She had been running various thoughts through her head as she glanced around, trying to get a better look by squinting through the fog. But sticking close to the bus for now.

As she was addressed by the other Horseman she couldn't help but grin at his enthusiasm. A grin hidden by her face mask that reached her eyes.

"Not quite so much of a stabby mood. But an excited one none the less." Even though she was no longer an 'official' alchemist in her clan, Falair's curiosity and need for knowledge ran deep.

Katrine wasn't even sure why she was on this lumpy bumpy ride to begin with.... there was this vague sense of being drawn away and the vehicle had been a convienent method of travel... possibly. She wasn't sure. It could be the calling or maybe she was just lost, she had been trying to get to the library.

It was taking some willpower not to accidentally phase through the seats of the bus she was on and the pool of slime that was collecting at her feet, down the front of the chair was evidence enough of that lack of control. Sure she was pretty, but she also produced some bone-chilling depression-inducing goo... and this kept her neighbouring peers at least a seat away.

'Course, when the bus was tossed from the serpent's back, she was caught unaware like everyone else and accidentally shoved her hands into more then a few people as the cabin rolled multiple times before coming to a rocking halt. Dizzy, confused, and now entirely lost (this was NOT the library!) Katrine walked out of the bus with a curiously neutral expression on her face.

Wherever they were, this was the right place. She felt it deep inside her ectoplasm. The people were pleasantly aggressive and agrieved, the fog leant a positively charming atmosphere of doom and gloom, and she couldn't help but find a spark of kinship with a man whose gaze held such sorrow and distrust as to stir even her long-dead heartstrings.

It was perfect.

Lock went because Shun went. It was literally that simple. His mentor had brought up a suspicious village on the outskirts of town and seeing as Shun was going, Lock thought it smart to investigate as well. If anything it would be a chance to see if he'd improved from the previous excursion. He was supposed to get stronger; now would be a chance to prove his worth.

Having to ride on a snake was less than pleasant. It was bumpy and miserable and Lock pretty much wished he had never come.

"Don't go far," he warned Piper, arms crossed. "We aren't privvy to what lurks here."

"Sleeping on public transit seems unwise," Hollandaise said matter-of-factly, dropping her hands. "-unless you are with a friend, there are innumerable things that may happen. Much like this detour." She had the sudden, vague wish that Chaya or Mathias were here, too. Hollandaise made a soft, creaking noise and rubbed the skin under he fear bracelet.

Abruptly, some ghoul stumbled into Hollandaise, and with a loud, startled creak and a tangle of limbs... Hollandaise was down, and so was the other ghoul. This all happened quite conveniently near the red imp; Hollandaise's bag may have landed on TG's head... "W-what?"

Somewhere along that bus ride, Viktor had bumped his head a few times. He hadn't the slightest idea what he was doing on that bus in the first place. He couldn't remember for the life of him. But it was one hell of a ride. Even if he was a tad dizzy, he slowly got up out of his seat, and exited the bus. But not without first shooting the driver a glare, as if to say 'You are the crappiest bus driver EVER.'

His paw feet hit the ground, and he was immediately greeted by ...mist? He squinted, straining to see. "Where is this place?" He asked aloud, not really expecting an answer. He sighed, and contemplated having a look around. Might as well explore. If anything, he had brought some spray paint. He could always leave his mark on the town. With a toothy grin, he decided to check the place out. Maaaybe he would leave a big 'Viktor was here!' mark to commemorate his visit.

He turned up the music on his player, and dance-walked over to where he thought others would be.

He hadn't known she had come back. He had silently assumed as much because she hadn't written in a while and he could have sworn he had seen her in that last surprise schoolwide vision, but he he hadn't known. Surely it was at least 65% his fault with all of the time he spent hunched over potions and failing to socialize, but he found his eyes narrowing at the back of her poofy hair anyway, at least until they crashed. Then he was all shaky hands and coughing, even though the fog didn't seem to be that kind of fog at all.

"Is everyone all right?"

If he noticed the affronted tone coming from the other boil, he didn't react to it, Vaudrey simply beaming a bright, cheerful smile at him.

"I am doing simply wonderful," he said grandly, and thrust out a taloned hand. "If we are going to be friends, we should at least know each other's names! I am Vaudrey Scarlett, and it is most delightful to meet such a dashing creature as yourself!"

Either Vaudrey really had hit his head, or he was just ridiculously over dramatic. Most likely it was the latter.

"Ah!" he said, wings flapping as he pranced around the boil to see on his other side. He lifted a hand and waved enthusiastically. "I see there are others on this trip with us, hullo, hullo! Please do come and join us on this truly magical adventure!"
