing with the pokemon unaware it was actually a fire time. Everything was happening to fast to realize such details.
Mentally he was fully aware of the people but hadn't hadf the time for his body's reactions to catch up to his thoughts. He was about to jump back around the corner to avoid being seem when he was caught broad side by the monkey. Even Zorua couldn't respond in time to prevent what came next.
The monkey lunged at Yukie's gripping the blanket and yanking them down of his body by its sheer weight along. Yukie instinctively screamed like a girl reaching for the cloth but wasn't fast enough. The monkey pulled the blanket atop itself yanking him down with it. Zorue ejected herself to safety as he came crashing down. The blanket pulled up over his head leaving him to fight for freedom while making a failing attempt to cover himself. He gave up and squatted down yanking the cover up to his chest to at least cover that part of himself.
He stared in shock at the duo. He blushed bright red form embarrassment but rage was swelling up inside and as soon as the Chimchar was free he let lose. Zorua cringed at Yukie unleashed his anger upon the poor pokemon even tackleing it back to avoid it being within Yukie reach and nodging it to go bck to its trainer. "What the bloody hell, you perverted little monster. Whats your deal.. Iv already been through hell you think its funny to make an utter fool of me too." Most of what he yellowed just came out without any thought to what he was saying. In fact most didn't really make sense as the pokemon couldn't have known what had happened to Yukie.
Once he had finished though he broke mentally curling up pulling his legs into his chest to help hide himself wrapping the blanket around his waist but pulling what he could up over his chest. Looking at the ground he cried having never been put in such a compromising situation before. He couldn't find a way to keep his secret from them. Damn that monkey he thought.

Giovanni rounded the corner expecting to see something like a Pokemon. Briefly he had seen a shadow shoot towards the ceiling but then had his attention drawn to a girl now in front of him. "Hey" he said with a joyful smile now glad to see a regular person, or so it seemed. "Well I kinda got sent here by some old creepy lady. Then I did what she told me and I was swarmed by eight Ghost Type Pokemon that were also statues." his smile turned into a slight sad cringed face.
Lucario instantly noticed the light blue Aura approaching the two. It didn't seem like an evil Aura but something was definitely different about it. It seemed strong and full of will power. He also was sensing another Aura of a copper like color slightly down the hall. This one to was a strange Aura and not the norm that Gio tended to be around, with the exception of Fey. Whom was actually named Natalia, and no one knew that in the group of friends except for him.

Elle lifted her head, seeming to come back to the present, her eyes looking around-- before she spun, drifting back, out of view, into one of the nearby rooms, her eyes quickly scanning. She could have sworn there had been something behind her... Her heart was starting to beat fast, but it felt as though it stopped when she felt a chilling stare from behind, and once again she spun, this time faced with the eerie glow of a single eye looking back. She lowered herself, readying for battle, but the pokemon was fast, and quickly lurched forward, hurling poison at her, splashing it in her eyes. Gar!" She tried to muffle the cry of pain, gritting her teeth, and lowering her arm, which she had reflexively thrown up to try and block the attack. Her eyes burned as the poison seeped in, her very blood beginning to burn, her muscles aching. She braced herself against it, though, psychic energy glowing around her, before she threw herself forward, headbutting the pokemon, hoping for a flinch. This time, though, there was no go-- the pokemon floated back from the attack, but immediately began to glow, hypnotic, confusing energy radiating from it. Elle stared with wide eyes as it seeded into her mind, and the room began to spin. She closed her eyes, shook her head, and opened them, but the confusion persisted. She wobbled, then quickly attacked, barely managing to attack the pokemon back. This wasn't good...
Ajicka was only vaguely aware of what was going on with her pokemon. She had seen her disappear into a room-- but she wasn't sure where, or why. She was keeping an eye on it, in her peripheral vision, but her focus remained on the boy before her. And in the back of her mind, she grimaced at the thought that Chimchar had rounded the corner without Elle's supervision, or her careful watch. She was going to have to go hunt him down now... She frowned against Gio's words, her brow furrowing in confusion. "Eight, huh..." She'd only come across five. She paused a moment, though, then narrowed one eye, squinting at him while widening her other in a dubious stare. "Wait.... they were statues?" she repeated. How int he hell... what? She certainly hadn't seen any of the ghosts come from statues before....
She straightened up at a scream, then deadpanned a bit when she realized where it was coming from. Her head whipped around as Chimchar tumbled back into view, a blanket-- and an individual, toppling with him. She pressed her lips into a thin line when she further noticed the person was nearly naked, and gritted her teeth. She shifted her gaze to Chimchar, who popped up, the blanket on his head, and looked at her. And then grinned. She scowled back at him. "Sorry," she uttered shortly to the girl-- or who she thought was a girl-- not quite sounding sorry at all. She was more angry, though, that her pokemon was already getting in trouble. She lifted a pokeball up, returning the mischievous pokemon. "I--"'Ajicka!' Elle's distressed voice cut through her thoughts and instantly silenced herself. She sounded horribly pained-- near tears, but clearly trying to bite through it to contact her trainer. 'I need help! Send someone!' she pleaded. Ajicka immediately reached back and grabbed Jolteon's pokeball, releasing her electric pokemon with a dark expression, nodding to her. Jolteon looked up, caught the signal, and then took off, darting past Yukie and into the room Elle had gone into. Ajicka stared at the doorway a moment, then looked back at Yukie. "Are you okay?" she asked, still frowning. There was no way Jolteon wouldn't be able to handle the situation-- but she didn't really like not knowing what condition Elle was really in.

While Ajicka was tensely dealing with the two individuals in the hallway, Jolteon was standing at the ready against yet another electric pokemon. "Where are they all coming from?" she asked Elle, who was sitting, leaning tiredly against a wall. 'This is a haunted house,' she replied warily, 'They're coming from everywhere...' She winced as the poison continued to course through her system, and Jolteon shifted her weight, leaning back, and then throwing herself forward, leaping up and bowing her head, a crack resounding the room as lightening suddenly struck from the ceiling, electrifying the ghost-ice pokemon. The Froslass cried out, but immediately summoned a hail storm, Elle lifting an arm up to brace herself against it. Jolteon shook her head, her sharp fur bristling, sparks leaping out around her faster. This time she didn't even bother to move-- static built up around her, and lightening struck the pokemon again, thunder resounding about the room. One more attack, and the Froslass collapsed-- only for yet another pokemon to appear.

Everyone, all of Ajicka's pokemon, knew how powerful Jas was-- he was, after all, Ajicka's starter --but it was a little humbling to watch as Ajicka's second pokemon easily faced down pokemon that Elle would have likely succumbed to even without the severe poisoning she was suffering from. Jolteon stood without the slightest show of fatigue even as the hail pelted her, stepping forward, static filling the air again. '... It's resistant against electricity, Jolteon,' Elle forewarned the pokemon, and Jolteon turned her head slightly to listen back, even though the communication was telepathic, 'You should probably use signal beam.' Jolteon made a small sound of impatience ,but turned, using the weaker attack to hit her opponent. She would have to stick with it, bearing through the hail until it finally let up, and, shortly thereafter, finishing her opponent off with a quick Discharge. Elle stayed where she was, watching as the stunned Pumpkaboo blinked, recovered, and quickly fled. She was... almost surprised that Jolteon didn't do overkill, and keep using her more effective attack even though the pokemon was so clearly close to fainting....
