The elf quickly took care of hers, from her expression, Shu inferred she might be a senior already. The elf was super composed as she fought with the ice spear. So she could make things with ice? It distracted Shu from attacking, the hit landed on the shadow was a mild one.
On the other hand, Wash had dealt much damage to the shadow. He was tall and muscular that reminded her of Robert. She only heard their voices though the radio, but she wanted to hug them. Waving her thought away, she gave the hunter a thumb up. "Nice hit!"

Perhaps they could use a little help, but mostly because she wanted for the fight to be over so that she could relay some information. Another dagger was sent flying through the air, missing both the target and the hunter narrowly.
She barely dodged another pair of daggers, it was so close for it to slash across her face. "Awe." She won't stand so close to the target next time, especially when there was someone tossing sharp ice daggers.
Sending a glance to the elf and hopefully she won't toss anything, Shu jumped in to land a final hit to Wash's shadow.

“My apologies...” she stepped out towards them now that the scuffle was over, still keeping some safe distance away. Edel glanced over the human victim who was with the hunters, taking in the his appearance and the she had spotted out earlier.
“There's a gathering for those with the jerseys over there,” she pointed in direction of the temporary camp set up to gather the members of the university faction, nodding at Washington. “There are some food and water for the humans, if they need them.”

She wasn't quite sure how to take the compliment from the hunter girl, pausing to let out an awkward, “Thank you, and you look adorable too.” A friendly conversation with a hunter, or at least the second one of the day.
“Possibly, but does that matter?” she answered, sounding unsure. “The request was to save the humans in general, their personal agendas do not affect my purpose.” Except she did think it was logical to gather all the jersey wearing humans together too. She shrugged.
“Have you seen any other Halloween denizens? We should be making our way back now,” she asked.
"Aww, you're so nice." Shu's face dripped with happiness. She enjoyed talking to everyone, as long as they didn't attack her or trying to kill her like the horseman lady.
For her question, the petite girl nodded vehemently. "If they're from different parties, I know they would like to wake up and see their friends around them instead of strangers, right?" She had been alone since she left the daycare place, she would like to cling to whoever she knew for the rest of the time before the portals were back.
"A T-Rex, an one-eye creature and a reaper so far." Her honey eyes rolled up and counted. "The reaper interrupted my fight, another two seemed friendly enough." She'd like to go back too, but the fog was interfering with her orientation. Shu pouted and frowned in trouble.

Wash sighed with relief as Shu dispatched the shadow-thing, leaning on his shield and catching his breath.
"Thanks," he added gruffly, and simply nodded at the ice-elf. "I think mine's in a bad way, that'll be useful."
He paused, then added, "Take care of yourself out there."

"Hm..." she took in the information, making a mental note to keep an eye out for their descriptions. "Thank you for letting me know," she smiled, for the first time since this trouble started.
"I should get going now," she nodded, "There were a number of hunters at the place I pointed out, if you were looking for them." This one...seemed alright... she waved goodbye before she set off to continue her search.

"You're welcome, thank you for the information as well." She smiled back even warmer, seeing Edel's composed smile. She's really beautiful like Elsa, right? The beast agreed with her comment.
She nodded, "See you later then, I will take a rest with him before I move." Shu took a quick glance at Wash then waved goodbye to the leaving elf. She wondered if they met for a second time, she'd tell her name.
When the elf no longer in sight, she turned to ask the hunter. "Where are you heading?"
