"Are you sure he won't just follow us, miss? O-or maybe he has friends that will help," Eziya questioned, trying to keep up her pace with the taller woman. She wanted to ask if she was okay and even check to see if she had been injured in any way, but the thought of stopping now was out of the question. They needed to go somewhere away from the bar before one of them decided to get up the energy to go after them. She wasn't very familiar with Oba other than where her and Serr had been around, so trying to find a good place to go was a bit difficult for her.

"Do you know a safe place? Maybe somewhere I can look you over and check your wounds?" She didn't look to bad off, but she was definitely still concerned after everything else that had happened today.

Omg has it really been that long? I know Shalvesta grew, so I don't want to inconvenience you and make you have to tag things that don't count! Eziya still technically needs it, but I can definitely find something else for her req if you'd rather stop. Either way works.

Nooo! As long as you can use the play, I'd like to continue ~!

It was a relief, for one long moment, stepping out of the tavern into the night air of Oba. While the sun beat down with ferocity during the day, at night the streets were cool, and only the lights from inside the taller buildings illuminated the streets. For many, this was intimidating, especially on streets that had a virile night life, but Shalvesta this was the sort of place she'd been living for the past while.

She was much more concerned with people following from the tavern, than any unseen forces outside. At first, she followed close on the girl's heels, but eventually she felt comfortable with matching her pace, walking beside her and only occasionally tossing a glance over her shoulder. For now, it seemed, no one was following. "What? No, I'm fine." Shalvesta answered, distracted, finally looking at the girl properly, lips drawn into an impatient frown. She didn't mean to be aggressive, but after running off she wasn't in the most pleasant of moods. "I don't think so - a mob is always dangerous, but I think he'll be happy just to have driven us out." She finally responded, honestly. Of course, Eziya's fears may come to pass, so she still looked behind them, warily, but so far it didn't look too likely.

She decided to guide the girl down a side street, instead, just to get out of view in case anyone came out looking for them. The street was populated with night time eateries, vendor stalls with glowing lights, shouting out their wares. There were people passing through, but it was nowhere near as crowded as the streets often were during the day.

"You've got to be careful, out here... some of these places aren't safe for ..." Foreigners? Women? People who seemed delicate, fragile even? Making a face ,Shal looked over the girl, trying to figure out why she would have wondered into a tavern in the first place.

Eziya stared at all the lights and people, honestly excited by every little thing she saw. It was a very different atmosphere, one she was sure couldn't be found anywhere else. Her time spent in Jauhar and Tale had not prepared her for the bustling life of Oban ways. This is what she had wanted to experience when she adventured out on her own. Not some scary drunk in a bar, but the every day people working and doing their own thing. She loved the sight of it all and wanted to do it herself one day. That was still a long time coming from now of course, but eventually she hoped it was possible.

"Thank you for all your help. I really do appreciate it. I swear I wasn't trying to get into so much trouble. It just really sort of happened. I guess it's what I get for wandering away from my normal company. I am glad to have met you in the process though! You seem like a very kind person."

The girl was, at least, relaxing somewhat from the previous altercation. As Eziya relaxed, Shalvesta did as well, propping a hand against the hilt of her blade where it was sheathed at her hip. For a moment, the girl simply took in the sights, her eyes almost literally lighting up, but then she turned her attention to Shalvesta, and the girl broke out into a surprised, but pleased smile. A bit constrained in near shyness, but she was happy despite herself. "Sometimes people just want to lash out, and find the easiest target." She responded, only to frown once the words left her mouth.

It probably wasn't the most flattering thing to say to someone, calling them an easy target... but Shalvesta wasn't wrong. The girl was so spellbound and seemingly gentle. "I... appreciate that. But what were you doing in such a shady place?" Shalvesta finally asked, unable to bridle her own curiosity.

"Oh! I uh.....well I was trying to explore some. Learn more about things around here. Usually I have my friend to help me, but I didn't want to bother him," she began to try and explain, slowly speaking as she sorted out her thoughts. "I didn't want to bother him so I tried to set out on my own for once. Guess that didn't really work out as planned."

She did feel bad getting into trouble on her first venture out by herself. While she usually had some sort of companion, she'd figured she would have been able to hand herself! She had definitely learned she was very wrong on that front at least.

"You seem so nice yourself, why were you there? " She was curious herself, and now that they were getting into more familiar territory she knew she could finally let the last bit of anxiety she had pent up settle down.

As much as Shalvesta wanted to scold the younger woman for going somewhere so dangerous, Eziya seemed to understand it enough already, so she kept her mouth closed, even as her expression remained skeptical. "The same as anyone else; drinking." She responded, airily, with a casual smile.

Back out in the middle of a bustling Oban street, Shalvesta felt confident that the girl could carry on her merry way without trouble. "And I'd best get back to it. Try not to wander into any other dangerous taverns, would you? At least not without your friend this time."

(this rp started June of 2015. are we finally ready to put this beast to bed? XD )

"Ah yes! Sorry to bother you so much and thank you for all your help! If you ever need any healing or help with anything feel free to find me. I'll be around," Eziya exclaimed, bowing to the taller woman.

"Really thank you so much again. I'd have been in a lot more trouble without you there." Eziya could thank her a million times over, but she wasn't sure if she'd ever be able to get across just how grateful she was to have had the woman's help. All she could really do was promise her to try not to get into too much trouble again. With a promise to not go back without Serr, she made her way back to the safety of the streets she had grown familiar with.

Scarlett Arbuckle
It may have taken us this long but gdi we were dedicated about finishing this. XD And actually this still counts towards Eziya's growth since I am the slowest. Haha though next time we rp if you're willing definitely no taking over a year omg.
