The small bird took the hit, Magic looking very much like she was almost at her limit.
"C'mon darling! Just a bit further!" Merle cheered. "Try to give me a Mirror Move!"
Panting a bit, Magicka spread her wings and tried once more to copy her opponents attack. They needed the edge.

Merle gave a low whistle, watching another attack just narrowly miss the paralyzed Pidgey. "C'mon girl. We gotta make this one count! Pursuit!"
Magic brought herself up and took a dive for the ghost.

Freed of the paralysis, Magicka was freely circling the field again, wings spread wide. It was time to end this once and for all!
"Yeah!" Merle was quite excited again, arms up as she cheered her partner on. "Give 'er another Pursuit!"
Magicka, once again, was swooping down for the Mismagius.

Zarya was spiked by the pidgey into and through the tombstone behind her, and this time she did not get up. Lenore recalled the mismagius before whispering to her, "Next time." She turned and left with a wave.

Merle answered with a wave of her own, before she cupped her hands to her mouth.
"Challenge us again anytime!"
Magicka cooed, moving to settle on Merle's shoulder and just rest.
