XXX Not long after Yuisis had asked Saki how close they were to finding the assassin, she heard the barely intelligible voice of the masked monster. Luckily they had Saki to lead the group in the right direction. The young woman could only imagine how much more violence and death that the assassin could have dealt if they had not caught up to him so quickly. Honestly she doubted that he even had much time to tend to his wounds properly. With these advantages she held little doubt that the battle would end swiftly. It was then that she felt as though she was floating or weightless. "What the...?" she muttered under her breath. It was difficult to move, but somehow she could make it work. It was then that she saw that the assassin was after Vice Captain Dotsu. "Haunt, Yyrkoon!" she would release her trusted blade once more. The temperature of the air around her rapidly increasing, though there was no sign of it upon her body. The young woman preferred to battle defensively. However if the opportunity presented itself she would make her strike.

After driving his blade into Dotsu's arm, he was brought to the ground witha resounding thud; Bound by shinigami sorcery, and blasted by several attacks, black viscuous liquid spurted out onto the ground rhymically with each raspy breath. A wheezing laugh escaped ruined lungs as Moth looked up at the group through the azure lens of his mask. "..damn..shini...gami...you..have..won...noth..ing...Ka..ra...ku..ra...is..gone..ke..he..he...he...he....." He growled as the light died behind those lens.
S A W A K O ☤ H A G I W A R A Shortly after drawing her pristine black blade from its scabbard, the vice captain’s cautious gaze would soften. She could feel it on the back of her neck, the fast approach of several different reiatsu. The cavalry had arrived and with them and those present, needless to say, Sawako proceeded to tuck her zanpakuto away, securing it back on her hip. Instead, she would do as she had set out to do in the first place- watch and take note. Much to her dismay, there wasn’t much to watch but a very swift and brutal execution on the Ryoka. What a shame. The woman was hoping to see more abilities from the enemy, but her allies were just too strong and competent. At least, she was relieved they left the man intact for the most part- Sawako oddly expressing glee with clasped hands, a smile and a light squeal as the body hit the floor. Gravity would return in turn, the shinigami catching herself and landing on her feet with a bit of a wobble. Pressing her hands over her robes, sorting herself out before making her way over to the remains of their enemy.
She was close enough to him that she heard his last muttered breaths- announcing the destruction of Karakura Town. It caused her to flinch, pausing to comprehend his final message as she was unsure how valid it was. Though, she was inclined to believe the words of a dead man who had nothing to lose or gain from such bleak news. “Karakura Town...gone?” she reiterated, saying aloud as if to give it more weight to the ears. Communication with her Division would surely help confirm this, but then she didn’t have that either. Pursing her lips, Sawako clasped a piece of her hair, kneading it between her finger and thumb as she thought. “My captain might know something about this… If Karakura Town is really gone, that would be… Ah, so! Who wants to help me move this body?” she asked aloud, scanning the crowd of shinigami. “Kesato-san? No, I suppose you have your own problem at the moment. Oh, but could I have that dagger when you’re...done with it?” Before she got any reply, she knelt down next to the corpse, eager to do a preliminary inspection. Her dull eyes traced the cadaver, but were particularly drawn to the cloth that adorned it. She reached out to touch the cloak and discern what it was made of.
XXXWith the help of the fourth division captain, Rin had finished bandaging the third seat of the eleventh division. Satisified that Kazuki's underling would not be in further danger she departed upon receiving the message of another intruder in the Seretei from the hell butterfly sent by Sara. Held up making sure that an ally would not die from their injuries, Rin was late to arrive on the scene that had unfolded.
The shinigami were congregated around a prone form, leaking black fluid. Slowly she approached, a relaxed hand cautiously resting on the hilt of her ornate blade. She saw nothing, only sensing the lingering reishi of something vile. Like a dark stain upon a bright canvas, the blotch was a stark contrast to the brilliant energy that the rest of her comrades were exuding. "Is everyone alright? Is anyone injured?" Her soft voice broadcasted after Sawako's own.
She slowly knelt down beside the twelfth division member, placing a delicate hand on Sawako's shoulder for balance as she lowered herself. She slowly reached out towards the fading, shadowy spiritual beacon in front of her; Fingers plunging into a pool of something thick and sticky. Blood? She slowly raised her hand, black tarry oil lifting away with her hand in thick strands as she brought it up to her face. No, not blood. It smelled of machinery. Her hazy eyes peered forward as she stood again and turned towards a familiar presence, nudging past Kazuka and heading towards Yuisis. "Yuisis-san, what happened? What is this?"

The young, strawberry blond girl watched Dotsu give everybody an opening by restraining Moth with bands of light bound to his arms and legs, even with a knife digging into his bicep the fact he still managed to turn it around onto the attacker didn't surprise Sumire and now with the opening everybody needed to put him down, the normally passive Sumire felt as her blade not only connected but penetrated Him, quickly pulling her sword back as she slowed her movements down as not to hit her allies with the poison her sword produced. After slowing down she remained with her sword at the ready, pointed towards Moth in case he was merely faking his own death but as the light behind his lenses she breathed a sigh of relief and sealed her Shikai, sheathing the sword shortly after.
She was unprepared for the gravity to return to quickly however and fell right onto her butt with a soft thud "Ow...stupid anti gravity device. rising back up to her feet, she had work to do, it was her duty as a member of the 4th division to provide medical assistance when required and swiftly made her way over to Dotsu, urging him to sit on the ground and pulling him down so he would be sitting so she could get a good look at his injury and access the damage without having to deal with any height differences "It doesn't seem to have gone too deeply into your arm Mr Kesato, but it's going to hurt when I pull it out so I apologise in advance for this." Sumire reached under her jacket to the pouch she kept attached to the back of her obi and pulled out one of the bandages she held onto for situations exactly like this before taking a firm grip on the weapons handle and carefully began to extract the blade from Dotsu's arm, placing it on the ground once it was free and began to apply the bandage around his arm to stop the bleeding.
After the bandage had been applied Sumire moved back slightly to give the 6th divisions vice captain some room, a gentle smile appearing on the young medics face "When things get sorted out and begin to calm down, i'll give you proper medical attention but until then you'll have to make do with this." It was only a few short moments after that she heard the familiar voice of her friend, it was soft as it usually was, Sumire turned to look towards Rin and quickly got up and rushed over to her friend and embraced her into a tight hug "I knew you'd be okay Rin but I was still worried about you, I'm glad you're safe."

With one final feral slam of her sword, the anti-gravity device would shatter, as Moth would simultaneously fall from his wounds at the hands of Saki's fellow Shinigami. A few more of them had shown up, which really drove in that Moth didn't have much of a chance to do anything. The knife wound to Dotsu's arm would be taken care of, as multiple members of the 4th had arrived. It seemed as if everyone would be in good hands, but something had caught Saki's ears. Karakura had been destroyed? But how? What held that much power to wipe the entire town off of the map?
Shaking her head, the wolf girl walked over to Moth's body to take a look at it. The Ryoka was indeed dead, but it didn't mean it was completely out of the fight. A last ditch self sacrifice to take some of the enemy with you. But it didn't seem that was going to come. Saki shook her head as she then turned away from the lifeless body and began walking away from the group. She didn't really care for any of those there. No ill will towards any of them, but she hadn't bonded well with most. She was salt and vinegar with most of her fellow Shinigami, with only a few able to break through her rough exterior.

Sara puts her blade away with disappointment that her attack previously didn't have enough range, though either way, The assassin is dead with her fourth seat very close to her with paper work. "Yes of course, thank you for bringing the paper work." Sara signs the paper work and hands it back to Achana. "I would prefer Thirteenth Division not have trouble if anything "distasteful" happen with the Hell Butterfly. It would be rather scarring at that point and would bring shame to the Gotei Thirteen. Good thing is you are safe though." Sara can hear her Zanpakuto spirit kind of moan and groan about not getting a good fight in against the assassin, what could she do? Considering she used her technique that she should of gotten closer to deal some damage or not at all. Sara would lightly tap the hilt of her Zanpakuto as a way of saying"Patience, there will be a fight." Her Zanpakuto seems to shine in response of blissful manner to that suggestion and Sara is going to keep her word on it. Though something horrible must of happened in the midst of the all the chaos, the assassin mentioned that Karakura, the town in the World Of The Living perished to some unknown factor. Did it have some connection to what has been going on as if late? If so, then Sara must investigate the World Of The Living with the others.
The assassin quite met a lot of attacks head on including kido in the mix of it all as well though one of the Vice captains, Agito Mibu left shortly before the battle ended. Not a great way to show the rank of Vice Captain, something that Sara would have to remember in any case of "issues" with him. Though Sara after dealing with paper work dealing with the Hell Butter Fly she sent, she walks towards the group"Appears everyone is alright, too bad i misjudged my technique's range, ill do a lot better. Anyhow, did i hear right, that Karakura Town in the World Of The Living got destroyed?" The serious expression of shock but fierce intent to find out the problem in the World Of The Living. Whatever occur there, it just makes things more complicated. Ryoka...The Assassin...his dying words as well, she feels nothing for him but she wants to find out what caused this unknown person to attack them. What was his objective? Was it to destroy the Soul Society or distract them from a bigger battle ahead? Clearly mayhem is on the rise like a eagle flying over the mountain attacking all critters that it consider prey.
Hopefully more people will be gathered here to figure out next step of plan which is going to The World Of The Living.

Letting go the held bated breath the Vice Captain of the 9th leaned back on his shikai. The Ryoka had been felled in truth he was not expecting it to have been as swift as it had however he was more then happy to accept the results as it were. The threat was gone at least as far as the Seireitei was concerned he doubted it would be long before the lock down was lifted. Hopefully it was sooner rather than later the news about Karakura town while easily could be a lie was still unsettling, and would need to be confirmed. If in fact more of these intruders were indeed turning their attention to Earth it was only right for the Shinigami deal with such things for the sake of the soul cycle after all. Looking over at the 13th Division Vice Captain he gave her a nod leaning back up Mienaimono glowing briefly before he sheathed the blade in it's unreleased state.
"You heard correctly whatever threat these Ryoka pose may indeed be on a far greater scale then just us."He paused for a moment pushing his glassed back up the bridge of his nose with cold eyes looking off to the side to the ruined body of the Ryoka."Be that as it may until we have confirmation, and the lock down is lifted there is not much we can do but wait for our Captains orders."bringing his gaze fully towards Sara he continued talking though speaking up just enough so all around heard him as well."So I would suggest to prepare as best you can we do not know what we will be getting into so do your best to train or do whatever you feel is necessary once the orders are given I feel like we will have little time for anything else until whoever all these Ryoka were working with are all dealt with fully. "turning away from her his gaze swept over the area taking note of who all stay till the end, while he was certain the First Vice Captain had his reasons he still had provided a devastating blow to the Ryoka before he had left.
Something was off putting about it either way it was very unprofessional conduct if it had come from another Division it wouldn't be as big of an issue unless it was one of his men who had left. He always held the First to a certain standard after all they served directly beneath the General Commander their was a certain elite status that had to be maintained after all. For now though there were more important things to deal with perhaps once this was all over he would see about it.
Who would've thought that victory would've come at such an opportune time? His kidou meant solely to imprison for the others to capitalize on worked just as planned. It had to, the end result was meant to turn out this way. Watching the being fall lifelessly to the ground face first put his spirit at ease. Though it was only short-lived once he heard him speak on Karakura Town being gone. Dotsu's eyes widened slightly out of surprise. Exactly what was the end goal here?
Thankfully the altered gravity dissipated leaving everyone to land on their feet. Though for Dotsu, he was led to sit on the ground as Sumire began to remove the blade in his bicep. A temporary medical attention given the circumstances was understandable. Enough for Dotsu to not even say a word in response. Instead his eye twitched a bit as his bicep was reacting to the extraction. It was sharp but bearable and the bandaged made the pain feel like nothing but a measley sting. With all the other soul reapers gathered and the news of Karakura Town being destroyed left so many questions to wanderlessly roam. With patience and a bit of effort, Dotsu used his good arm to push himself back to his feet. "My whole division was attacked by this one person and with each encounter, he deliberately came after me. He even went as far as to call me a quarry. There's too many pieces left to this puzzle...excuse me." Not one left for further conversation as he knew nothing else to say. All he knew was, a few members were slaughtered and he was the next target. If what everybody else said was true, then Dotsu needed to be prepared like everyone else. Something is coming.
S A W A K O ☤ H A G I W A R A So fascinated with her subject, Sawako hardly reacted to the others, but she was partially listening. Though she was surprised to find a hand on her shoulder, kneeling down to examine the body with her. This girl was Akagi-san, if she remembered correctly, a fellow vice captain. Was she interested in the ryoka as well? The gooey tar-like substance that leaked from the corpse and now covered the girl’s dainty hand, it was almost certainly some time of oil. Taking this cadaver apart was sure to yield some interesting results! Akagi didn’t stick around after that, taking her leave to converse with Vice Captain Sanada. Sawako contemplated inviting the girl back to the Twelfth Division with her to observe the autopsy. But the thought was interrupted with the sound of metal hitting the ground with a clank. Her eyes darted over to the bloody dagger beside Kesato and that adorable medic from before. The researcher scrambled over to snatch the blade up in her hand and carefully wrap it up in cloth before securing it on her person. With her prize tucked away and seeing as no one acknowledged her request, it would appear transporting the victim rested solely on the woman’s shoulders. Fair enough, it seemed everyone else was preoccupied with the disturbing news their enemy bestowed upon them. From her point of view, there was no reason to completely believe Karakura Town was destroyed. And even if that was the case, getting worked up about it would do them no good- so for the time, Sawako would do things at her own pace as usual. Standing before the oozing remains, the woman sighed, tucking her dark hair back behind her ear as was reduced to doing the heavy lifting alone. Scooping his lifeless form up and over her shoulder, they would make their way back to the research lab.
XXXRin felt a familiar figure approach and embrace her. She was unsure who it was at first before the woman spoke. The familiar lilt of her voice betrayed the presence as Sumire, one of her best friends. "Ah! Sumire! I'm so glad you're okay." Rin chimed, breaking her normal cool reverie to hug the girl back in a tight, albeit ligament popping, embrace. She buried her face in Sumire's chest and sighed softly as they stood there. "What were they saying about Karakura just now?"
Rin's question went unanswered by those departing quickly from the area. Hopefully, they were heading to the Earthbound town to figure out what had transpired, and hopefully, Sumire would fill her in on what had happened here. Either way, Rin was eager to be of assistance to whoever needed it. The day had been a long one full of hardships and pain and maybe she could help soothe that, in whatever way she knew how.
After seeing the enemy defeated Kazuka received word that earth was currently under attack and needed assistance from a hell butter fly and deceived to leave quickly to hlep out the earth realm
Turning away from the group Aidoneus began making his way in the direction of the 9th Division, they had just received word that the lock down had been lifted now that the Ryoka had been dealt with. Unless ordered other wise he planned on returning to his duties here in the Seireitei. If they needed several Vice Captain level shinigami down on Earth they would let him know, but until then he would leave it to the others it was not in the Earth's best interest for such levels of reiatsu to continually be gathered in one place it would have a rather lasting effect on a immeasurable number of souls. Stopping for a moment he tilted his head to the side. "If you are heading to Earth I wish you luck, and if the situation is proving dire enough please send word for reinforcements."
Leaving them with that he picked up the pace disappearing in a flash as he took to the top of the walls. It was certainly a much easy move of travel then trying to figure out the twist, and turns of the meandering labyrinth in between the Divisions. And Aidoneus was certainly in a hurry to get back to the 9th to make sure everyone in his squad was accounted for after the events that had transpired.
There was certainly much to ponder not only that though Aidoneus as coming to terms with his own growing power as of late since he had unlocked the secrets of his Bamkai he had felt his power rising at quite the rate. He felt much of it had to do in large part because of his close bond with his Zanpakuto spirit. Bringing a hand down he idly grasped the hilt of his Zanpakuto giving it a soft squeeze.
~"Wonderful job...my old friend...just to think there was a time when you didn't even know my name."~ The voice of Mienaimono of his zanpakuto reverberated through his mind, and he could swear even though he had not manifested it's spirit that it could feel his hand upon his shoulder as he moved across the Seireitei. "Yes I have learned much about you since when I was but a fledgling in the academy, though knowing you there is still much I do not yet know." all he got in response was a soft fading chuckle for now that was all the answered he needed Mienaimono as always was equal parts mysterious, and obvious all at the same time. Taking a sharp turn he began moving further on heading for the North West section of the Seireitei where not only his Division was settled but the Combat Focused 11th, and the Advanced Guard of the 10th were as well. Speaking of the 10th he was not at all envious of them in the current situation knowing many of the other squads reluctance for paper work then 10th was going to be absolutely swamped with it. For many the Ryoka event was well and over as far as they knew, but for the next couple of days or even weeks the 10th would still be feeling the effects if only in paper cuts, and long hours into the night.
Still they all had their duties each and every one of them contributing working to keep the Seireitei running. The 9th would be busy getting the next issue of the Seireitei News out the Ryoka Incident would certainly be front, and center there were plenty of Vice Captains, and Seated Members to Shine the spotlight on for their hard work. He would have to see if some of their members all had some ideas for some more light hearted pieces on top of focusing on the amazing work of Seireitei's fast response to keep up morale. Yes that should at least help, and they would be reminisced not to included a memorial piece in honor of those lost in this attack thanking them for their loyal service wishing them piece in the next life. Some might think it easy work, and at times especially in times of peace it was in times like those the Seireitei News was filled with more domestic pieces however in times like these it was an important source of information that many turned to and Aidoneus would not let them down in these trying times.
Coming to a stop at least he dropped down back onto the streets a small distance away from the 9th division HQ. Pushing his glasses up back in place on the bridge of his nose he took a deep breath bring his hand up further to brush back his hair back into place. He was very precise about the way he looked especially as the Vice Captain he felt that he needed to possess a certain air of professionalism about him at all times. It was something he hoped to instill into the other members of the division over time as well. After all as a Division among the 13 Court Guard they were indeed professionals, and his seated officers even more so for him the sign of professionalism was important if you wished to get anyway in this life, and he would hold that belief to the 9th division for as long as he was apart of it. Feeling that everything was all put together he walked the rest of the way back to the HQ.

Feeling her friend hug her just as tight if not more tightly than she had hugged her filled the young medic with joy, just glad to know that her friend was safe, before hearing her friend asked what the others had said about Karakura. Sumire pulled away from her friend a little to look at her, her voice going softer than usual as she recounted what the intruder had said "In the intruders final breathes he said that despite us beating him we won nothing...he said that Karakura is gone, he might have been lying but I don't see what a dying man has to gain from a lie like that..." Sumire paused for a short moment before hugging her friendly tightly again and pulling away completely "I'm sure the others are already on their way to check if what he said was true and I wish it is a lie but I doubt it."
Sumire watched as everybody began to leave the area and figured she should probably head back to the 4th divisions HQ, a medics duty is never over after all even if things have calmed down "I should return back to HQ, I'm sure they would appreciate another set of hands to help even with things calming down after this attack." the strawberry blonde girl turned to look at her friend once more "If you need me, you know you can usually find me there. If you're going to check out Karakura good luck and please stay safe." She said before turning off and running off back towards the 4th divisions HQ.
