Azzo laughed, "Yeah sleeping in will totally be on the list." He shook his head and then nodded when she said cheese and mushrooms adding mushrooms to the list as cheese had already been put on it. He added also onion, ham and green peppers.
"I'm sure Snowball's found things to add to your stuff to. I know I've seen at least one purple cape and hat. Ohh, speaking of there's a catfe in town. Ran by a senshi, we're welcome there anytime. Snowball's gone with Snowswirl the bearded wasn't it? For a 'I'm no magical cat name.'" Azzo added air quotes.
He sighed and yawned slightly as he finished off his last piece of pizza. His belly would at least be happy for now."I'll let you sleep in. It's usually Azzo that doesn't do the sleeping in."
He paused when she was pinching his cheeks and making kissy faces. The cat looked a little worried, and started laughing, "Well at least I won't run out of accessories."
He purred when she started scritching behind his ears. "Mmmmm, yesss and you have to come to the catfe~" He added nuzzling into her hand. He had missed his senshi.

"A catfe...?" She said the word quizically, turning it over in her head. Certainly she understood what it was, it was simply a strange concept. At least to someone that hadn't always been a pet person. But getting to hang out and relax with cute fluffy animals didn't sound bad. And she was glad that Snowball had found something fun to do that didn't necessarily put him directly into dangers way. "I'll come take a look, for sure." Even if it was simply to check in on the people and cats Snowball was hanging around with. Perhaps thank the senshi that was running it.
"How long am I going to get this wonderful spoiled treatment?" She teased playfully as they agreed to let her sleep in. She wasn't serious of course, but with the sleeping in and breakfast (she wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being breakfast in bed), it seemed kind of like she was being pampered. "You think a week until everything is back to normal?" Aurora winked.
She pulled Snowball into fluffy cuddle again, giving him a kiss on the top of his head, and Merlin a soft scratch in between his ears before she stood up, pushing her chair back. "I guess we should push pause until the morning. Bedtime for me."
Her gaze flicked over to Azzo. He was going to bed too right?

Azzo nodded, "Yeah it's a little strange but it's a cafe where you take your cats . . . " He gave a little shrug, "Tharen of the blackwatch is running it." He paused, "They may have formed while you were gone. It's so hard to remember what all you've missed out on. . ."
He sighed softly when she asked how long she was going to get the pampered treatment, "Well, that depends, I mean seriously you were gone for a year. I gotta make up for some of that with something." He had gotten up to put up the pizza's since they'd cooled off. For now they went to the fridge he'd worry about combining boxes and shoving them into a freezer later even if she was against the idea.
"Oh? Sleep well," He noticed her looking at him. Scratching behind his head, "I'm going to head to bed in a minute." He added as he looked around the kitchen. Secretly he wanted to make sure that they had everything even though he was fairly tired after not having slept a lot while in Alaska, it wasn't much different than not sleeping here. "I was figuring on getting the coffee pot ready for in the morning." He said, "Hopefully we have everything for that. . ."
He smiled, "You should go to bed though Princess~" He said with a nod.Snowball purred and nodded when she asked about the Catfe, "It's pretty fancy, I think you'd like it. There's a place for all the guardian cats in the back."
"Welllll, that's an Azzo question." He decided as the knight said he had a lot to make up for. Really they had missed a year or better. . . When Aurora pulled him into the hug he couldn't even try to escape until she let him down.
His tail flickered, "I'm coming~" He announced looking back at Azzo shooting a grin, he was planning on stealing one of Polaris' pillows for a sleeping spot, "If you don't care that is."Merlin's tail flickered as he was scratched behind the ears giving a soft woof and licking Aurora's hand. When she was finished he trotted to the dog bed in the corner of the room.

She frowned a little when he took her joke seriously, concern touching her features at the sigh. Shuffing over to him she left herself to her tip toes so she could plant a soft kiss on his cheek, trying to raise the mood again. "You're so silly. If anyone needs to make up for it it's me. Alright?" She was the one that left after all. The one that abandoned them.
She was disappoint that he'd miss her hint. Not that she'd been clear enough about it.. but still... naive, oblivious Azzo. Why hadn't he gotten the hint from her gaze? Really all she wanted was for him to go to bed with her. For as wonderful as sleep sounded it did not compare even slightly to the thought of curling up and falling asleep in the arms of her fiance. Cuddled against the warmth of his body, careful cradled in his soft embrace. They were home now and nothing could stop them. Well.. except apparently oblivious Azzo.
Snowball, however, wasn't a bad consolation prize. "Of course I don't care. I'd love the company." She smiled, motioning for the fluffy Guardian to come along. There was plenty of room on her bed full of pillows.
Lingering only a moment longer she offered Azzo a soft good night before she left with Snowball. "Don't stay up too late... alright?"
"I love you."

He chuckled and winked at her before moving to kiss her back. "Psh, well then we both have things to make up for."
He tilted his head at her, she seemed disappointed he wasn't going to bed at the same time she was. When it dawned on him he didn't say anything either. He just smiled, and let Snowball take care of it. When she told him not to stay up too late he nodded, "Of course not. I love you too."
When she was gone upstairs he sighed a little bit. Looking down at the kitchen sink as he leaned on the counter, "She needs the rest," He said quietly to himself, "She wouldn't be able to rest if I keep having nightmares." Truth be told he couldn't rest either most nights.Snowball's tail flickered as she said she'd love the company. He followed her up the stairs to the bed room and when they were out of ear shot in her room, "You know, he probably does want to sleep with you. . . though if the nightmares I've seen are any indication . . . he doesn't want to trouble you with them. They're pretty bad, and if you're really as tired as you look. . . it maybe best to wait." Snowball said after hopping up on her bed looking at her.
"Give him time." He wasn't dumb, he knew what she wanted, probably what she expected specially when she said he could have her room; and the pair was engaged. "Trust me when you seen what he goes through at night you'll wonder how he's even still functioning; when he's scared to sleep. They gotten better since the -- I assume it was some sort of nightmare shards or something were found -- Zirconia apparently had to track them down . . . Though his dreams are still rough and fairly vivid from what I can tell."
Snowball yawned and stretched seriousness fading slowly. "Can't tell you how many times I sat watching him struggle against those dreams. He'll be okay though, he's tough." Snowball was already locating a place to curl up as he waited for Aurora to get ready for bed.

When they got to her bedroom Aurora quickly began to dig through her drawers, pulling out a night gown she hadn't worn in forever, her fingers brushing softly over the silky fabric before she finally went about putting it on, her back turned to Snowball, even if he was a cat.
A harsh flush hit her face though when Snowball spoke, making it clear that he'd read what she had assumed Azzo hadn't. Ughh... wasn't that the point of secret looks? So he would know but others wouldn't?
Luckily she didn't have very long to be embarassed or flustered because her emotions quickly swapped to concern, a frown marring her face. "Nightmares...?" Sitting on the bed with a sigh, her fingers found the place between Snowball's shoulders, scratching delicately. She was being so selfish again. Self absorbed in petty stuff while he suffered silently. Suffered while pretending everything was okay. While taking care of her, when there was noone taking care of him. Well.. noone but Snowball.
And were they even.. her fault.. the nightmares? They always said the one you loved was the one capable of hurting you the most...
As Snowball continued on in his explaination, she listened, the pit in her stomach growing larger and heavier. Even if she could be feel.. a little better that the dreams might not be ALL her fault. The words were still hard to hear, like a knife stabbing at her heart. She shifted along with him as he moved up to her pillow, laying her head down on the pillow beside him. Though by the time he was curling up, she'd already turned her back to him, hoping in his tiredness he wouldn't see the tears welling in her eyes and eventually working their way down her cheeks.
And one more thing to the list that she needed to make up for. One more thing she had to fix now that she was back. Only... she wasn't entirely certain how fixable a problem like this was. Especially if he preferred to continue his suffering in silence.LP Fin unless you want another post. <3
