Farrow moved more quickly then Bhinor could blink. With a slash the lantern was ripped open, and with another it was on the ground. Bhinor stood and blinked, his attention riveted on the ground until it was Farrow turned back to him. The rat was rather surprised. He hadn't expected Farrow to respond so...well...it almost looked protective. Bhinor still held a candy in each hand, so he couldn't do anything with them at the moment. "Ah... sorry? I got distracted." Bhinor spoke with a sheepish grin touching his lips. "Your pretty damn quick with that blade of yours though. I bet if any real trouble popped up you'd have it handled before I had a chance to jump on it." Bhinor tilted his head and took a bite off the cotton candy, finishing it off so he had a hand free. With the dumpling stick he made a playful jab in the air. "You were saying something about meat though. i bet they got something around here you'll like. Wanna look some more?"

Taki laughed and said "I was teasing Roman" then she spotted a shop that sold kimonos and went inside and started looking through the colors and patterns..

"Yes, that was my father.. I am glad you enjoyed the sweets he made, he worked very hard on them. I believe Mama put in some surprises, too.. Oh, have you met her yet? If you stick with me, I am sure that you will." Kiatsu continued to stroll lazily down the street, stopping every now and then to glance over some items offered at the nearby stalls. Nothing in particular caught his eye and he had already filled himself up on sweets before the Festival had started; his only regret to that being that his father had to rush to make more for everyone. "There are suppose to be fireworks later, too.. Is there anything you would like to do while we wait, Terror? I am sure there are other game booths but the prizes are not as exciting as you might think; stuffed animals and things like that... or perhaps you would like to stop at one of the food stalls and get a proper meal?"




Stefan had allowed his thoughts to drift elsewhere and in a shockingly short amount of time, had managed to fall asleep right there on the street, leaning back against the post. The sounds of the others around him did not appear to stir the demon in the slightest; he took his unplanned naps just as seriously as his planned naps. It was not until two sets of eyes were examining him from a distance that he woke, lazily opening one eye only half way. Without immediately seeing anyone nearby that looked his way, he released a heavy sigh and opened both eyes fully to put forth the proper effort to seek whoever was watching him. Scanning the small crowd quickly he finally locked in on Savin and Faust, and despite the sour look on his face, he lifted a hand in a half-wave.



Farrow was not entirely sure how to respond to Bhinor and his red eyed narrowed while he watched the patchwork rat finish off the cotton candy. "..."Real" trouble will be cut down before it has a chance to become problematic," he finally grumbled out in short reply. He was not too keen on the idea of his companion being so easily distracted; he was fairly certain that if he were not here, Bhinor would be dead already. Death by paper lanterns. "If there is suitable food I am willing to taste it. Are you filling yourself on.. that stuff?" he gestured only to the dango seeing as how the cotton candy had already been finished. "Is that all there is to do here... eat? There is nothing else? Why are we here?" It was not as if he was not enjoying himself since there was at least a small part of him that probably was. Probably... a very tiny part.. maybe. Bhinor was oblivious at times and prattled on like a woman sometimes, but he was not horrible company; much better than some of the other options, he was certain of that. However he did not find himself particularly fond of the idea of doing nothing but eating. A feast was only best appreciated after a long and gruesome battle and... that paper lantern, while it had successfully ambushed his less-reflexive and battle-hardened companion, had been no match for him and put up very little fight. It was hardly satisfying to his bloodlust.

Roman almost sulkily followed Taki into the shop. he looked around a little bit, but saw nothing that really called to him. Cloths were just useful tools to ward off the elements as far as the wolf was concerned. He wouldn't say that aloud though, as he had no intention of ruining Taki's enjoyment. "Your sense of humor is evil Taki." He stated instead.



Aida nodded her head in slow agreement to Caius observation. "You know, something similar would look nice decorating the halls." She mused. Not to mention cheaper to replace then the spun glass that often broke. Aida slowed her steps when passing a window front. It wasn't so much that she was overly interested in the items, but the reflective surface allowed her to observe the others on the street without being so obvious. Plus it gave her a chance to admire the look of her and her God together. "I suspect the end of the street might lead us to the goddess this festival is for."

Bhinor looked about himself and found a small trash can for him to flip the cotton candy paper into. "You got some bad a** reflexes...and lines." He quipped back to Farrow. Bhinor was eying the last dango on his stick when he blinked at the question posed by his companion for the evening. "I'm not going to be filled up by this, trust me." He said as he bit the last dango off the stick and tore it off. Gulping it down he spun the stick around his fingers while pondering the pale man with him. "Well eating is good, and I heard there was a game earlier. But I missed it. Maybe we can find something amusing to do further down the street?" He asked/suggested to the other. Bhinor looked at the stick again then added. "Eh, and on the topic of food, I'm recovering from the war still. I have this thing where I eat a lot and kinda store the energy or something. I didn't have to stop to eat once during the war. But as a side effect I get ravenous after my first real meal. I eat till I'm not hungry anymore. " Bhinor looked up and down the streets, then eyed the hanging lanterns. "How about we come up with our own game? Like... we can try and figure out which person here would pose the biggest threat? That would be like a assessment exercise right?"

With Syn's hand placed within his own, Antarmur'ss gently closed his fingers over hers. He gently drew Synraehl up towards his side while causing his shadow gateway to close behind her. Antar's eyes drifted adoringly over his date for the evening. As lovely as always. "It is rather nice to get out and be seen." He commented lightly to her before gently pulling her towards the street. "Or rather it's nice to get out and show you off to all the little ones." He murmured teasingly.

Terror thinks for a moment on that. He had seen some of the surprises that others had been lucky enough to get in the fishing game and with the sweets stand. "This one does not think this one has met friend Kiatsu's mother. This one does not have the best memory at times though, so this one could be remembering wrong." He eyes the various stalls as well as Kiatsu walks, then blinks and tilts his head. "Fireworks? What are fireworks?" He asks, then looks over at the other game booths a bit longingly. All he'd really won from anything so far were tickets. Which he was sure would vanish once this festival was over with. A stuffed animal or three would be wonderful reminders of his time spent here. Although the idea of real food sounded good too. His headwing twitches the slightest bit before he speaks again. "This one will let friend Kiatsu decide what is done next."

"She must show herself." Aida asserted to Caius' comment. She reached a hand up to adjust the fall of some of her hair over her face so it did not obscure her vision any. To the comment of other gods appearing, Aida tilted her head somewhat as she murmured. "I believe there have. Look tot he far corner of the reflection on my side. I would say those two are far too large to be simple pockettu as myself." She stated with a faint grin. She could see the pair of Antarmur'ss and Synraehl within a side street making their way to the main throughfare. "I do not recognise them personally, perhaps with the presence of you three, it will assure no more undesierables join the festival." Aida both hoped and assumed at the same time. She shifted her left foot back in order to return to walking the street.



Roman waited patciently, like any good canine was capable of. When it was that Taki returned in her change of cloths, he blinked and looked her up and down. She looked different with the kimono on, and there was a strong urge within him to grip the hem and lift it. Just to make certain her legs were still there. Roman stifled the urge with a flick of his ear and gruffly remarked. "Foods good. I can do food. So long as it's not squids and fish eggs. This goddess seems a little weird."
