Heras Box Someone for Ming to spot. ;D Callum 7
The young swordsman hadn't expected to see Sauti again until he was much older. He had often wondered what it would be like to walk the stones of his homelands once more, but Callum had never wanted it to be like this.
Keeping his hand upon the hilt of his sword, the tall youth walked around with a more confident gate. His nervousness from Jauhar remained, but now he felt much more purpose. This was his home; he had to defend it. Wasn't this the reason he had trained so hard? It was the reason why he had put on muscle, so that he could lift this heavy sword in combat.
They had tried peace and no matter how much he had prayed war was coming. Chi guide me today.

serr post sevenHe'd had every intention of helping once they'd reached their destination, but somehow Serr had ended up watching the gathering earthlings instead, a tent post held loosely at his side. There were Oban and Matori here who had presumably been in the crowd with them back in the south, along with Shifters, Leafs, and even supposedly peaceful Alkidike. Serr tensed when he noticed his first, keeping the women in his peripheral after that no matter where his focus moved. One man in particular caught his attention for longer than most, a Wind with a glint in his eye and a lightness to his steps that marked him as someone to know and be wary of in equal measure. As long as he kept away from Eziya, they might have something to talk about. Serr made sure the man noticed him before finally moving to assist the healer with her tent. "I think I will. It'd be nice to know what they're planning. Stop them before they arrive." He held up the post slightly, adding, "And I'll be very very careful," with a smirk, since he knew she thought about that a lot. More than she should, in his opinion. He longed for all of this to be over so that they might get back to exploration, laughter, fun. Anything but war.

Kadriye post 7"Qi and I are fine for now Maya, the offer is appreciated though." Kadriye murmured as she looked off into the distance, smoke from campfires off in the distance was visible in the yellowed air even if the group would need to crest another purple rocked hill to see any actual people or encampment. "You've done an admirable job getting us here this quickly and without trouble." A novice mystic's praise might not mean much to one as accomplished as Maya but Kadriye meant it. Many sisters both pure and hybrid had shown incredible strength , wisdom and fortitude in their swift response to this situation. More than anything it was this that gave Kadriye hope for the tribe's future and made her even angrier at the Matron's words. The old mystic would taste defeat and be made to swallow her pride at the hands of the newest generation. Hopefully it would not be necessary that her life be lost though, bitter and disillusioned ads she might be the matron was still a former tribe leader and woman of great wisdom and power. If she could be humbled there were still good things she could pass on. As for Aselia, Kadriye hoped to talk sense into the younger sister herself. They shared rank and role now but to Kadriye the other girl would always be the sweet tag along whom had looked up to her for many seasons. She had brought the other so many gifts back from her travels, this time she was determined to bring Aselia back home, alive and well. Qi rested atop Kadriye's head, tired from having flown most of the way here and reserving his energy for fight to come. The small sprite was no slouch when it come to defending his friend and he had protected her since their first meeting.

Niadra - Post Seven Traveling was something that she was use to, so it was something that she helped some of the others with on the journey. There were people that had never left their home before, and she made sure they didn't do anything to endanger themselves. But now they were there, and although she wasn't much setting up she had been gathering things and preparing to help in the same way she had last time.
At hearing Wyome's voice she smiled and turned towards the girl. She was happy to share this experience with her. She saw the way some people looked at Wyome, and was sure to glare at them when they did. No one would say anything to Wyome while she was around. "Ah yummie! Thank you." she said taking a fruit. "What do you think so far? Lots of people, huh?" Lasarra - Post Seven She felt as she was going back in time. Just as she was settling down once more, with their home being finished, Lasarra was on the move again. Sure she had Izsha, Achran, Pounce and of course her husband Rayolun and his companions. However it wasn't like this was going to be enjoyable, it wasn't a vacation. It was war.
"Do you think they will separate us when it comes time to fight?" she asked her husband nervously.
Briella - Post SixBriella nodded. Thank you though." she offered Maya a smile. She knew that Maya had to be worried for her daughter, it hadn't been too long ago that she herself felt the same fear for Ilyra. She looked around for any sign of Kadriye. She had planned on sticking to Kadriye's side, and she was pretty sure that near Maya was a good place to be. The older Alkidike was very experienced and someone that Briella trusted. She also wondered where her younger sister was and if she would be joining their little group when they go to where the Earthlings were.
At spotting her girlfriend she headed over to Kadriye's side, Amadi sitting on her shoulder. "Doesn't look like they are made for this amount of travel." she said with a smile. Ilyra - Post Six Where was her girlfriend? She was worried that Tahigwa had gone off and done something stupid while she wasn't watching her. She was fired up about the issue as well, and didn't like the extremists view, but the way Tahigwa was taking it worried her. At hearing Maya's question of hunger she nodded. She hadn't even realized that she hadn't ate in a while. "I'm a little hungry." she admitted.
Silver_tigress18 Both Ilyra and Briella are there with her
Lavender Hues in case she is also there Zuri - Post SevenShe had gotten all of her things ready and headed out with her siblings. With so many people there she wondered if her ex-husband was there, and if he was she wondered if they would run into each other. She hoped not. Their last encounter hadn't been pleasant.
"Are you guys ready for this?" she asked her siblings. She didn't want them to fight, but she knew there was no way she could stop them either. Her best bet was to stay close to them and make sure they stayed safe.
Eleina - Post SevenEleina had been walking around the camp, unable to find anyone that she knew. With a frown she spotted Ichil and headed over to see her friend. "Ichil!" she called excitedly. She hadn't seen the girl since she became a sprite walker and was eager to let her know what had happened.
She was about to start telling her about what happened when she spotted Sebastien. She nodded towards him. "Hello, don't believe we've met. I'm Eleina."

Ichil- post 7
Hearing her name, Ichil turned from the beast charmer to try and find the source. It took a moment for her to spot Eleina. She'd rather enjoyed the girl's company at the party and since and she didn't see any harm in greeting her. Of course, if she were dressed differently it might have been come cause for pause.
"Eleina, hello! How are you?" she asked, offering the girl a hug. This wasn't the best circumstance to meet under, but they might as well stay positive.
Sebastien- post 7
He'd heard the call and turned but might not have known who was calling for the young woman he stood with if it weren't for her approached. Ah, she was a pretty one, wasn't she? Something seemed odd about her but he couldn't quite place it. It wasn't until he met her eyes that he realized it. Look at that! A hybrid. It was interesting enough to be surrounded by all different races (although some still admittedly held a grudge at his heritage) but an Oban-Matorian hybrid? He smiled and offered something between a polite nod and a formal bow.
"I'm Sebastien. It's a pleasure."

Eleina - Post EightShe wrapped her arms around Ichil, making sure not to hit her with her staff as she did so. "Been better, but I'm happy to finally see a familiar face. The people I traveled with were so quiet and kept giving me funny looks." she shook her head. In times like this she would think that people would get over the whole hyrbid thing, but it seemed not everyone was willing to look past her heritage.
"The pleasure is mine," she said with a smile. "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything!" she said when she realized that the two of them had been talking when she came up. She didn't want to offend one of her only friends.

Yithiron post 7 "To tell the truth I'm a bit conflicted about that, do you think my services would be of better use here or out there? We might need all the fighters possible out there, and if I'm injured I know you will take care of me hey?" He smiled painfully down at her. "I think I must go, in order to feel that I've protected you and your home as best as I possibly can." He fiddled with his blade, checking the edge, it wasn't dull by any standard good for maneuvering between ribs and quick slashed and jabs, preferably wielded by someone much smaller then he was, but he thought that he was finally adjusting properly to the size of his body. "I guess I will be going when the call comes, I'll be careful, I promise."

Syqvara Post 9 Hearing that Nyiim had indeed been to Sauti before she grinned at him. He'd been to more places than her, well, had been to more places than her. Sy now had set foot in Jauhar, Tale, and Sauti. The girl gave a small giggle before she nodded her head. "I-I'm afraid to g-go to Oba, my father was killed in th-the last war." She noticed that her stutter was showing less and less. This pleased her. Maybe then she wouldn't feel so out of place all the time. "Th-the other places I'm not s-so sure about." After all, wouldn't Zena be too cold? And Matori was mainly accessible through Oba. --------------------------------------------------------- Ming'we Post 5 While she was up on the large rock she caught sight of a familiar head of hair. Callum! The hybrid broke out into a grin. Of course he'd come home. How could he not? She thought. Shifting her position a bit she'd make herself more easily seen and waved her arm at him. "Callum!" Ming just hoped that her friend heard her. If not then she'd have to hide again. It wouldn't do to be seen by an approaching enemy if she wanted to keep the advantage. --------------------------------------------------------------- Ariya Post 7When she was asked about her hunger she shook her head. Ariya couldn't think about eating at the moment. Her stomach was unsettled due to the current situation that all of Tendaji found itself in. "No, I can't eat right now. Thank you though, Maya." Of course she didn't mean to imply that others couldn't eat. Since she was sitting calmly behind the alkidike woman she leaned in a bit closer to her, mostly just because she wanted to. "I would love to travel with you, Maya." Among other things, but Ariya didn't think now was the best time to voice those thoughts. ------------------------------------------------------ V'demhe Post 8Maha was in paradise as he got a body rub down. That was until Virain wiggled away from him and spoke. It took a moment for the radaku to figure out what the boy wanted, his head turning this way and that. Then Maha pieced it together. Dem meant his mother! He nudged Virain's hand then turned and headed off into the direction V'demhe was in. Within moments he would lead the Matori right to her. Just as Maha returned to her Dem smiled at him. "Hey Maha, did you find him?" Her hands instantly went to scratch around his horns and down his neck. Noticing the attention Maha was getting, Tanou pawed at V'demhe's leg. With a laugh the alkidike switched to the pink radaku and gave her a rub as well. Then she looked up, trying to see if she could see Virain. Her hope was that Maha had found him.

Reillan post 6 Reill searched rapidly throught the crowd, meeting up again with Keelthy, "I can't find her, she has to be here, she wouldn't stay with those crazy harpies would she? We should at least be able to see Xarthin's great black hided bulk shouldn't we?" For the first time he wished he had a sprite to send in search of their ward...it seemed like forever ago when they had sent her off to Chibale on the janarim. And Reillan had missed them both abominably. "Keelthy what do we do? What if we can't find her? What if she's captured?" Reillan was about ready to start handing out fliers which coming from a male oban would look really really bad at the moment...for a number of reasons. He wanted to sit down in the dust and sulk. Keelthy post 6 Keelthy patted his brother's back taking note of his distress, he wanted Yitzah back too, he had a sneaky suspicion that they had both developed feelings for her and he didn't know what to make of it. What about Var? He hadn't seen her for so long, not even a letter lately. what should they do? They were young virile males and it would be very awkward to fight over an alk or even another Oban but especially an alk right now. Reillan was in a state and Keelthy was nervous and wanted to find her too. Not to mention his own pet.

Irrohna Post 6
Irrohna strode into town looking around curiously at the hustle and bustle, the relief in the air was palpable on her skin, no more harsh Oban sun. She sighed happily and felt like she nearly floated on the ground. Home! Well kind of home, something to that effect anyway. She giggled and looked at all the war items sprawled around. Good thing she had her dagger, a practical weapon for her since she wouldn't be heading to the front but assisting the healers here.
She made it to their tents and called. "Hello? Can I help at all?" It looked like lots of preparation at the moment but she wouldn't expect patients until the mess started up.
Anyone whos a healer please take her under your wing.

Ime- post 8
Oh, that hadn't been what she wanted to hear. It was the truth, of course. Their chances were better the more bodies out on the battlefield... bodies. Oh, no, not bodies. People. Living, breathing Earthlings and Alkidike armed with protective gear and sharp weapons. She closed her eyes hard and pressed her face into Thorn's chest, pulling him even closer. Of course he would go. She could feel tears welling in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. She had to be strong. They both did.
"Only if you promise," she said, voice wavering slightly. Oh, how many men and woman had known the pain of seeing their loved ones off to potential war? She didn't like it, not at all. She felt sicker than she ever had.
Nyiim- post 8
"Was he? I'm very sorry," Nyiim said with a little bow. He knew what it was like to lose a father to violence, and Syqvara was still young. The main strike of pain had been recent. "From what I hear Oba is a much less hostile place now, at least to a point." He gestured around them widely. "There are so many Obans here, and I doubt they weren't given a choice. The world is growing larger in the grandest way." His smile turned more broad and he shrugged. "Exploration is always fun, anyway. I hadn't even met anyone outside of the Leaf clan since just before the last war. Now I can't get enough."

Araie Post 8Araie smiled as she reached up and pet the bird that was resting on her shoulders before she looked back at Dezani. She was so glad to have met up with him again. They had picked up right where they had left, and it was almost like nothing had changed between them. It was good to be traveling with him. Hopefully, she would be able to see Eziya soon as well. She missed the Shifter quite a bit. "Uhm...I'm not really sure, to be honest. While I don't want to go out and initiate any fights and would be more comfortable defending, I don't want to sit around here and wait for the alkidike to come to us. I mean, if they reach the healers and attack them, it'll practically be too late. What do you think we should do?" Araie asked with a small tilt of her head.

Kayin post 6
Deep inside, Kayin wasn't sure if she was ready or not. This was the first time in a long time that she had ventured out to do ANYTHING, let alone defend the boarders from a potential attack. Would this be worth it, or would she just get in the way? Alek had the pleasure of being out in it for a bit. Well, pleasure wasn't the right term, but he had more experience at least.
"I'm ready," she said, even though several parts of her mind were still questioning the whole 'ready' thing. Sitting around being a coward wasn't going to help anything either, or at least that's what she kept telling herself.
"What about you Alek?" she asked

Rayolun post 7 Rayolun leaned against his janarim, ideally scratching beneath the hard ridge bones to the neck.
"Mm.. I doubt it. I would have gone scouting but we got here too late so might as well stay here... Where do you want to fight? I'm not a line fighter tso Id'd rather go with a group further out..." He had no idea how the war was to go. With the Obans they had had an army, lined up and charged it felt like.. here though.. Alkidikes could come in groups, strike and run, charge in mass. Any tactic would work for them. "

Smerdle sorry for multiple quotes, editing! OpticPeachx Talinis approached by Serr so I guess I get to say hi? Talin post 9
Talin smirked; kid come to play at war and get a girl while doing so? Typical.. and not worth it unles the boy had any skills.
"Careful? Oh please.. the only care you need is to find a good spot to ambush them in.. Battles are won through violence.. not avoiding being hit." Normally he would guard his words, keep a smirk on his face and be cheerful like this one.. But the scent int he air made him want blood.. and not want to hide it for once. Sides, not like the idealistic members of my group are here.. or at least they shouldn't be!
"And we won't stop them.. just bleed them so the main group has an easier time."
