[❖] Listening to the Tsichikage as he spoke back to Genji he just smirked. Now not really the one to get arrogant this side of Genji seemed rather interesting more like a competitive side. 'We'll see about that old man.' Genji though before turning away after snatching his headband. "I need a second one..." Genji then moved looking at them before walking towards the middle of the room where the great fire was roasting the abnormally large pig. The cooking meat did smell delicious and if the tsuchikage had cooked it then it was probably down right near perfect. Not taking note of many others within the room Genji ignored them mostly; reaching out for the kunai stuffed deeply into the cripsy skin of the pig he carved out a long line of meat almost like a rib before stabbing the kunai back down into the beast.
It was then that the words from Xanos were heard which caused Genji's brow to raise. Turning around while biting down into the skin and meat of the pork he stared looking at Xanos and smirked somewhat. "Forgive me Xanos, I'm not a fool I know now I couldn't beat Lord Tsuchikage." He nodded and apologized rather formal for the way he had looked earlier. "We can't all be you now can we?" He nodded and then proceeded to walk away from him Genji already had his mind set on what he wanted to do for the day and surprisingly it was training. An with that he took another bite of the long piece of meat that he had carved out and then proceeded to leave the kage's hall.
Igarashi watched the kage speak of his cooking and welcoming the genin. After a few mere moments the Tsuchikage was right next to her with his arm wrapped around her which of course startled her causing her hood to fall showing off her ears. Grumbling to herself she spoke a bit under her breath for the kage to hear. "Dammit Uncle, I am not a child anymore stop treating me like one." She stamped her foot down hoping to make contact with her uncles foot but knowing him he would of moved it swiftly enough to avoid any damage. Her fox ears twitched in annoyance of being cuddled like a scared little child.
She looked slightly over her shoulder at the one genin that had left with the large hunk of meat Shaking her head at some of the genin already leaving the office she kinda figured that it was gonna be a pain. She hoped she didn't have too hard of a team. She really didn't want to have to report that her genin were just plain stupid and incompetent to her standards that they ended up skewering themselves with either training weapons or blowing themselves up cause they are just that plain dumb. Crossing her arms across her chest he popped off her cloak to let it fall to the floor. her tails were still hidden quite well so at least not a soul would really know too much about her. Looking back at the rest of the group in the room she noticed a young boy that seemed to be talking to the one girl she noticed earlier.
They must of known each other. Overhearing their conversation she couldn't help but giggle to herself. a healthy rivalry between classmates was always good. She kinda hoped that those two would be placed in the same team together just for the sheer fun of watching the two always trying to best the other in one way or another. After hearing their names she thought to herself on which she was going to beg her uncle to let her teach. She wanted to speak to him alone soon but it would have to wait till everyone got a fill of the pig.
After mere seconds she took a giant deep breath and got a whiff of the pig herself as her stomach grumbled. Sighing she went over and daintily cut of some pieces and placed it on a plate that apparently nobody else seemed to be using. Grabbing a fork also she went over and sat next to her uncles desk on the floor eating peacefully and quietly. She really didn't want to attract attention to herself more then her uncle apparently decided to do.

Rhea rolled her eyes at Xanos' words, then smirked at him, "If you want to turn it into a race, sure, but I more meant it was about time for both of us, you dork." The redhead then finished off the hunk of roast pork that she'd cut off from the pig and licked her fingers clean. She had some training she needed to get done, and she wanted to get it done ASAP. She winked at Xanos and stuck her tongue out at him, "I need to get some training done, I have entirely too much of my bloodline to learn. Plus several of my actual elemental jutsu. You're more than welcome to come find me if you want."

Nai jolted to attention as he had done with all his instructors,"Uhhhhh... Yes sir.....uhhhhhh," His mind trying to re-engage reality again before he called the kage something he shouldn't, " I will try to do better Tsukune-kage sir." After I moment he realized what he had said, " I..I.. mean Tsuchikage sir," he stuttered. To give Nai the benifit of the doubt he was hungry from the smell of the boar cooking. With the room back into focus he finally realized the headbands had already been passed out. With a lethargic step he finally reached the table and lifted the yellow headband from the table. With his fingers running smoothly across the the cloth he felt a sense of pride as he stared at the emblem.
After a few moments of staring at the headband he took a deep breath and started to tie it to his shoulder with a sigh of relief. This was the beginning of his road to become the best ninja he possibly could be; though his mind may have been in the clouds earlier he felt a strong sensation to begin the trails ahead with a powerful forward motion. They were all about to embark on a long set of trails and he wondered whom his team would be, but after a few moments he quickly lost interest in the thought. With a quick turn he started to walk towards the food, but soon was halted by a great enemy of his the "forgotten" step. Nai soon found himself flat on his face bleeding everywhere, and with his face still in the ground he moaned painfully. Finally after a bit of self pity he stood up and continued to his previous destination as if nothing happened. His sleeve covered in blood because he continued to wipe his nose as he cut off a piece of boar.

Information: Tsukune (つくね) are meatballs made of minced chicken, egg, vegetables and spices. They are typically formed into multiple small balls or made into one long patty.
As he was picking up his headband off of the desk he was half listening to Genji's responce. It actually him laugh a bit. It was true he did have a bit extra equipment but he would be sure to fair just as well with academy issued equipment. Patting his swords on his hip as the boy was leaving the office. "Trying to would be the first step." Looking over at another genin in the office that had fallen down out of the sheer nervousness he had shown. "Aaand.. Failing would be the second." His gaze shifting some to the fox girl. Unfamiliar with her origin or even what bloodline she possessed he had perked a bit of interest. Wondering to himself what rank she was. It was always hard to figure out exactly what that was upon meeting someone. Regardless his thoughts were cut off by Rhea speaking to him once again. Apparently he had misunderstood the meaning of what she had meant by graduated already. Regardless he smiled some before lifting his head as he spoke to her once more. "Maybe i'll join you shortly, I'm in need of some earth training myself. We could see who's defense is greater."
Walking over and grabbing a bit of pork he stored it into one of his small bags for later. The invitation extended to have some food would have been a bit rude to decline.

Rhea shook her head as the boy fell flat on his face. She wasn't sure if that was natural, or if the boy was trying to attract attention, to be honest Rhea hadn't paid too much attention to anyone in her class outside of Xanos. She turned and cut off another piece of meat before she turned on her heel and began to leave the office. She had too much training to get to, and so little time it felt like. "If I'm needed, Lord Tsuchikage, I'll be in the academy for the foreseeable future, training."

Soon after he had recieved his bloody bounty of food he began to look around. He watched the other gennin leave without even a goodbye, or they had and he hadn't heard them. His eyes shifted from one side of the room to the other until his focus fell to the door. It might be time for me to trainhe thought to himself as he began to walk towards the doorway. This was going to be a long challenging road and he needed to get warmed up for the trials. Though he had no idea where in the world to start he just knew it was time to leave, and once out the door he took off towards the shops to re-equip himself for the coming battles.

Shikatsu Nara "Too much work to not do it..." | Genin | Iwagakure | Shikatsu of the Stone | 380/380 | Nara Clan | Tactician | Inventor | Raiton | Doton | There was a smaller male now standing outside, looking up at the large spire. He should've been here three years ago but he was just too lazy to pass his classes. Many exited and rushed past him so he took that as his cue to enter the building. Pushing past the large doors, Shikatsu Nara entered the large hall. Immediately the smell of Roast Pig filled his nose. Usually, Shikatsu ate with his family, adopted of course, at a large table. In the corner, by the desk of the Tsuchikage, a strange girl sat, eating some of the meat. The Tsuchikage himself was standing next to the boar, biting into a large chunk of leg and nodding. Not really sure what to do or say, the Nara boy bowed before Fuukyu and then straightened up, waiting to be addressed.

Watching as the genin all got their fill of the pork and left, Fuukyu finished polishing off the boar’s leg he’d been munching on, chuckling and moving his foot as Igarashi tried to stomp on it. He was about to walk over and talk to her some more when someone else walk in, turning, he saw the young Nara boy. Smiling, he nodded to the kid, “Ah, Shikatsu, here for your headband, I expect, just a moment.” The large Tsuchikage walked around behind his desk a moment, fishing a headband out of the drawer, then walked back over to Shikatsu and handed the headband to the young boy, ruffling his hair slightly, “There ya go, kiddo. Feel free to grab yourself some roast boar, then you should probably start your training. I’ll let you know when I have a sensei for you.”
The old Kage would then walk back over to his chair, dragging it over to the edge of his desk near where Igarashi was sitting, quietly eating her boar. “What’s up, Rashi?” he asked softly as he sat down.
"Say a pray, but let the good times roll. In case if god doesn't show. And I want these words to make things right But it's the wrongs that make the words come to life.
Aya walked in, with her coat on her shoulders, Sora on her shoulder, and with Emiko behind her. Aya smiled at Fuukyu, and walked up to him. "I have a Genin for you." She pointed over at Emiko, and suddenly Maki came running towards Aya, and under Emiko's feet. She didn't really care if she tripped Emiko, she just wanted to catch up to Aya. Aya looked down at her. "You should stop day dreaming while walking. You will get left behind." Maki just laughed."Yes, Aya..."She didn't seem to take it to seriously.
Who does he think he is? If that's the worst you got, Better put you finger back to the keys! One night and one more time! Thanks for the memories! It tastes like you, but sweeter!"

Emiko walked with Ayaka. She looked around until Ayaka came to a stop at the Tsuchikage. As Ayaka pointed at her and spoke. "Geez, you could be nicer.. Yes, I'm Emiko Yamanaka.. I'm here for my headband.. Thank you, please." She said and bowed. Standing up straight again, she smiled softly at him.

A yawn would escape the bored nara as he walked in with a slight grin. Two of his former squad mates were here already and it would seem that the present he had left here had already be eaten so it was time for him to make an appearance. The small nara had set the pig as a present for his old friends but as everyone else partook of it he couldn't help but chuckle as this now was the perfect. The small childlike man would walk out and say from the top of lungs "GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!!!!"
"You can't just go by somebody else's rules. If you let yourself be controlled like that, you'll just become a puppet that can't make decisions on it's own. You have to live by your rules."
Igarashi looked to her uncle for a few moments taking a few more small bites of the roast she had on her plate. Watching as the few that were in the office left. Before she could speak she heard a few more people enter. two lil genin and two jounin. Lowering her ears as the one of them came in yelling at the top of his lungs. Whining slightly from the sheer pitch of this guys voice made her ears hurt.
Looking to her uncle again she spoke softly. "Well since we got the most of it out of the way I was kinda hoping maybe, possibly, I could call dibs on a team." As she then placed the plate down giving her uncle the pleading sad puppy face she used when she was younger. She hoped that it still worked as well as it did when she was a young one.
After a few moments she turned and looked at the two genin that had entered. one from the way he smelled and acted was like the bellowing jounin must be from the same family or something. After a few more moments she looked to the younger one behind the other jounin in the room noticing how close she was to her. Probably a little sister perhaps or just a really shy girl that took a liking to her on first sight.
She took note that these two were probably already spoken for. Looking back to her uncle she spoke again. "I wouldn't mind taking.." As she then shifted through the files of all the genin he had on the desk like it was her right to know everything about each person. "This one and this one for starters." As she held up the two genin that were in here before right in the kage's face. She wasn't much for formalities she was a bit more of a spoiled brat that always got what she wanted.
She then looked over her shoulder and spoke indirectly to the two Jounin in the room. "Looks like they already got their work cut out for them."As she then turned back to the Kage still holding the files in his face trying to bug him enough to get what she wanted.
Sighing as Igarashi started trying to claim her team, Fuukyu gently pushed the files out of his face, “Rashi, I have plans for how I want to handle the genin for now, I want them to be trained and field ready before I assign them to teams and squad captains so we get a better feel for their strengths and weaknesses and can match teams to complement each other.” Turning to Aya and Ivan, Fuukyu smiled, “Hey guys! And Ivan, calm down a bit with the yelling, would you, buddy? Igarashi has really sensitive hearing, and that was a bit loud even for me… Anyway,” the massive man would look down at the smaller girl by Ayaka, “Emiko, right? Aya’s little cousin, I think?” The kage would reach into the drawer and pull out a headband, walking around and handing it to Emiko, “Here you go, little one, welcome to Iwagakure’s shinobi ranks.” Fuukyu smiled a bit as he then turned to see both Ayaka and Ivan, “Ivan, I want you to take Shikatsu there and get him trained up as much as you can in the Nara clan jutsu. Ayaka, would you do the same with Emiko and your Yamanaka clan jutsu, please. Also, anything else they want to learn, help them with that too, if it’s something you’re good with. I want the genin to train each type of techniques with the best the village has in those arts, ideally, so I’ll be heading to the Dojo momentarily to offer training in taijutsu and what bukijutsu and ninjutsu I know. But first, we can hang out a bit and catch up, I hate that I haven’t been able to hang out with my old teammates much lately, being busy with Kage duties.” Fuukyu then walked around behind his desk and sat down in his chair for a minute.
