Her distress sent a bolt straight to his heart. "I'm fine, I'm fine," he wiped a tear from her eye, "Nondwa are all wings and fluff anyway, I'm half sure it was just scared and behind me was the nearest exit. Really I am okay.' He leaned in and kissed her forhead. "Right as rain, it won't be the first time I get clobbered, believe you me, so you might as well get used to it. Although the next time I'm in a fight if you do this, I won't object at all." A part of him wanted to kiss her on the lips, they were so conviniently close, he was having trouble helping himself. Baby steps Isolder. He let his hands stroke her back again.

It would take a little more then a hysterical bug to get him. Unless of course it was a menzuri, then it would be a problem.

Isolder sighed happily, content to stay there for forever, he held her close, hoping he could give her some comfort. "Well, I will have to battle sometime, I want to be a berserker after all. But I'll be careful, I have to be." He had too much to protect to get to dilapidated. It felt so good to have her head on his shoulder like that, someone to protect, someone who trusted him. He laid his cheek on her hair and hummed a lullaby he remembered from his youth.

Her reaction was a little extreme for the circumstances but it showed she cared about him, even in so short a time. He looked up and saw the nondwa's watching. He wiggled his finger hoping one would come over and cheer her up.

Isolder smirked while she wasn't looking, had she figured it out yet? Maybe, maybe not. "Well, thank you." He smiled for real then. "Your Nondwa are still here, look." One of them had stayed in the area, it was perched on a tree, opening and closing pale green wings, somewhat less startlable then its fellows. Isolder sat up holding MIng so that she didn't fall on her butt, and he liked having her this close, she was very snuggly and he liked it. "Look." He pointed slowly at the giant bug. "She has much better manners." He chuckled. He hoped the creature would cheer her up.

"Here hold your hand out with mine and wiggle your fingers, she might get attracted to the movement if we are lucky, then you can sweet talk her into staying with you. The fact that she is here now is a good sign..I think. I don't know I haven't got a familiar yet but I hear a friendly attitude helps.

He watched her face amused and happy with the current circumstances. He could get used to being her personal cushion.

Isolder was sure the bug would not come if they were looking at it, yes that was why he did it, that was what he told himself when he couldn't stand it any longer and raised his head to brush his lips across her cheek so tantalizingly close to him. There he had done it, now he waited for her to blow up on him.

Meanwhile the Nondwa inched closer curious about the extremely odd creatures on the forest floor that had caused such a huff.

Not in his wildest dreams had he thought she would do that, she had thought maybe she would stare at him instead of yell but this was unprecidented. He thought about panicing but this was much too much fun to do anything like that. And she felt so good, with the most beautiful blue eyes he had ever seen. Different, and beautiful. "Ming." he ground out between their kiss. He felt like he had been electrocuted.

He almost didn't feel the gently brush beneath their hands, didn't want to look, but there the nondwa was wondering what they were doing splayed on the ground. He grasped her hand and placed it on the Nondwa while he retracted his super slowly to wrap it around her in a hug, half of him still focused on the druglike effects of his first real kiss.

Isolder snorted quietly, "No thank you," he grinned and peered slowly over at their observer, "I hope your nondwa's stays, I wonder what we eat, I bet if you feed it, it might stay, what do you think?"

He was thinking he had never felt anything as soft and wonderful as her lips but well, the insect was watching them curiously. Isolder blinked at it, happy it made Ming happy but unhappy that it was staring at them. He wasn't used to them it was probably just an innocent bug. He reached out and petted it too, "They are so soft, I didn't realize that." Soft downy fuzz, softer then any other familiar that he had touched. It nuzzled their hands. "Well I guess shes not so scary..not scary at all. Much nicer then her other friend."
