So far it hadn't been particularly useful for combat but occasionally it did give her a much needed second or two in battle in order to figure out what to do next. Sherwood trusted it, odd as it was to say, despite complaining about it. No matter what else happened it felt like it was hers, it belonged to her. That alone made any hindrance worth the cost.
"I hope I get magic next, whenever that is. No one I've talked to can tell me when, or why. They just said something strong happened and suddenly they were better. It's kind of scary...and exciting."
She shrugged and figured it would come when it came. For now she wasn't seeking out any large fights in order to push herself along. That would take time and knowledge to understand it all and she wanted to, if she was going to fight in this war.
"Anyway, it was nice to meet you, Sinny. I'll see you again soon, ok? I've gotta get home now."
Newgrange would be waiting for a text and her parents were probably waiting.
