Feliks seemed to chuckle and nod, "Yeah, I mean I'm sure there's sometimes when anyone would like to have a sibling, but occasionally I think four siblings is a little on the muchness side."
He paused as she asked him for his expertise and laid down a few guidelines. He nodded, "Color preferences?" He asked as he headed over towards the racks motioning for her to follow. "I've got a few in mind, it'd help if I knew there were colors you really didn't want or if there was something you did. Which the wheels are easy to change out. I could do that for you and show you how if you ended up wanting a plainer pair of skates but fancy wheels." He paused, "Also how high up on the list is comfort? There's some that's got rough plastic and they'll cut into you if you're not careful." He was already looking at rows of boxes thinking.

Olga followed dutifully, grinning at the back of his head. She let out a thoughtful hum. "Gee...that's kind of hard! I don't really have colors I don't like but...I do lean towards maroons and gray-blues! If that helps." She laughed, not sure if it would at all when it came to picking out skates, but at least there seemed to be more options with wheels! "How cool you can customize a pair of skates!" She observed, staring up at the row of boxes with him. "Oh! I'd say high, yeah? I wanna skate for a long time and not have it cutting into anything!"

Feliks nodded as he listened, he was already thinking about what he'd pull out and pulled out four different boxes. All of them were in lines, that he'd managed to pull out but he paused looking to see if there were any quads that might fit her needs. . .
"So . . . quads verses in line skates. Quads can be more difficult to get use to because you have two wheels side by side where in lines are actually, in a line." He paused for dramatic effect, "I think for what you want the in lines are gunna be better, I grabbed two of our cheaper fitness models and well, two that are actually made for rolling around outside. Both work well, fitness is obviously geared more towards if you wanna get in shape the others are more basic, a perhaps a little slower. It's up to you~"

Olga nodded as she came to stand beside him, and let out an appreciate laugh at the 'in line' play on words. "I think in lines, yeah? Because they are better for outdoors! Quads are more for roller skating rinks!" She grinned. "Oh, yeah! Let's definitely go for the fitness ones! They sound like they can take a beating and go a little faster!" Olga paused for a moment, before she grimaced a bit. "What's the damage on the price tag for a fitness pair, huh?"

Feliks nodded as she said she thought the fitness ones sounded like the best bet, "Well these two are clearance, this one's originally 100, it's down to 70 bucks. It's the gray with blue outlines. Of course they get dirty easy since it's a lighter color, but if you don't mind that it's a good skate. This one usually runs about 130." He turned to the other one, "Black and pink with maroon stitches. It's on sale for 90 bucks, since they're clearance I might be able to push the price down a little more."
He shrugged, "You wanna try 'em on?" He'd eyeballed her shoe size, just from what shoes she was wearing, "If they're too tight I can snag the size up or a size down if they feel too big."

"Hmmmm." Olga rubbed her chin thoughtfully as she looked over the two---but despite pondering, she was already leaning towards one pair in specific. The cheaper and also less flashy looking pair. College kid budget. Had to save everything she could, even roughly twenty dollars. "Let's do the gray with blue outlines!" She declared, and immediately flopped down onto her bottom. She then unlaced one of her boots, and pulled it off, ready to try one on.

Feliks nodded as he pulled out the matching skate to the shoe she pulled off. "Here you go, it should be loose but not so much it moves a ton, and there's adjustable straps so it's comfortable."
He watched her try the skate on, pulling the other out of the box. So he could offer it to her, "We can probably fix it so you're payments aren't that horrible, with these. How often would you want to pay?" He asked curiously.

"Right!" Olga took the offered skate, and slipped it on. She really liked these adjustable straps, too. It made fitting easier! She stared at the skate on her foot, and glanced up when the other one was offered. Oh, right! Olga unlaced her other boot and took the offered skate, slipping that on as well. She stuck out her tongue briefly as she thought, and snapped up the straps. "Ummm...how about once a week? I can't do a lot, but a little consistently over time should be good, yeah?" She let her long legs stretch out before her now, both clad in skates. She wiggled her toes around in them, and deemed them the ones. "These are it, Feliks!" She grinned up at him.

Feliks laughed and nodded, "Well, how about we do 10 dollars a week? Or is that too much? Obviously the 5 dollars down." He said as he offered his hand to her.
"Here, stand up on them and see how you like the feel?" He had watched her stretch out her legs, though the real test was standing on them. "It'll take you about 7 weeks to pay them off if we do 10 bucks a week, if you can't do that it'll take roughly 14 at 5 dollars a week. . ."
He paused, "At 14 weeks you'd have them paid off in January." He stopped thinking, "That'd be a little longer than layaway runs . . . " Humming as he watched her on the skates. "I'll set the payments at 5 but pay 10 when you can so that way you get them out before Christmas. Layaway ends Dec 21st, just so you know."

Olga let out another thoughtful hum, both contemplating the payment she could manage a week, plus whether she should be clumsily rolling around on skates in a store. After a moment or two she took Feliks' hand, and with his help pulled herself up to her feet---and almost immediately they rolled out from underneath her. She let go of his hand to throw her arms out to steady herself, and tried to keep her legs firm as she figured out the proper stance. Her tongue stuck out as she stared down at the skates. "Yanno---" She started, sounding a bit distracted. "Let's do ten a week. I can swing that! So in a little less than seven weeks I'd have it covered, yeah?"

Feliks gave a small chuckle as he helped her balance herself, "The best thing about these, is inlines you can really only fall backwards unless you have horrible talent."
He hummed a bit and nodded when she said 10 a week, "Yup! And then you can get rolling on them." He hummed softly, "I might be able to give you some lessons to help you out when you get them out."
He grinned, "Want help back down so you can take those off? I can get you a tag written out and put into the system afterwards~"

Olga laughed. " Rolling---I see what you did there." She grinned at him, and then jolted as the feet went opposite of each other before she straightened out again. "Yeah---yeah, that'd be great, actually, Mister future Tony Hawk! I'll...definitely take you up on those lessons once I get these bad boys---" She crouched, and then slowly leaned back until she fell on her bottom with a small 'oof'. "There---" Olga started to undo the straps, and beamed up at him. "Sounds great!"

He grinned as she managed to figure out how to sit down, it wasn't graceful but in time she'd master it. "Yeah, you'll get it! I'm sure my sister can help too, she's better at some things than I am." He boxed up the skates when she had them off, and hummed.
He nodded as she said sounds great and pulled up the system for the layaways, "Alright so if you'll just answer all of this. . . " When he was finished he pulled the receipt off, "If you'll sign here, it's just a 'if I default I lose the skates' however you can really just give us a call if you're gunna be late on the payment. . . and you're all done!"
He put the box in a clear bag and taped the layaway tags to it. "Easy process right?"

"Oh yeah? Think your sister would wanna come out and help a stranger?" She asked teasingly with a grin, and followed him back to the counter for all the official stuff. Olga nodded her head, filling out and answering what she needed to, and when prompted to sign, she did so with a flourish, 'Sol O. Sayle'. "Oh---I don't plan on being late with any payments." She replied in earnest. Even if she had to drown herself in taking on more smut writing commissions, she do so, just to make sure these got paid off on time. "Very easy!" She grinned at him. "You also make it too easy---I see you there, mister sly salesman." She laughed, and then raised a hand. "Well, unfortunately, I should get going---homework calls! But hey, now that I'll be popping in at least once a week, I'll see you around, yeah?" LP Wrap for this one on my end! <3
