Now she seemed very aware of the fact that she was being looked at. Or rather, her clothing was. Kalliope had never seemed to mind that her choice in clothing was partially revealing. That was, until now. Shifting a bit under Zuberi's gaze she seemed to flush more when he mentioned dancing for him. However, she noticed the way he smiled and felt relief flood over her. "I really am sorry that I landed on you. I wasn't too heavy... was I?"

The baby kinfa gave a small wiggle then settled in to enjoy the attention. He gave only a small chirp to show he was content then closed his eyes and leaned into Zuberi's hand.

A sigh of relief came from her as he said that she was light. Not only did it mean she hadn't mushed him but it also meant she didn't need to fast to lose weight. "Well, that is true. Not being able to meet Lyier would have been a shame." Once more Kalli focused on the bird. She still found it odd that he was willing to let Zuberi pet him but refused to allow any of her siblings near.

"I was on my way to the market to get him some treats. He needs to learn to fly and I thought he might do better if he thought he could get spoiled." Kalliope giggled. The mention of flying had Lyier opening his eyes to look at his owner with somewhat of a glare. Clearly the little bird wasn't keen on the idea.

When Zuberi stood Kalli finally moved forward to collect the bird. Lyier went happily to her and when he was lifted to her shoulder he gave another happy chirp. "You don't have to-- Oh, okay.." Now Kalliope felt embarrassed. Zuberi must be teasing but she felt her face warm at the thought of needed someone to walk with her to make sure she didn't fall on someone else. She moved around the bench to stand beside him but it only made her face more red. She was a tiny thing standing next to him. Her head came to about his shoulder and she was petite enough that it looked like he could pick her up with one arm and just walk as though she were nothing.

She blinked. "Are you sure you aren't just really tall?" Kalli knew she was small for her age. When he offered his arm she took it though she did give a bit of a giggle. "Do you plan to be my bodyguard all the time then? Or just today?" Now it was her time to tease at him though she was slightly more obvious about it.

When Kalli was closer to Zuberi, Lyier moved from his owner's shoulder over to the male's. Once he was on a higher perch he seemed to give a shake and puff up before he chirped proudly and stuck out his chest. He was on top of the world now. Kalliope blinked when she saw her kinfa on Zuberi. "OH, Lyier, get down. He might not want you up there."

She nodded in agreement to his tallness. "Yes, you are tall." Kalli had to lean her head back just to look up at him. When Zuberi smirked at her she felt her breath catch in her throat. Why did he have to be attractive? Kalliope cleared her throat and looked away from him and at where they were headed. "Well I suppose if I'm going to remain out of people's laps then I might need one." Gently she raised her shoulders.

Hearing that he was good with a sword made her wonder slightly. "Do you think you could teach me how to use a weapon?" Granted she wouldn't be getting into fights since she was planning on being a dancer but it would be nice to have some weapon, like a dagger, to keep her safe. The of course she needed to know how to use the thing.

Lyier cooed and gave another wiggle of his puffed up body. "Oh don't encourage him. He'll think he has a right to be up there."

Lyier gave a chirp and leaned against Zuberi so that he could nuzzle the male. Though he made no attempt to spread his wings and fly as was suggested. Kalli shook her head at him.

"A dagger. I think other weapons would be too big." Besides, she only needed to know how to defend herself not how to full on attack someone. She smiled and looked at everyone that was passing by. After a moment she brought her gaze back to Zuberi. "I plan on leaving Oba as well. I'm not sure where to go yet though." She wanted to travel and dance at different locations. Or maybe even track down her friends. What was left of them, anyways. The red head was sure that one of them hated her now.

She was practically elated when Zuberi said he would teach her. Kalli couldn't help the grin that form. She went to answer him with a positive answer when she realized she didn't, in fact, own a dagger. "I-uh.. No, I don't." She looked apologetic as she said it but looked forward. "I can get one at the market though, right?" Kalliope failed to notice Zuberi's reaction to everyone else. She was too busy thinking and planning on how to get what she needed.

"Hm? Oh, I'm not too sure but I thought about possibly Zena. It's supposed to be really cold up there and I want to experience that." A giggle escaped her as she thought that he might find her reason fickle. "I eventually want to dance in all territories."
