Clara made her way through the crowd, heading towards the backstage area. As she neared it she caught sight of the man from the park. She had never learned his name that day. She approached him, her hands in her pockets. "Did you slip the ticket and pass into my book," she asked him as she looked him over.

Jianlei Tsukino Jianlei cocked his head, a small, playful smirk crossing his face as he spotted her from a distance, though he looked away until she spoke. "Which one?" he said absently, as if he didn't notice her before he chuckled, tugging out a beautiful pair of flowers. "Name's Jianlei," he said conversationally.

Clara smiled when she saw the flowers, and he told her his name. "I am Clara." She removed her hands from her jeans pockets. "I was pleasantly surprised by the ticket and backstage passes." Her head tilted to the side slightly as she regarded him. "I am grateful, but why? Just curious." A complete stranger had never given her such a gift before. She knew that these items were not cheap or easy to come by.

Jianlei Tsukino Jianlei smiled slightly. "You looked like you needed a night to relax and let off some steam," he said with a bit of amusement. "And you're quite pretty, too, which really helps," he said conversationally.

"Did I really look like that? And I had just come back from a month's long vacation." Clara shook her head with a chuckle and then blushed when he complimented her on her looks. "Oh well...thank you," she said softly. "I was almost afraid I wasn't going to be able to make it. With how busy work is and all. It's like they did nothing while I was away."

Jianlei Tsukino Jianlei shrugged slightly. "Been there, done that. Seems like people rely on the strongest to protect the weakest, sometimes... and cowards tend to annoy me," he said wryly; he spoke from personal experience, there. He sighed softly as he glanced towards the growing audience. "Good thing I got you floor seats... though I've never gotten why they called them floor seats at concerts if the people never sit down for a good musician," he said wryly, muttering the last part after pausing.

Clara followed Jianlei's gaze, seeing the growing crowd. A lot of people were showing up for this concert and she wasn't in the least bit surprised. She looked back to Jianlei, chuckling softly. As she looked closer at him she realized that the drawing she had done really did not do him any justice. He was extremely good looking up close, and she had been a bit away while drawing. "Well then, I suppose I had better go and find me a good spot before they are all taken."

Jianlei Tsukino Jianlei glanced up at the lights, where people were skillfully shifting along thick ropes to set up the lights. "Hopefully it's a night where there aren't any accidents," he murmured softly, unaware Clara was watching him with keen interest.

Clara looked up at the people setting up the lights. "Well one can only hope, right?" She said with a small shrug. "Accidents happen every day in this world because of all the people in it. Some are worse then others..." Her mind drifted to her parent's fatal accident. Nearly five years ago they had been on their way home from a wedding. It was late and raining. A car swerved around the bend, hitting her parents car and sending them over the cliff.

Jianlei Tsukino Jianlei exhaled softly. "Better than when it isn't an accident," he murmured softly, clenching one hand, unaware that his nails bit into his forearm just above the wrist and drew blood.

Clara looked at Jianlei with concern as she saw the blood coming from his arm. She stepped closer to him, placing her hand against his arm. "Hey, are you okay," she asked softly as she looked up at him.

Jianlei Tsukino Jianlei took a deep breath. "Let's just say that someone wanted something from my family they weren't willing to give, and they were killed for it," he murmured with a soft sigh.

"Oh...I am sorry Jianlei," Clara said softly as she pulled her hand back from his arm. "It is always so hurtful when you lose the ones you love. Especially wen they are taken from you. My parents car was ran off a cliff when a drunk driver rounded the corner too fast..."

Jianlei Tsukino Jiànleí inhaled slowly. "Was he caught and punished?" he said quietly. Almost the moment he spoke, the sound of rapid cymbals ringing sounded, making him grimace slightly and restrain himself from growling. "Maybe you should find a seat, though I don't think they'll be too comfortable," he said quietly; he'd never seen the appeal in hard metal chairs.

Clara shook her head. "No they never did. Whoever it was had stolen the car and crashed it into the rail not too far from where my parents went over. It was abandoned then." That had always bothered her. That somebody could be so cruel and heartless to do that to another human being. She looked over to where the noise was coming from, smiling slightly. "What fun is sitting at a concert?" She looked back to Jianlei. "Thank you, again." Clara turned and began to make her way into the crowd.
