Her gaze wandered back out.
"I miss our Island." Even with all the crazy, at least the Island was home. She curled up on Milo again.

"Dude, of course!" Catching that look in her eyes, he chuckled once again. "Think we're due, ya? First the beach, now we'll figure somewhere else."
To her next statement, he just hummed. Though he didn't dislike the island, he had been off and on it so much his opinion was beginning to vary. Though, maybe he did favor it. It was home, it was familiar and it was where his new friends and family were, like Noemi. "Yeah." He simply stated, weaving his fingers in her hair.

"A beach would be fun!" Noemi twiddle her fingers, thinking of the tropical locations. She wanted to explore the world a little more, and she thought that would be fine if she went with Milo! He didn't babysit her, but he made sure nothing happened.
Nothing ever happened when she was in his care!
Her eyes slid close at the touch of his hand in her hair, relaxing next to him and her breathing evening out. He was, the best. He knew how to calm her.
"I can take your civilian." She murmured, "To the daycare? So you can explore if you want." She looked over at him. "If you wanted too, I could stay there with Rep and Harrison. If you wanted me too."

"Yeah, you wanna go do that? We've been sitting here for maybe a bit too long." Though, honestly, Milo wouldn't mind just sitting there a bit longer. But they had a job to do here and perhaps they needed to get out of the backseat of the car now.

Noemi would never admit that she didn't want to stay there longer.
But both her and Milo knew they had a job to do, and sitting in a car didn't do anything for either of them. Her fear shield had time to heal.
It was time to work again.
"Yeah...we should go." Even if she had been the one to suggest it, she felt sad. It'd go away, but for now, for now she did what she needed too.
"I'll help you carry her!" And then she scooted out of the comfortable seating.
