"Promise to be more confident?" Lamia smiled and gave Setsuko's hand a squeeze. "I hate it when people are too afraid to just be themselves. I feel like we can do some incredible things together," she glanced to Melanie, "and I won't have my president second-guessing herself all the time." Lamia wouldn't take no for an answer. After all, she was one of the first Succubi.
"C'mon, let's go see my mom. With her help you could do anything you wanted, promise!" She said getting up. Setsuko should be floating in hypnosis right now. Whatever rational part of brain that said this was wrong would be dominated by either other part of brain telling it to quit being lame.
"Melanie-sempai?" She said to her redheaded kouhai. "You remember how to get to mom's, right?" Hopefully she didn't, but this would be a good test. "Let me just text her..."

"... That's weird. She;s at the park. Oh well~ Guess we'll just meet her there!" Skipping, Lamia would leave the manga room to find her mother Lilith. Though they couldn't see it, Lamia's face looked troubled.
"I... I'll try." It was the best answer she could give given her that she had been this way her whole life. When Laura spoke of meeting with her mother Setsuko felt a little excited. If she was who Laura said she was then Setsuko was about to meet an actual manga writer. There was so much she could ask her. She smiled and followed Laura, the hypnosis overwriting all her fears. She was so caught up she forget to pick up her bag or leave Melanie the key to lock up.

As Laura asked Melanie if she remembered how to get here Melanie paused for a moment, placing her index over her ching while looking up, being thoughtful about it. There were blurry images of something. Struggling shadows but nothing clear for her as it all laid hidden in a veil of darkness. Crashing into the dimly lit room, Janus twirled about with the grace of a hurricane--seen from miles above, of course.
"Lilith~! We're He~here--OOPH!!" Quick on the interception, as always, the MoS had flung a flip-flop off her foot with enough speed to even silence the goddess of doors. After she stood there with one hand clutching her phone even more tightly than before and another making a "shh!" sign against her succulent lips.
"Phone! --Huh, yeah, I'm still here. So let's talk about this tomorrow. Sister TwoFace just walked in." Click and glare. Janus, still shelled from the sandal (sandalschocked?), was laughing nervously, but grinning all the same. She presented Setsuko like a prize on some cheesy gameshow.
"Look who I found though!"
"... Hi~" Lilith couldn't stay grumpy for long, not with her best pawn in the room. "Where on Earth have you been? 'Mere, let's catch up." Lilith fanned her graceful hand out to reveal a desk with a light pointing to nothing but empty, aching, longing space. ... Did she know?
Putting her suitcase to the side Setsuko clutched her other bag like a shield in case Lilith got mad at her. "I...I was at a convention. I did get permission from the school board to go so long as I brought back material for the club." To emphasize this she opened the large bag. Inside were several bundles of manga ranging from popular artists to unknowns.
Lilith rolled her eyes at the young one before her as Janus threw up her arms into a casual elbow-hammock and took a seat.
"Oh, yeah, school... So, how's that going? Are there any humans left here?" She chuckled a little; expecting her pawns to wrangle all the kids was a tall order, and she definitely did mean to hint at Setsuko's quota. Whether or not she would get it was another story.
"Don't worry, Lily, we'll get 'em!" Said Janus spinning in her chair. She kicked off a wall and found herself staring up at Lilith. A big goofy thumbs up went full-on imax up at the MoS.
"Honey, won't you sit?" Asked Lilith spinning Janus around with her foot.
Putting down the bag Setsuko sat down. "S...Sorry. I'm still getting used to this devil stuff." As she was about to hang her head she remembered something. "But erm... Mrs.Lilith I did find out something." Raising her hand Setsuko's sacred gear appeared. "It just sort of appeared."
"Oh, you'll get used to it in no time~" Lilith waved off Setsuko's worry like the aroma of two-day-old cabbage--that had been left out in the sun! She returned to nods as her pawn presented her apparently upgraded prize.
That's not bad at all... Wait, is this new?
"That's... Interesting. What does it do?" Lilith would sort of fail at pretending, for once, even if on purpose, to remind Setsuko she knew all about the gear--well, not all about it, but certainly that it was there, which was why she turned her in the first place. Janus winked from across the room: a nonverbal CALLED IT!
Looking at her hand for a moment Setsuko held it over the table. The jewel in the center glowed for a moment as it recalled the last thing she touched when it was active before it went "Duplicate!" and a dozen pens appeared and dropped onto the table. "I can make copies of things. But they don't last long usually an hour. Though they disappear when I don't have this thing." Setsuko didn't have really any idea what it was. She had just assumed it was a devil thing. "Is this normal for devils?"
"I see..." Lilith nodded and watched, chewing on a pen she picked up from the duplication. If I could just get her to duplicate me... No! What about the souls! ... Can those be duplicated? Oh, this needs more experimentation.
"No, this is definitely not a normal thing, not even for devils," She said smirking. "You're one of the lucky ones with a sacred gear. That makes you pretty damn valuable--one of the reasons I took you under my wing, in fact." In true Rias form she switched and recrossed her legs as she said this, eyes glowering down at the young pawn with pride and expectations.
"It's true," said Janus throwing a ball up and down. "You're our number one pawn right now. Lilith, what do you think? Forth ranked in the organization?" Lilith seemed to chuckle internally.
"Yeah, I think you might be right." She put a hand on her chest. "See, there's me. I'm number one, obviously. Then Lamia, the that idiot." "HEY!"
"Sacred Gear..." Her mother always said she was special but it was strange to find out how right she was. As the gear faded away so did the pens. "I'm fourth ranked..." Looking at Lilith there was a touch of concern on her face. "What about Melanie? She's much stronger than me."
"Fifth," said Lilith with a shrug. Clearly it was a distant fifth in her eyes. She just thought of the girl as such a loose cannon, you know?
"Don't you worry about who's stronger than who here," she continued reaching out to stroke Setsuko's cheek a couple times as she got up to go to the blackboard. "That's not how things work in the Lilith organization. We arrange ourselves by one criterion: aptitude for quota." She wrote the last words down on the board and began scrawling out a chart of sorts.
"Don't wish it away," whispered Janus as she rolled up to the pawn. "I know a lot of people who would absolutely kill to have your spot. Trust me, in a minute you'll see just how big a deal this is; how big our organisation is." A heavy moment went by before Lilith finally turned around.
"So, there it is: the system. I thought of this to help me corner the market on souls... Questions, you have lots of them no doubt. Go right ahead." Lilith set down her chalk, its tacking sound a punctuation to her palpable confidence.
After Lilith's explanation of quota all Setsuko could do was blush. Fiddling with her fingers Setsuko swallowed nervously. "Bu...But I've... I've never even had a date or kissed anyone. How can I get people to sign away their.... Their souls?" Being such a shy girl Setsuko wasn't exactly the most suited to being a succubus.
"Are you kidding me? You're perfect!" Janus couldn't help giggle at this. "What does everyone like? Purity. You're it, girl, rock it!" More laughs.
"This is what we used to do with Lamia... Poor thing. You're time will be much more sophisticated." Here she had to pick her words somewhat carefully. "Look, I know it can seem like it's impossible, but trust me, there are people who have it worse rougher than you. Like me for example. You don't wanna know what happens if I miss quota..." Lilith was like a centrifuge of subterfuge. Janus whistled 'whew!' off to the side.
"Point is, you've got a lot of people helping you achieve--well, anything you want. We're here for you." There was that warm smile again.
Misty Taw Sacred Gear:Vritras's Scale: Rise of the Juggernaught
While different from the Juggernaught drive. It earned it's name because of it's atrocious resistance and endurance in battle. This scale was blessed with Vritra's Physical Strength and Endurance which enhances the wielders endurance in battle. How far would they go it's up to their will. Deep within lies a destructive force that would consume it's wielder if they aren't careful, which is why the wielder needs to be in constant activity to keep the Scale dormant.
"I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!" Dashing in with the grace and delicacy of a rhyno on stampede, The brunette rushed in, as the busy student she was, she also signed in as a volunteer for the Art club's maintenance. Heading straight at the wardrobe where the cleaning gears were located, she took on the mop and broom like sword and shield. Even the tiniest particle of dust would tremble at her presence for she was solely focused on her job. Most likely since she was already hungry and every meal was sacred to her. Without hesitation she assumed a combat position as if about to slam the girls and the MoS into oblivion before she hit the floor and tables like a hurricane, brushing and mopping the place until one could see it's own reflection on the various surfaces. Just don't let her bump into you as even Janus would be tossed away like a ragdoll given Misty's hunger was drive by her hidden gear. As expected from the situation, Misty was immersed on her job for the primal need to satisfy her hunger later that the clumsy brunette had eyes only for the art room, in short, she didn't acknowledged MoS, GoD or Setsuko's existence at all.
