At first he'd seriously wondered if maybe he'd pushed it or something; in the list of words he associated with Nadia in his head, 'floozy' definitely wasn't one of them. Then she'd said she was one, so maybe it was a joke? - it must be a joke, and she sounded pleased, and - it was the silliest possible thing to get thrilled about, but those words, 'I love when you call me beautiful', they did just that: thrill him. "I couldn't stop - you know I can't lie, " he added with a grin that almost had an edge of boldness, maybe even mischief to it - almost.

Lorne tilted his head to a side as she explained the dancing, and the feelings that went into it. He couldn't really imagine it, of course - his body was too stiff, too awkward, too unsure to open himself up to something like that. But Nadia, even if he still hadn't seen her dance for himself - just the way she carried herself, he could imagine she would be great at it. "I love the way you talk about dancing, " he admitted. "It's so... I don't know. Intense." Intense could be a bad thing, but he didn't see her energy as anything but good; he was drawn to her intensity from the start, after all.

The same way he was drawn to her when she was like this, these brief little interludes of awkwardness or uncertainty. He wondered sometimes if other people got to see Nadia like this; he couldn't imagine himself being an exception, but he always rationed that he didn't need to be. It was enough that she felt comfortable enough to talk to him like this, maybe confide in him a little. - whether or not he totally deserved it.

He nodded along, slowly, reaching out to coil their fingers loosely together. "I understand." Of course he did. Change was a tricky subject; either it happen all at once too fast, or it didn't feel like anything was changing at all. Either way, fear was very much a staple of life. Didn't he know it. "Like our plants, right? - they grow up from little shoots so fast - " When Nadia took care of them, anyway.

" - I bet they probably get scared too. But - sometimes they grow fruits, or flowers, or - s-sometimes they just get to stand tall and strong and - and they're still them, like you're still you, and - god, this is probably an awful, awful analogy, " he murmured with a groan, waving his free hand in the air like he was trying to ward off a bad smell. "Let's try again. I understand. I'm here to listen, or - or hold your hand, or distract you, or - I know it's a lot and I'm sorry, " why was he even apologizing? "But I'm here." He already said that. "And I've always liked you, and I wasn't trying to say you were a baby plant before, your stems were always nice."

Really?

He blushed.

Really?? What in the hell was that supposed to be now?!

"I-I-I mean. Uh. Whether you've got new bits or not, you're still Nadia to me - and I'll always like you. A-and it's okay to be scared, but I'm here. To, uh, help. And such."

God, why would anyone want to talk to him about this stuff?

"I know you can't handsome. It's also why I like you, I don't feel like you say cheesy lines, or try to lie to me." She shrugged a bit in his arms, "I don't feel like its a game of who does what and who will break first. It doesn't feel like a game at all. It feels right, and happy and good." She flushed again. "Sorry it's just, I really have never had anything like this. I'll try not to gush about it."

She blinked and then held his face. "One day, I will dance for you. And only you. And then one day, You will see me and Colin together. That's my goal." She laughed, "One day, I want to dance with the friend I admire so much, for the man that I-" She stopped suddenly and then froze.

But he was talking and she didn't have to worry about the thoughts that were right there. The words she wasn't even ready for herself to say.

"I get it handsome." She laughed and kissed his cheek. "I know what you are trying to say. I always do." She kissed his cheek again. "Are my stems still really nice? Do my stems...please you handsome?"

God she adored him. She really really adored him. Liked him. Loved him?Maybe. She never knew what love was like, but she hoped she was leaning towards it.

As always, Lorne flushed deep red at the unexpected praise - but as always, he was smiling. "No, it's - I know what you mean, " he said softly, fidgeting a bit. "I feel the same way - I mean you tease me, but you're really... I'm really comfortable with you, " and he slid his fingers tentatively through her hair, gentle as always, grinning sheepishly. "I just... you make me happy too, and... saying it like this doesn't really feel like enough, and I can barely even do this, " and he laughed, his gaze dropping then rising again, trying to will himself to look at her instead of their laps or the bed. "Sorry."

Then her hands were on his face, soft and small, and his cheeks burned against them. He wanted to say so much about that, about how much he wanted to see her dance for him, how much he'd loved to see his two favorite people dance together, how much he wanted to see her succeed - but the words failed him. There was still a limit to how much he could come right out and say.

His eyes said it though, more than he knew. He looked her dead in the eye when she spoke, and he didn't once feel compelled to look away.

Then after all that he groaned and fell forward, limp (but not too limp; he didn't want to hurt her by accident) and burying his burning face against her shoulder. "Just let me die here, it's okay. I've had a good life, " he mumbled against her.

His arms curled around her, holding her close and keeping her there. Slowly, because he wanted this to be deliberate no matter how fast or hard his heart pounded, he tilted his head and pressed his lips lightly against the side of her neck.

"Of course I tease you, it's the only way I could show my affection, Handsome." She was super happy with all the attention, and Lorne, as per always was fantastically sweet and caring with her.

"You can't die here handsome." She laughed, curling around him, "If you die, then I must perish along side you!" She laughed again.

She stretched just a bit as she felt the lips on her neck, and a small pleased sound came out. Her neck tilted a little more for easier access.

Please please please. Touch her more Lorne, Kiss her more.

He grinned for a minute when she said that, and then realized it was probably messed up to smile when she was talking about dying with him - but he was still smiling like an idiot anyway.

Lorne sucked in a sharp breath at the sound Nadia made, shutting his eyes and letting it settle into his bones before he kissed her again. His hands slid slowly up along her back and back down again, and his lips were less tentative against her skin, but his heart beat as hard as ever against his chest, and his cheeks were stained red.

He didn't know exactly what he wanted, just - not too much, he just - wanted to see. Other people, playfully, spitefully, sometimes unknowingly tested his limits so much, and he - maybe he sort of wanted to see where his limits were for himself. Or maybe just to be close to Nadia. Both, probably.

Either way, he liked this.

She didn't even care they joked about dying. In the life they lived, it was most likely bound to happen sooner...rather then later.

But she couldn't focus on that, when she could feel his soft lips on her skin, and his hands running across her body. She didn't even see what was playing on the screen anymore, because of how drawn into his gaze she was. He was hypnotizing her, and he probably didn't even know it.

Her body arched to accommodate the need for touches and kisses, her legs stretching underneath him.

She only moved as he wanted, she didn't press him, or move him more.

He could explore as much as he wanted. Test as much as he wanted.

He didn't have any idea - he couldn't imagine having that kind of sway over Nadia, even if he knew she felt as strongly for him as he did for her. He hummed softly, a tiny but warm little sound in the back of his throat, as she shifted, the surge of heat coursing through him almost overwhelming but it was okay - it was good and it was intoxicating and a little scary.

Was scary even the right word, though? Every nerve on end, his heart pounding, all of his senses alive with her, and - was it scary, or was it thrilling? Were they really so far apart?

Curious, still, he drew his hands from her back down to her legs, carefully sliding his hands once up and down over her thighs, fingers light and quick. A spark of awe danced in his eyes taken aback by the power he knew was there as a dancer and a warrior. He'd seen her as once, but not yet as the other.

Then he leaned in and caught her lips with his own, still soft and a little unsure, but - less, and more.

He didn't seem to want to end, so she didn't stop him. She was happy enough being spoiled by his touches and the gentle way the roamed over her body. It was like watching someone explore a new thing, and she was, exploring a new thing with him.

She was thrilled, terrified that she might spook him and suddenly they would fall back into the awkward blushes and glances. She was, in all means, patient. But she was also needy.

His hands down her thighs erupted a gentle moan of pleasure, because as a dancer, her legs were her babies. They were her pride and joy. Hard work, and persistence in her dance, were the reward for the nicely shaped tan legs.

His kiss was met with a eagerness and longing for more. Just more. She would never get tired of what he offered. Her hands slipped up to his hair, gently threading into the silky black locks.

The sound she made, it made it hard for Lorne to breathe - his breath caught in his throat like a kernel of their popcorn, and he wondered briefly if that was normal. - but he liked the way she sounded, and even sort of liked the way he shivered when she did it.

When her hand slid into his hair he sighed into their kiss, some tension he hadn't even realized he'd been holding onto slipping from his shoulders as he deepened it. Slowly, carefully, he expanded his area of exploration as he carefully began to shift their positions - fingertips danced cautious but wanting just beneath the hem of her shirt, testing the ridges of her hips, the soft firmness of her stomach, even daring to go far enough to slide along her sides.

He'd eased her down against the bed, leaning down over her, when he finally broke the kiss, his eyes glassy in the good way as he took a deep, shaking breath. Lorne was practically trembling, partly from nerves, mostly from something more. But he smiled that sheepish smile and gave breathy little peal of laughter. "We - we sort of met like this, right?" His head felt light, like he was dreaming but awake. "It was - it was the other way, but - do you remember?"

She could feel the slow shift of dominance here, the way he was slowly growing into the leading, how she felt when he held her. Her breath caught as fingertips barely brushed at her side and she shivered.

She shivered, and pined for more. How could she express more, when she didn't want to ruin it. Her heart was literally in her throat. She didn't feel like this would be sex. Sex was so easy. Sure she had been seduced and seduced others, but she had never had such tenderness. Such care.

It had never meant so much that he approved of her. She felt the press of bed on her back, inhaling air slowly as he pulled away and staring at him with half lidded teal eyes. His inquiry broke through the hazy liquid that was her brain at the moment before she hummed, smiling back at him.

"As I remember." She stretched underneath him, "That the roles were quite reversed Handsome. And I do believe you looked like you might die." She casually slipped a glance downwards. "But that doesn't look much different." She teased and then leaned her head up, kissing his nose. "Oh Lorne. I feel like warm melted chocolate." Warm...melted chocolate? Wow she couldn't even words right. Good job Lorne!

He wished he could say in any kind of words how amazing Nadia looked when she stared up at him like that, her eyes half-lidded and a smile on her face. He opened his mouth to try and say how much he liked it, but again, his words failed him. If it'd been any other time he would have been quietly frustrated, but this moment was just too perfect to waste being self-deprecating. So instead, he just leaned closer, even just half an inch, and watched her.

Lorne turned all sorts of interesting colors at her comment, but he was still grinning, sheepishily but toothily, his gaze dropping and then rising again as he remembered himself. With Nadia especially, looking away was a habit he was trying desperately hard to break. "You taste better than chocolate, " and it wasn't the lamest thing he could have said, but it also wasn't the best; still, even as he said it softly, his voice was heavy and husky with sensations he was still so new to.

He shut his eyes for a moment and tried to process it, her smell, her softness, the sensation of her body against his and what it did to him. He liked her; he liked her so much it literally ached. Maybe, no, he most definitely did more than like her. But anything else felt like such a big word, and there were so many ways he saw himself destroying this beautiful thing he didn't think he deserved in the first place.

'What if I'm not good at this?' The thought, up until now, had been present but always on the back burner. Even if he knew from the beginning that he and Nadia would end up more intimate somewhere down the line, it'd been little hints, little teases, mostly hugs and kisses and some lingering touches. But he'd never been with a girl, especially not someone as amazing and special as Nadia. Intimacy had been so hard in his last relationship, and Lorne knew she'd known other people. But it wasn't a question he could just come out and ask. It'd ruin the moment for one thing, and he didn't really want to ruin this.

He pressed closer to her with a soft, almost silent little gasp, sliding a hand through her hair like he loved to do. "You make me feel..." The words would fail, and he knew that before he even started. But it was okay; he just kissed her again, quivering as he deepened it. Maybe it would say enough.

The range of colors on his face were nothing knew, so as they played over the cute little cheeks of his, she relaxed, easily comfortable on the bed she owned. It was soft and light and fluffy for a reason.

"Do I now?" She laughed, "High praise, My handsome boyfriend. Very. Very. Very. High praise." She could see the shift and feel the shift of his emotions in his eyes, in his body. Lorne wasn't good at hiding things, so she watched them carefully. Watched him carefully.

She felt the pressure of him lowered on her and curled her arms around his neck, laying there with a lazy embrace. One leg slid up and around his waist, running down his own leg. "I make you feel-" She urged before she was dragged into another kiss. Deeper and deeper she fell. She eased back though, because she felt like she was aching, and she didn't know how much more she could take.

This was just too much teasing and temptation.

"Lorne?" She whispered, "If you keep kissing all my thoughts away handsome, I'm not going to be able to control myself." Her lips had wandered against his neck, where she had whispered the words. To show him, she gave him a little bite on the neck, leaving her mark there. "I'm gonna eat you all up."

The moment she eased back, for a split-second, doubt flickered in Lorne's eyes - because even if he knew this was okay, the subconscious fear that he'd do something wrong wasn't so easy to shake.

He realized, quickly, that it wasn't about doing something wrong at all; it'd been the other thing instead. He'd just barely wrapped his brain around the idea, shivering at her breath against his neck, when her teeth closed on the sensitive skin. Caught off guard, he couldn't really bite back the short, startled, and mostly pleased sound that escaped him - and it carried.

If he'd been red before, just imagine him then, pursing his lips tight like he could somehow take it back. The urge to apologize rose and fell in him, because it wasn't anything to apologize for, it was just - loud.

Undoubtedly because he was already mortified beyond belief, and maybe a little because her gesture had landed him in a position where he didn't have to stare her straight in the face, he said in possibly the quietest, smallest way imaginable: "Maybe that's okay."

Then, he kissed her hair, stroking it gently again with his fingers, then let those same fingers fall to her shoulder. "Can we... go to the park tomorrow, maybe? - I could read to you, if you want?" And because he knew her, he added, "It's okay if you sleep while I do."

"Handsome you can't say those things and bury your face in my shoulder." She laughed, pushing him up a bit and smiling. "Then you become a tease, and you are already enough of a teaseeeeeeee."

"If that's what you want to do handsome..." She laughed at his knowing of her sleeping habits. "I would love for you to read my into a deep slumber, just as long as I get a kiss to wake me up." She teased again.

"Are you going to stay the night?" She cocked her head, "No sex, just...cuddling?"

"Tease?" Lorne repeated with wide eyes, his cheeks red and a smile reflected on his own face; he laughed with her. "That's a first." He'd never been called a tease before. Many things, yes, but a tease, even playfully? Not ever.

The answer was clear, and there was no reason to fumble with it. "I do, " and he sounded about as confident as ever when he said it, with the kind of vibrant smile that was more or less only for Nadia. "I might be a knight, but I'll play prince."

And again... he didn't hesitate. "Yes, " and he almost got flustered at the bluntness of his own answer, taken aback by his own enthusiasm. His smile grew more sheepish, and he shrugged his shoulders helplessly. "I like waking up with you, " and that time he did blush, even if he hoped she knew what he meant.
