Zue's body hit the ground with a 'clank' as the rest of his body was frozen over. There was nothing the bat could do at this point, just wait and try to struggle free.

Free of the Ice Zue was able to move out of the way of the next ice attack. Fully mobile he moved to attack the mew. Fangs bared.

The crobat once more maneuvered out of the way of the ice beam attack. The more he attacked the more strength he drew from the Mew. Flipping around he dove once more attacking wit his teeth.

Zinnia had to admit that they were beaten; there was no way for Shadow to recover from the crobat's life-stealing bites. "Explosion," she said.
The mew raised her forepaws and released a huge blast of light and energy. She teleported back to Zinnia's side on the podium, completely exhausted.
This time, they were beaten, but Zin would be sure to train even harder to challenge the gym again.
