Alol... Zuri racked her brain to try to think of the creature that fit the name. Although she was sure that she heard of them before she couldn't picture any type of creature. She assumed they were small though, she typically knew about the different kinds of animals that could be used as mounts.
"No I can't say that I have. What do they look like? Do you wish to just see the animals of the world, or do you plan on taming them?" Taming was hard, but in her opinion it was a very rewarding experience.

"Alol are very fancy creatures with a lot of little decorative frills on their backs, normally very colorful, and can be found walking on walls and ceilings." He explained, giving a bit of a smile as he thought about the little critters. He'd seen them a few times back home, stuck to the outside of the house or climbing in the trees. He blinked a couple times as Zuri asked him if he planned to tame them. It was something that had him shaking his head rapidly, "Oh! No, no... I don't think my parents would really want any pets in the house." His father already wanted him gone so it would be best not to test the man's patience by bringing an animals into the house. Giving a shake of his head he said, "I think I will just admire such creatures from afar until I move out. Once that happens maybe I will make friends with one creature or another." The idea of finding himself a friend like Sneeu, an alol, or something else entirely did have some appeal to it.

She smiled at the thought of the creatures that he was describing. They seemed cute, though hardly the kind of creature that would be trained to do very much. "Ah, they seem like an interesting companion. Don't think they would do good back in my homeland though. Frills and bright normally mean they aren't set up for the cold. The less color a creature has the more it will blend in with the snow which will allow it to live longer." Water earthlings would live well in Zena, their color was right, but at the same time she didn't feel like they would like the cold. It would be a big adjustment from the temperature they were use to.
She laughed at his quick response. "You're a good son, my daughters wouldn't have even considered second guessing bringing home whatever it was they wanted. It is better that way though, I think, to wait until you move out to get a companion. That way you bond with them a little better. Especially when it's just you and them for some time."

"Yeah, they are pretty interesting, though startling as well. They seem pretty adept at walking without making much sound so you can turn and one will be right next to you!" That could just be his problem though, that he wasn't nearly observant enough, and yet lizards sneak up on him or so said that voice in the back of his head. Something he didn't want to think about since he didn't like the idea that he was so easy to startle. Giving a thoughtful sound he said, "Yeah... probably not? They do seem to hide when it gets colder and at night, so they might not want to visit Zena." Tera couldn't help but to flush and laugh a little, "Well... sort of good... I try my best but..." He trailed off, shaking his head. No reason to burden her with what thoughts came to mind. Instead he said, "You have daughters? Wow... are they younglings?" She seemed young, surely her children must be young as well he found himself thinking. Nodding his head he said, "Yeah... I think I will wait until I am out of the house. It will give me lots of time to decide what sort of pet I want."

She laughed. She could just imagine screaming over seeing such a creature. She wasn't all that easy to sneak up on, however from the sound of it these creatures were good at doing just that. She nodded. "It's interesting to see how certain animals are suited towards certain climates while others would stay away from it. Some animals just shouldn't be taken out of their homeland I guess."
She frowned slightly at the question. It was her fault he asked though, she had mentioned them so it only made sense for him to ask. "They were both at prentice age. I had them when I was pretty young."
She fell silent for a while, looking around awkwardly. "It's been wonderful talking to you, but I'm sure someone is waiting for you back at home." immersed in thoughts of her daughters once again she was no longer in the mood to socialize much.

Tera glanced toward Zuri, opening his mouth, about to ask... but the words never came out. It was as though something inside of him refused to allow him to ask anything further about her children. He'd been about to ask about how she'd said 'were' instead of 'are' because it was a significant thing. The voice in his head told him to keep his question to himself, said in a tone that Tera couldn't just ignore. He stayed silent on the subject. "It was nice to talk to you too, Zuri." He said once he was able to find his voice again. He turned in the direction that home was located before he gave a slow nod of his head, "Yeah... I should probably head for home." Before anyone noticed that he was missing. The last thing he wanted was to worry anyone or cause trouble. Giving a smile he said, "I hope that we can meet again sometime." It would be nice, especially if he ever made it to Zena. After giving a wave he turned on his heel, heading on his way. Best that he hurried, if he were quick enough, as well as lucky enough he'd be able to get back with plenty of time to spare.
