Liam flinched when Austin touched him, taking a small step back from the hole. The idea of sticking around to try to remedy this was a noble one, which was why it had been appealing, but though reckless, the shorter boy wasn't exactly
courageous. They weren't supposed to be heading out on their own, and Liam didn't
want to be on his own. Not after what had happened earlier in the washroom.
So when Austin stepped away and went to grab his bag of maintenance supplies Liam reluctantly followed a few seconds later, sighing as he grabbed his own bag and trailed after the needling blonde.
He could always mention it to someone later, the hole. Explain they'd run out of supplies...Someone would come out and fix it, right?
Or they'd get in trouble.
