Harper hid out in the darkest part of the basement waiting for everyone to poke their heads out so she could see where they all hid when they ran. It was easy to go unnoticed with everyone else was preoccupied with one another that she easily darted her way closer to an unsuspecting figure. Standing up she pointed her gun. “Gotcha!” She shot rather wildly at Caroline before running back behind a wall made of various textbooks not yet used to repair holes in the school. It was rather exhilarating trying to run around and not be shot by anyone else. HP: 20/20 DMG: 1 TARGET: Caroline

"No fair!" It was ridiculous and childish, but Austin still sounded genuinely upset about the sudden speed everyone else had taken off with. He'd spent all this time just untangling his gun, and now he finally got it up only to be shot -- He ducked, to one side, trying to put something between himself and the shot that had lit up one of the markers on his shoulder, with a sharp sound like a growl. Then, quickly, he squeezed off a shot of his own, back toward Liam. He didn't miss. Not quite. HP: 14/20 DMG: 1 TARGET: Liam[568 words]

Running for the hills was the best course of action for Justin as he hid when Cecil and Harvard marked his booty as their target. "Hey whoa, slow down!" he called out behind his cover. "I know I have a great butt but that don't mean you have to aim at it!" he countered, switching to another pile of books for cover, peeking out to fire a few more rounds in retaliation at Cecil's arm. The accusation of betrayal was only met with laughter, which didn't stop until she was ambushed. "Oh, Corey, you have been avenged!" Caroline clutched her injury as she called out, watching the lights on her 'armor' flash to determine how badly she'd been wounded. Barely, as it turned out. "But only a little!" Now that she was done laughing and shouting at the children, she silenced herself to play more tactically. There was someone not far from her, judging by their silhouette - she cautiously began to sneak towards them, a slow smile spreading across her face as she realized who it was. " Bang," she whispered, touching the plastic weapon to his side without ever pulling the trigger. This was how flirting worked. HP: 19/20 DMG: 0 TARGET: Harvard

Austin's growl was met with an answering chuckle. It was clear the younger of the two wasn't taking any of this too seriously. Oh yes, he was trying to win, but being shot in the back wasn't about to sour his mood any. This was all just one big game, as far as he was concerned. Speeding out from the barrel he'd ducked behind, Liam fired off a quick shot at Harper as he ran past her. HP: 19/20 DMG: - TARGET: Harper

"Oh, good! Thank you to whomever avenged me!" Corey called out, though it was a generally bad idea to do such a thing when you were hiding behind some overturned and misplaced desks. She did wait there though, for only a moment, counting to five in her head before turning quickly, rolling onto her knees and aiming over the lip of the desk. Harvard's warning had perhaps come a fraction too late. Justin had already countered Cecil's attack lighting up the pad along his shoulder to let him know he had been hit. " O-Obviously." That was his cue to move and so Cecil rose to his feet to dash for a new hiding spot. He glimpsed Austin out of the corner of his eye and thought perhaps a sneak attack was in order. It was too bad he missed the perfectly placed dry erase board covering a hole in the floor. His weight easily fell through the flimsy material they had used to patch the damage and he went down with a loud thud. " Ow. Man down. Oh god man down." Please have mercy. HP: 18/20 DMG: 0 TARGET: Austin

Caroline had got him. "Why, Caroline, didn't anyone ever tell you to shoot?" With a teasing smile, he pushed the tip of his gun under her chin, using it to tilt her head slightly.Then he kissed her, because why not. The kiss, meant to be quick, lengthened out, and his gun was holstered so that he could press his fingers into her back. All in all, if Caroline's strategy was to keep him from shooting... it was working. HP: 20/20 DMG: 0 Target: nawp

Harper didn’t even see Liam until his little plastic gun made the pew pew. “OH what!? You better watch out Liam!” She looked over her vest but luckily he had completely missed her. She darted over to a stack of desk, a few missing their tops, likely scattered somewhere around the school acting as a repair board. Then there was a crack and a thud she heard someone topple over. “Are you ok Cecil?” Nothing too serious she hoped. Taking another dodge behind a pile of books Harper finally made a run for it shooting at Liam. “Payback!” She kept running until she found another barricade to hid behind. HP: 20/20 DMG: 1 TARGET: Liam

The sound behind him caught Harvard's attention, made him turn -- but it wasn't Cecil who caught Austin, attention, since he'd already dipped below the line of sight. Instead it was flirting old people. This time, at least, he didn't miss: he aimed his gun and fired, lighting up the back of Harvard's vest. And he lingered, just so that the pair of them were aware of who had fired. HP: 14/20 DMG: 3 TARGET: Harvard

If anyone bothered to look, towards the edge of their 'battle field' a familiar Mascot was now bouncing around wordlessly cheering people on. How the hell it even survived was anyones best guess, if anyone bothered asking Charlie would lie and never admit that he kept the thing tightly locked up and hidden to prevent damage....

Justin took a dive to the dusty floor and began to survery the madness. "Carloine is trying to shoot Harvard down point blank?" after a moment he realized that she wasn't trying to shoot him, and harvard wasn't trying to shoot her, with his toy gun at least. "I think i should leave them be for a bit." turning away from the duo and instead taking up the mantle on shooting their leader once more. "Think fast!" he cried, jumping out of his cover and passing behind the desk to shoot at her back plate. HP: 20/20 DMG: 1 TARGET:Corey nothing yet You may Proceed with the Harvard flirtation.

While that had not been Caroline's strategy for laser tag, she did count this as a victory in a different game of tag. Then the kiss lasted for more than just a second, and she completely forgot that she'd been playing the first game at all, until she heard the sound of one of them being shot. This was a prime example of why it was necessary at all times to follow Rule 13. " Oops." She stole one more quick kiss and teasingly gave Harvard's cheek a little pat. "You win this time. Clever, catching me when I thought I'd caught you." Not quite focused enough to re-enter the arena of laser combat, she tried to just shoot at Charlie when she saw him along the sidelines. It was only fair, after Corey - but that failed miserably, her shot catching Justin instead as he valiantly dove in the line of fire. She tried to look innocent and didn't outwardly claim this particular mistake. HP: 19/20 DMG: 6 TARGET: Charlie Justin

Another shoulder lit up, and Liam dove behind a a stack of old text books. "Oh yeah?" If she was gunning for him, he'd return the favor, gladly. Well, he'd certainly try to, in any case. Though it was hard to aim with he was laughing. Even harder when he noticed a certain familiar unicorn dancing on the sidelines. HP: 18/20 DMG: - TARGET: Harper again
