She wanted to ask Liustraes about turning into a demon, but was well aware that it was a topic he most likely wouldn't want to talk about. It would also be nice to know why he trusted her so much. If the roles were reversed, April would've probably ran away at the sight of someone covered in blood like she was.
"Questions? Uh…well…how did you know I wasn't going to…do something bad? You still don't know what I did…" The girl frowned again, still feeling badly about killing a defenseless creature. "You're being so nice to me, and you don't have a reason to…" Even though her long term goal was to make friends, it was at times like these where she didn't feel like she deserved any.

Mood: RelaxedLiustraes was interested in what she might have as questions, as he did like to answer some types. He would have to trust someone more if they wanted to learn more about the island of Solaria. There are some moments he does not mind sharing, like how he escaped. He gave a smile at the question before saying, "Having to survive on an island, you rely on your ability to read people quite a lot. If they say or do something that could make you consider them dangerous, you have to take them out as quickly as possible. You wanted to protect me as if I was innocent, which is understandable if you don't know me. And I have my guesses on what you did, I did hear a little of what happened outside. Only because my sense of hearing was greatly increased because of what I was injected with." He thought, Everyone wants to know why I'm always so nice to them. It's really simple in all honesty... I just like helping people, and I try to keep a positively realistic mood. The man looked at her and said, "I like to help people. I try to be as nice as possible, as it helps create an atmosphere for people to enjoy. I haven't had many people dislike me, other than the people forced to on Solaria. I'm also nice because it gets everyone else in a positive/nice mood, well, usually." Liustraes chuckled at that last comment, as he does remember a few of his friends were always mad or sad, and they never wanted to be helped. The man stated, "But, friends are supposed to be people that support and are nice, they shouldn't be the things to tear you down, unless you're doing something really, really stupid." He thought about that last thing he said, 'something really, really stupid'. A flashback from Solaria vividly popped back into his head of his girlfriend nicknamed 'Yukira'. She was a genetically altered AI that could be human also. She had a unique ability to actually go from artificial light to living tissue. She was killed on the battlefield by Cortez, one of his friends, by accident, as Cortez had orders to destroy any potential threats. Unfortunately, Yukira attacked Cortez. Liustraes snapped back to reality and sighed, that was definitely a memory he did not want to see. ()

┗━━━━━━━━━┛ April listened to his explanation, wondering what it must have been like for Liustraes to fend for himself in what sounded to be a hostile environment. Afterward, she found herself looking at the ground again. April wished she could mimic that friendly attitude, or even his honesty. She didn't have it in her to explain what she did, or what she has done in the past. She knew that they had just met, but April thought he had qualities people should aspire to have. More specifically, qualities she should try to obtain. It seemed she overlooked the comment he made about taking people out immediately after safety was felt to be lost.
She looked up to say something to Liustraes, but it seemed he was lost in thought. April waited for him to finish, noticing that something seemed to be weighing on him. She spoke without thinking, "Have you done something like that?" After the words left her mouth, her eyes widened a bit, embarrassed to have asked such a personal question. "I'm sorry, forget I asked."

Mood: RelaxedLiustraes heard the question, and it definitely reflected in his mind for a bit. He thought, Made really stupid mistakes? Yeah... My first one was going to Solaria. The second one was not trying to stop Yukira from attacking Cortez... Should I tell her this though? Well, I guess I can. He looked down for a bit before giving her full eye contact. The man stated, "I've made mistakes. The few big ones I made are... well, were, life changing. The first one is the whole reason I'm a synthetic demon. I ran away from the orphanage that I was in, expecting to find a great life at the island of Solaria. Little did I know, I would be terribly wrong. And, my second one... that's the one I was just thinking about." He held back a few tears before continuing, "I had met a girl that I enjoyed talking to on that island. She was an AI, but she had a unique sequencing of code that allowed her to actually become living tissue. I protected her when I could, and vice versa. I had fallen in love with her, and a few days before the capital completely fell; my old friend Cortez was sent to the island to destroy it and all of its inhabitants. Yukira, the AI, automatically assessed him as a target, and she got herself killed. I wasn't able to stop her or save her." Liustraes was shaking a bit, as it was hard for him to vocalize that. He smiled at her before saying, "It's okay. You can ask as much as you'd like." That very sentence is what reminded him the most of Yukira, she was always willing to answer his questions. The man stood up before saying, "What's funny is her name was actually April. I just gave her the nickname of Yukira. So, in a way, you do kind of remind me of her. That's not a bad thing though, she did many great things." He noticed she had a bit of a worried expression, and he put his hand on her shoulder reassuring her it was okay. Liustraes took his hand off before asking, "Have you done something like that?"()

┗━━━━━━━━━┛ April listened to his story, a bit surprised to hear about the AI called Yukira. She was, however, more concerned with Liustraes, who appeared to be on the verge of tears. She felt awful about making him think about this. "I'm…I'm sorry…" April didn't know how to comfort him. Instead, he put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her. April was touched that he thought to offer a gesture like that to her after what she just put him through. She didn't feel like she deserved that, but felt that it spoke highly of his character. After his question, April felt that she would have to break a rule and tell him a little more about herself.
"I…Yeah, I have.", she paused before explaining. "When I awoke as the creature I am now…I was in a lot of pain. There were others with me, but…I did something horrible to them" This wasn't easy for her to talk about, but April felt that she owed this to Liustraes. "Once the pain subsided, they were…completely unrecognizable. I think they were the ones who brought me back."April didn't go into detail about how she had to learn about surviving as a ghoul, hurting and killing people along the way until she found that she could eat meat bought at the supermarket. It was a confusing and painful process, both emotionally and physically.
Here she was, listening to how Liustraes biggest mistake was being unable to protect someone, while hers was being a living slaughterhouse.

Mood: RelaxedLiustraes smiled when she said sorry, and he gave her a reassured look to tell her it's alright. He listened carefully to what April said, taking in every detail. 'The ones who brought me back' rang into Liustraes's head, which made him think, She's a ghoul... I've never met a ghoul before. If so, that confirms what I think I heard earlier though. I don't mind that though; survival is key. The man looked at her and said, "It's honestly okay. Being human first, then brought back from the dead to become a ghoul is definitely a big transition. Especially because you forget a lot, if not all from what you used to know. What you did was natural, sure, it may not have been right, but they should have known that there are consequences when you bring someone back from the dead... My friend Cortez is living proof of that. He can manipulate anti-matter, and he killed all of his family because he lost his temper, resulting in an explosion. His sister did survive, but only because of a weakness in his power against people who can heal. Plus, I'm guessing at the time; you had no idea that there was such a thing as stores where you could buy meat, or even looking in dumpsters and find decently looking meat." Liustraes knew how to distinguish between specific races and how they are made, usually. It's only in rare cases like Liustraes or anyone else from Solaria, that makes it rather difficult. He looked at her and then said, "I won't judge you based on things you have done; I will only judge you on things I find morally reprehensible. If you can't control it, you can't control it. However, I'm guessing you've learned to control it kind of. Nature is a bit of a pain. You can tell me anything though." He did wonder why she was so against speaking about it though. ()

┗━━━━━━━━━┛ April knew that saying 'brought back' was more than enough hint as to what kind of thing she is, but it still made her uneasy that Liustraes picked up on it. She felt ghouls were the lowest thing to be. Survival in her case was selfish and morally wrong. Though his words were kind and coming from a good place, April couldn't bring herself to agree. Blaming the people who brought her back was out of the question. April just couldn't say it was their fault after what she did to them. They could have easily been turning her into a monster for the sake of some twisted sense of power, just as easily as they could have turned her just to have her living again. Either way, April felt that as long as it is her own actions, the blame was her own.
"It's okay…?", she shook her head in disbelief. "I'm sorry…I don't see it that way…but thank you. You're too much..." While she was grateful to him for listening and trying to comfort her, April started to wonder if non-human persons just had a different level of values. She had never told a soul about her past or what she is, and would have never expected this reaction. "Can we…talk about something a little more lighter?" April still felt bad about almost making him cry, and now she was complaining about being a ghoul. Changing the subject might make things easier on the both of them.

Mood: Relaxed, but sadLiustraes could tell she still felt guilty for the actions she had done, which was natural. He understood that even if it was not your fault those actions happened, that the guilt will still be there regardless. The man listened to her statements and said, "We all have our own differences. Something to someone could be completely different to someone else. I figure we're a very overpopulated planet, and I think experimenting on people, regardless if they are living or not is morally reprehensible. However, if the experimentation is on a dead body for the production of science in a way to make the field better, then I agree with it." He smiled when she said he was too much; it always seemed like a compliment to him. After that, he nodded when she asked to talk about something lighter. He thought for a moment before asking, "What was your favorite subject again?"()

┗━━━━━━━━━┛ Due to her experiences, April would do anything to stop someone from creating another ghoul. So in that sense, she agreed with Liustraes. Those who die should stay dead. April didn't want to comment, knowing her opinion was just going to add to the negative vibe. It was then Liustraes changed the topic. Thankfully, it was one April didn't mind talking about.
"My favorite subject? Well…I'm taking an art class. I really enjoy making things…it doesn't really matter what it is, but painting and knitting are my favorite." She grabbed her bag, taking out a half finished scarf. It was thick and it had a deep red, almost brown, color. It looked very warm. "I'm still working on this one…It's relaxing"

He thought art was a wonderful subject, but he was not very good at it; he was way too analytical for it, which is why he was so good at science and math. The man looked at the scarf that was half made, and he thought it looked wonderful. His favorite color is red velvet. He said, "Those are good classes, especially fun. I'm just not very good with art... too analytical. That's a beautiful looking scarf so far though, I really like the color." He understood how relaxing it could be, which made him comment, "Being able to concentrate on things really helps with relaxing, I get distracted a bit too easy..." Liustraes thought for a moment before asking, "What's your favorite color?"()

┗━━━━━━━━━┛ April smiled a bit after he complimented her work. After she finished a project, she either wore it or unraveled it to make a new one. Since he liked it so much, April decided she will give it to him after she's done with it. If she focuses on it after studying, it could be done in a few days, especially if she worked on it during class. "Thank you…" It was often very difficult for her to concentrate on things, having to stop and eat almost every hour. However, it was easy to forget about the world and its problems when she got lost in a task she enjoyed.
When Liustraes asked her about her favorite color, April had to think about it. The items she made were usually dark, warm colors, rather than pastels and bright hues. She did often wear some pale yellows and reds as she layered her outfits though. April rarely wore colors like purple or blue, but she didn't dislike them. In fact, she never saw a color that disagreed with her in some way.
"Uhm…I don't think I ever considered that"

He was a tad bit curious as to how she would look with it on, but he would not ask her to do that; it would be a bit awkward. After she thanked him, he smiled and said, "You're welcome." Liustraes had one favorite color, but he liked many colors. Sure, there were a few that he did not like, such as puke green, or a dark, golden yellow, like urine. He did like the very eccentric colors like an electric royal blue, or velveteen blue, even some types of purples sparked his fancy. He was curious about that answer, and he said, "You're one of the only people I know that has said that. I find that very interesting." He paused for a moment, feeling his butt go numb. The man asked, "Would you like to go walk in the park? These chairs are a bit hard."()

She had never given a gift to someone before and thought it would make Liustraes happy. After zipping her bag, he replied to her about the colors. "Really?" she smiled slightly, thinking it was odd that apparently most people had a favorite color. He offered to go on a walk, and that didn't sound too bad. April liked being outside and looking at trees and other aspects of nature. Maybe because she was supposed to be a part of it, rather than walking around. "Yeah, that sounds nice…", she smiled and stood up, stretching some.

Mood: Relaxed, but happyLiustraes stretched a bit also, as he felt his body needed it. He stood up, continuing his stretches, but to his legs as well. He nodded after she asked him really, and he was glad that she said yes to going to the park. The man loved nature, but he did not get to go out much, as the new school life was very different for him. He thought the girl was pretty, so this was the closest he would get to asking her on a date, especially since he was not sure how she did with those kinds of things. Liustraes walked to the door, opening it for her; it was a really sticky habit of his. The man wondered if she has gone walking through the forests or any other place that's filled with nature. After she exited the building, he joined her. (I'm not sure if my character was actually sitting, so I'm going to make him standing up. Not an exit post.)

┗━━━━━━━━━┛ April was looking forward to spending more time with Liustraes. It's been a long time since someone managed to hang around her for more than 10 minutes. She didn't think she was the kind of person to be friends with someone like him, but she was happy regardless. She thought he was a nice person, and so far he was good company. As she walked out of the Hall, April remembered that Liustraes was still new to the academy. "Uhm, if you'd like, I could show you around campus tomorrow, if you're not too busy." She'd offer to do it after the park, but figured that would be a whole lot of walking. It would take too long. She would have to eat again soon, and didn't want to have another incident like earlier, especially in front of him.
