LXiXeXrXa XXXX CXaXsXtXaXn ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Only.One.Care: Liera sauntered in, having gotten another cup of really bad tasting black coffee, and sat down behind the desk. She sipped at it as she looked over the returned books. The bell had rung for the childrens, and the teachers as well, to be free of the classroom but she was still here for did a library ever close? Most of the returns were in perfect condition, nearly the same as when they left, but others had a ripped page here and there. Imbeciles. After bobbing her head back and forth to dislodge a strand of hair from her eyelashes she went to work mending the pages. All out of coffee and with nothing to do, Liera stood with the returned books in her hand numbering well over ten and balanced them as she walked down each aisle and placed them back where they belonged. With only three remaining books she stopped when she spotted a lone student wandering down the aisles. "Looking for anything in particular?" She asked the girl finding a slot for one of the books. ✔ Fae ✔ Teacher ✔ Pessimist

Glaurung walks into the library the soft clink of his staff braking the silence of the room,he stopped for a moment to look around the room.He could smell the soft smell of the ocean and he smiled when he seen Kymopoleia, who was reading something on healing as was normal for her.He also seen the librarian helping a student and he smiled again,it was nice to see young people learning and compared to Glaurung every one was young. He turned and walked up to Kymopoleia and spoke softly.Hello Ms.Salacia how is your day going thus far?He asks then he seen a name of one of the books called"Healing with the elements"and he smiles a little more.Trying to find new ways to heal my dear?He adds as he sits down across form her,his staff leaning against the table.

Glaurung gives her a gentle smile. My day has been hectic to say the lest,we had nymphs in the forest and they nearly burnt the whole place to ash but luckily we got the fire out.The head master took a beating though but he should be fine. He says with a slight sigh.He then looked down at her books. No,my plants are doing just fine I came here to find a lesson for my class but I think I found one.He says looking back at her with a smile.I have always told my students that no power is truly good or evil,it is how you apply those powers witch determines that.I think I can show that through teaching them that no matter the element you can still use it for some form of healing. He says with a smile. It seems like a good lesson to me.He says looking over at her.

But never forget what it taught you... ╔══════════════╗ Alexstrasza walked into the library, her cloak flapping behind her. She glances at the others in the library, but keeps her head high. She walks to the back of the library, towards the water section books and looked at them for a minute, looking through the titles. She places her hand on her waist and cocks her head to the side as she looked for a good book that would hopefully help her. Her hood begins to slightly fall and she adjusts it and grabs a book on water control. She flips through the pages, trying to find anything on turning water to snow like crystals. She sighs, her breath being visible as if it was cold in the room, finding nothing and places the book back. She glares at the books and walks behind them, seeing if there is another section. She looks down at her gloved hand and watches the crystals that cling to her finger tips, breathing another sigh. ╚══════════════╝ Sometimes the person you want most... Rin ♦ Vyraal Where: Library | Feeling: Sheepish The first thing Rin had noticed when he first entered the library was that he was incredibly wrong in thinking there couldn't be more books than what there was back home. Not even a single step inside and he was already looking at dozens, if not hundreds, more just within the main area. If the Elf was certain about one thing, it was that it'd take far longer than his willpower could allow to read every single one of them. Smiling lightly to himself, he let his feet take him through the massive room, eager to pick up a few to kill a bit of time. Within minutes, he had a couple under his arm...but more importantly, he discovered the ladders with wheels to grab a few of the ones higher up. Though he used them initially as they were meant to be used, Rin couldn't help but let himself glide across a shelf every now and then when he was at the top of it. Unfortunately for the brown-haired male, his little spurts of entertainment wouldn't all go as planned. As the ladder rolled through the water section, his focus shifted momentarily...down towards what he assumed was another student. With his concentration elsewhere, Rin didn't slow down as the ladder hit the end of the shelf, causing the ladder and himself to jolt rather hard. "Woah!" Was all that left his mouth as he tried to readjust, but the sudden movements caused the ladder to tip back, dislodging itself from the shelf. With breath held, the Elf reached towards a book and grabbed it, but only succeeded in pulling it out of it's spot with him. Holding back a curse, he could only see one option left before he'd find himself crashing to the ground. With the one book in hand and two tucked under his other arm, Rin leaned forward, trying to put all of his weight towards the shelf. It wasn't enough to bring him back to it, but there was enough to keep the ladder standing upright, teetering ever so slightly back and forth as he continually adjusted his position to keep the ladder from falling. Looking down at the other student, a young woman wearing a hood of some sort. Rin smiled in mild embarrassment. "Umm, sorry to be a bother, but could you give me a little nudge in the right direction, please?" He asked, nodding his head towards the shelf."Don't be afraid to jump into the unknown"

But never forget what it taught you... ╔══════════════╗ Alexstrasza was about to grab a book when she noticed another student playing around on the ladders. She shook her head and grabbed the book, flipping through the pages once more, looking for keywords. She heard the wheels squeak and before she knew it the ladder was gliding right at her. She jumped back just in time, her head snapping to the student. She watched him fall to the ground, a stern look on her face. She clutched the book to her chest, watching him get upright again, her stern look still staining her face. She cocked her head to the side when he had asked for her help. Before she knew it, she busted into giggles, placing a hand over her mouth. She walks forward to the student, her stern look now replaced with a smile, her cloak flowing behind her. "Quite the landing," She joked and placed her book back. She turned and took off her hood, letting it fall behind her, her platinum blonde hair falling out of it, softly. She grabs hold of the ladder and then looks up to him, her ice colored eyes looking back into his. "Where to?" She asked, a smile still dancing among her lips. The first student she had ever talked to in all her years here and this is how they were to meet. She giggles at the thought. ╚══════════════╝ Sometimes the person you want most... Rin ♦ Vyraal Where: Library | Feeling: Calm Rin had noticed the look the other student gave him, he had been that expression countless times before coming here. The giggle she let out afterwards, however, came unexpected to the male...normally the stern look would be followed by a scolding, not laughter. Regardless, it was a welcomed change. As she removed her hood, the Elf blinked, the only other people he had seen with that hair color were other Elves and she definitely didn't sem like one. Casting away the thought as she asked where he was looking to go, he looked back at the books in front of him then down to the one he had taken out during the little incident. "Y'know what? This'll do actually. Thanks though." He said cheerfully, quickly making his way down the ladder, careful not to cause the ladder to fall again. Once he was back on the ground, Rin looked at the cover of the book, a dusty looking thing with quite a lot of pages. "What do we have here...'An In Depth Guide to Merpeople Heirarchy and Politics'..." He said, reading the title under his breath. Rin couldn't help but raise an eyebrow slightly, this definitely sounded like a sleeping pill in book form. Of course, of all the books he could pull out, it had to be something interesting only to those looking to study the subject. Still, it wasn't like he had any real idea what books to get, the others were all at random as well after all. Shrugging, the male tucked it under his arm with his other books and turned to the other student, a friendly smile returning to his face. "I'm Rin, by the way, nice to meet you." He said happily."Don't be afraid to jump into the unknown"

Her eyes widened when she caught glimpse of the title and she jumped in front of him, her icy blue eyes wide and excited."Water? Do you study water?" She asked, her voice rushing with excitement. Maybe he would be able to help her understand her power. She clasped her hands together, waiting for his answer but then realized how she was probably invading his bubble. She quickly leaned back and hugged the book she held, 'A Guide to Controlling and Understanding Water Basics', to her chest. "S-sorry.." She muttered. She looked at him when he had said his name, giving him a small smile. She grabbed her skirt with one hand and bowed, having perfect posture. "I am Alexstrasza Ortega." She said, her head held high, a proud smile on her face as she held the name with great pride. ╚══════════════╝ Sometimes the person you want most... Rin ♦ Vyraal Where: Library | Feeling: Calm Rin blinked once again, this time as the woman practically leapt in front of him. From what he could gather from her words, people who studied water must not be very common aside from herself. His gaze meeting with hers, he couldn't help but admit in his thoughts that her eyes were rather pretty, the icy blue very different from his brownish yellows. When she eventually shifted back and apologised, Rin simply rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, shrugging as if to say 'don't worry about it'. When she bowed, the Elf tilted his head very slightly in curiosity, more so as she introduced herself. Alexstrasza...now that was a name he hadn't heard before. With that said, he had met a couple of people with names strange to him on his first day, maybe it was just him that was the odd one here. Still, with a name as proper-sounding as that, the bow from earlier made a bit more sense. Smiling back lightly, Rin thought back to her question. "Oh, err, I'm afraid not..." He admitted, shifting the arm holding the books as a way of gesturing to them. "With so many books here I didn't know where to start, so I just picked a few that caught my eye and...well, here I am." He explained, his smile turning a little more sheepish. She seemed so excited at the thought of another person studying water, it was just a tad disappointing to the male that he couldn't do much, or anything, to give a little help. Gaze flicking to the book in her arms, he smiled once more. "I might just be jumping to conclusions, but you're a water-user, right?" He then asked. "Wish being an Elf had a bit more to the gene pool." He added, reaching up to his head with his free hand and lightly flicking the pointed ear on that same side. True, he knew that some Elves could harness magic of some variety, but if his home was anything to go by, it was practically a miracle whenever one was born. Rin was no miracle in that sense, but he did manage to compensate with his talent of sending an arrow exactly where he needed it to be...though that probably wouldn't help all that much with someone throwing fire or something before he could even ready his bow."Don't be afraid to jump into the unknown"

x o Alexstrasza Ortega o x | Third Year | Frost Witch Forget what hurt you... But never forget what it taught you... ╔══════════════╗ Alexstrasza smiled when he had said he wasn't afraid, for it was a first. She scolded herself for getting so excited. Her father had taught her manners, but she had gotten caught up in the excitement. Her excitement evaporated when he had said that he was not a water user and she sighed, her breath coming out visible as if it were freezing in the library. "In a sense," She replied. Alexstrasza looked around, making sure no one was watching, then opened her hand, palm facing up.
She blew a quick, visible breath into her hand and suddenly a crystal bow appeared. She smirked and took hold of it, aiming it right at Rin, but without any arrows, of course. "Don't touch. It's so cold you'll stick to it." She laughed, keeping it outstretched for him to see. "I can control frost, snow...really anything that is cold and wet." She watched his reaction for a moment before squeezing the bow. It started to melt and form into a pool into her hand, running down her arm and down her side into a vial that hung at her waist, that was hidden under her cloak. She turned back to the Elf, a proud smile displayed on her lips. ╚══════════════╝ Sometimes the person you want most... Rin ♦ Vyraal Where: Library | Feeling: Curious Rin could only tilt his head lightly when Alexstrasza answered his question. When she looked around, as if checking to see if they were the only two around, he had opened his mouth to speak, but was soon cut off as she showed him what she meant. Eyes widening just a little in awe, Rin remained silent as the familiar form of a bow shifted into her hand. Before his body had urged him to do so, the female seemed to have predicted what would happen as she warned him not to touch. Moving his gaze from the weapon to her, he smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. Looking it over, but of course keeping his hands off, he listened to her explain what she could do. "Once again, I feel like I've gotten the short straw on powers." He said light-heartedly as he looked up at her. "My own bow's sitting in my dorm room right now. Doesn't look nearly as cool and I can't just summon it at will, but it gets the job done." Pausing for a moment whilst Alexstrasza ket her bow melt away, a thought occurred to him that had the Elf smirking playfully. "Maybe we should see who's got the better aim..." He suggested before shifting the books still under his arm to the other. Glancing at them, he sighed softly before looking back to his fellow student and smiling lightly. "Maybe on another day though, it'd take half the day just to will myself through some deep sea politics." He added jokingly. Shifting his gaze to the bookshelves, he let his eyes slowly drift along them. "Speaking of which, have you found what you're looking for? I might not know much about water and ice magic, but I can still help look for some more books if you need a hand." He offered, figuring he owed her at least that for the near-accident that began their encounter."Don't be afraid to jump into the unknown"
