Shu smiled, "Then you will love the coming Halloween Party! I hope they'll have it this year. I dressed like a witch last year, my friend and I went to shopping for the costume, he bought me a giant teddy bear. It was so much fun." Her face grew a little bit rosy, brushed with happy moments.

Shu's expression, however, shortly changed to one slightly confused, as if Ember had given her a mini puzzle she stuck at. "Creepy - Bearded - Russian - Guyyyy?" The first one came into her mind was Uncle Mark, but the Death Assistant looked nothing Russian, he only fitted the "creepy" and "bearded" points. "Hmph......." She decided to let it go, "Oh a crank lantern? Have you decorated it in your style?

She wanted to inform Ember that the Scareon wasn't some soft plushie he should squeeze however hard he liked. "If you get a runic cage of your own, you can catch one later." Since nothing bad happened, she remained silent.

"That. sounds. great...?" She spoke word by word, couldn't quite feel empathy for his excitement. She could imagine the emotion of seeing an idol, "I'm happy for you." She guessed it was similar to how she believed in fairy tales. "Remember not to shake a demon's hand so easily if you see one, some bad ones might trap you into making contracts with them -" She then recalled his reactions talking about demons and thought mentioning contracts won't serve as a reminder but more like an encouragement.

Shu nodded excitedly, "What're you gonna dress as if they have it this year?" My Lucifer? She never hear people saying that though she knew who Lucifer was, thanked to some animes about angels and demons. "That's nice, show me when you finish."

Their conversation couldn't continue as she was shaken back and forth, finally he stopped to gasp and she took the chance to push her glasses back to position. Deliberately evaded the question, she said: "You simply obtain a runic cage, get to Scarefari located at Halloween world through h-type golems and be lucky. You can get a cage from the life tech, just says that you are gonna study minipet stuff." The petite hunter nodded to herself, "Hmm, that'll do."

She already had a second plan, if he asked further about the contracts, she will warned him very seriously. <I wonder if it works, silly.>

"S-s-ssssssuccbus?" Mind blown, Shu stuttered with word. Normally, people would say they wanted to be angels or devils and demon. It was shocked to hear someone specially say they're gonna dress as a succubus. Rolling her eyes upward to recall how the succubus looked like in anime and movies, Shu slowly gazed at Ember's chest and obliviously tilted her head. Her chest was small, but it didn't mean flat chested succubus won't be appealing. Besides, if he wanted to be full-figured, there were fake boobs selling online. The simple Asian nodded to herself, "I can check it for you?"

Shu certainly had no idea what she signed up for, she simply offered because she regarded Ember as a friend. "No problem! I hoped you get something you like since normal pets are not an option on the island." She giggled in glee, thinking about her tiny treat.

Turning around, she began to feed the minipets locked in cages, there were quite a number of them. If they didn't start earlier, they won't be able to catch the lunch time. The petite hunter looked inside the cages and discovered some new speices, she guessed they went to the Scarefari lately to catch specimens for experiment use.

"Ember, what's your life was like?" She unwrapped a candy and tossed into a cage of a bat-like critter, it hit one side of the wall and re-bounced to the back of the cage.

"Hmm, hmm, I understand what you mean." Shu nodded twice. "They're heavy and your back would hurt if they're too big." She pouted while she said. Not that I am envy or anything, <Really silly?>, the beast snorted.

Shu's honey colored eyes widened in wonder. "A lot of animals? That sounds like a farm to me!" Her hands waving up and down, forgot she was feeding, the poor minis moved its head for the candy whenever her hand went. Finally, it yelled. "Oh sorry, here's your candy." Her hand fiddled with the candies as she recalled the past memories. "I grew up in a city, in a multi-storey house. It's a modern city without much green in sight, we don't have any animals around, I guess you can say we live in the sub-urban area. Normal city girl, nothing special. How about you?"

Shu thought of what life would be in rural area, would it be like that described in the famous Old McDonald song? It was just imagination but she enjoyed the thought that she might have a different life. "Hmm.....that sounds peaceful and relaxing."

"Western places are so different from Eastern places. In my city, it was packed with people and the residential buildings need a vertical expansion. People get land from reclamation and we always have land shortage. Maybe that's why green is precious." She booped the nose of a trick redux, it had lovely colors that resembled a pumpkin. It seemed some hard-working life hunters had caught new species back.

"Me too!" Shu beamed, "It's happy to talk to you. No worries, I've my flashlight, to see my friend, I'll brave the darkness!" Like a tiny knight, she puffed up her chest and looked proud for the granted friendship.
