Lysithea swallowed, looking up at him, then finally gave a small smile, nodding. “Yeah okay. You can get that kiss, I guess. But just a little one. Just a nice, little one nothing big or anything…and don’t get any dumb ideas, Sanidine…not unless you want to come to my side and sweep me off my feet and live happily ever after with me…”
She lifted one of her arms and wrapped it around him, letting it find its way into his hair again, this time just lightly twirling it around her finger instead of tugging.
This was kind of nice…and if she was able to bring him to her side…well then she couldn’t be faulted for this…right?
Right.

Sanidine did not lean in immediately; instead, he looked down into her eyes, as if by doing so he could figure out who she was behind her mask. Or maybe he really did just think she was pretty. He didn't know if he was going to get the opportunity to be so close to her again, so he was going to make the best of it; they might not have been enemies tonight, but tomorrow night?
He didn't know what they'd get into or how they'd butt heads.
And he didn't care what side she was on; he was going to get it good wherever he could get it.

Well damn…so much for getting him to purify…but maybe that could be taken care of later. Kissing now…well. Maybe kissing for a long time, she wouldn’t mind…
His lips were soft and his look right before the kiss made her heart beat a lot quicker than normal…and she didn’t even care.
Nothing really mattered right now…
