This time Cecil did smile, "Oh come now, it's not that bad." Okay it wasn't great, Cecil would admit but this crumbling university was all they had.

"You know, I know this is hardly a university anymore, but if you have the time at some point I would really like to hear what your class was about. You seem like you would have been an interesting teacher to have."

Harvard was a little bitter perhaps. Or maybe pessimistic. Either way Cecil didn't say a word and let him speak his mind. Perhaps it would help.

"No no, it's interesting. I really enjoyed learning though I may not have always gotten the best grades. Maybe you can tell me more later on when we're not trying to keep the building from falling in on top of us."

There was another large hole in the floor and there was nothing left but the cart itself. Frowning Cecil casually bumped the cart and let it wheel itself to its new purpose as it fell into the small pit and filled it.

"Well, I think we are out of supplies officially but we mended...." Was that even the proper word to use? "Quite a bit. Want to head back for now?"

He looked over their 'work' with a critical eye. "Yeah, I guess. Let's head back." They had done kind of a piss-poor job, but it was no better and no worse than anyone before them. He gave the jaintorial cart one last kick, centering it a hair more on the damage.

"I never want to pull this duty again."

With a smile Cecil followed Harvard back toward the dorms. It would be hard for him to repeat this sort of work as well, mostly because he knew how it should have been done. With limited supplies it was the best they could do however.
