As Anya began asking questions, Lumikani was already moving toward the door, or what was left of it. The door itself was a bit bent in and would require an adult to bend to get through. Thankfully, both of the sisters were small and able to move without touching or catching anything, which would help. Lumi didn't want to say it, but it would help so they didn't bump and break anything, causing the building to collapse.
Anya would never go inside if she said that.
"Just don't bump into anything and we will be fine...it has lasted this long."
Looking inside, she nodded noting it was clear of any creatures, and shifted to her side to shimmy her way in. Hopefully Anya would just follow.

Anya hopped from one foot to the other when Lumi entered; wasn't she aware of the danger?! She sighed and entered behind her triplet; she was not going to chicken out of this one! The sight of the mess beyond make her want to flee though.. or clean the entire filthy place! Dirt and leaves littered the room, gathering in piles about the walls.
"Not gonna touch anything here." She muttered as she eyed the wood. Wood was supposed to be a dark brown or tan...not grey with dust or dirt! "Needs to be cleaned...."
She kept close to Lumi, her arms wrapped about herself to keep from touching the dirty surfaces about them. There wasn't any blood stains or bones to be seen yet; always a good thing! Meant there wasn't anything dangerous...
"You sure there'll be treasure here? I would think that its been looted out..."

Lumikani let out a bright laugh at her sister's comment, amused that Anya still could be so much like herself. As she moved fully into the building, she felt her hand brush through some webs and dust. It caused a bit of a disturbance, and she couldn't help but sneeze. It was a bit dirty...
As she finally got a good look at the building, she was happy to see that there was a layer of dust over everything. That meant no one had been here. It appeared to be an old hut where someone once lived, but it wasn't clear who or what lived here. There might have been a bed and a storage unit. Either way, a branch wound around the place and caused her to duck as she went to the other side.
"Might have to do some digging...I think this is a bed. Beds are always good for hiding treasure!"
As she finished that, she plopped down to her hands and knees and peered underneath the bed, looking into the darkness.

She looked at the web that Lumi just brushed through.. how did her sisters not get creeped out by webs? The thought of touching them was enough to make her want to puke! She careful stepped to avoid it and others, contorting her body to pass by them without moving her folded arms. Nope nope and nope. No webs for her!
"Eww! No don't touch that! That's where the bugs will be." She said in exasperation as Lumi, of course, went to the one place where there was almost a guaranteed of bugs or animals.
She did not help; touching that bed was too much for her. rodents would make nests in that, bugs would hide and there could be eggs in there.. parasites... nasty things that bite.. Ew! No!
She shuddered when Lumi went underneath it. How could she? Just... ugh!
"Lumi.. you are getting bathed when we get back.. or I'll push you into the river first.. then you can take a bath.. Ew... all that dirt.. dust.. webs... bugs." She looked around, trying not to think about what Lumi was doing. Her eyes roamed over the shelves; nothing but ruined pots.. a few rocks that she wasn't touching and old dried herbs that were so dry they looked as if they'd disintegrate at any moment.

She ignored her sister's whining, letting Anya get it out of her system as she focused on the bed. She thought there was something under there, so she reached her hand out and put a little prayer to Aisha that it wasn't an animal. Instead, her hand touched what felt like paper, and she grabbed it before pulling herself back out.
Her face and hair was dusty and she looked at her prize in her hand, her eyes narrowed. Lumikani let out a huff, dust flying out as she looked at the scroll. Of course it would be something like a scroll.
"Here, your treasure...go ahead and open it...it looks old and interesting?"

She looked at the grimy hand holding the dirty scroll. "You want me to.. touch that?" She wanted to know what it said, what was inside it. But it was so dirty! And what if it was so old she couldn't read it? Or cleaning it would destroy it... was it worth it.. but... it might be a story... might be a recipe.. a letter... something interesting.
She reached out slowly, her face twisted in disgust to pick it up between two fingers, wanting to minimize the contact with it. Maybe my friend will know how to clean it so I can actually touch it, she thought with a shudder.
"Let's go... outside so I can see it better." And put it on the ground and use a stick to unroll it, she thought to herself as she held it at arms reach. This was probably the wrong way to treat such a old scroll.. but she couldn't bring herself to treat it more reverently or put it in her bag. She'd have to burn her bag if she did that!

Lumikani held her tongue and shook her head at her sister's attitude - didn't she have any interest in the new and interesting? So what if it was dirty - it was old and rare and something. She bit her tongue and waited for Anya to take the scroll, letting out a loud sigh when it was finally out of her hands.
"Was that so hard, Anya?" She teased as she moved to stand, brushing her hands off on her legs.
She nodded and looked around once last time, hopeful she might see a weapon or something she could take home as a prize. Unfortunately, it seemed as if the scroll was the only thing of interest, lucky Anya.
At least it would make the trip and mess worth while for her sister.
"Right, let's go read and see what it is...maybe it's a map?" As she said that, she led the way and squeezed her way outside once more, waiting in the sunlight for Anya to make it as well.

Elyessi Think we can get 20 posts each here by friday so I can submit her for growth? Anya rolled her eyes; of course Lumi wouldn't understand just how grossed out she was! "Yes it is." She quickly followed her sister out, wanting to be out of the creepy filthy place. At least there were no ghosts, she thought to herself as she exited. Taking a deep breath of the clean air she relaxed slightly as she set the scroll on the ground and went to grab some sticks to use to open it. "I don't know what it is yet, Lumi." She sighed dramatically. "I haven't opened it yet." She crouched down and nudged open the loose know that kept the scroll rolled up.

Lumikani spun around and shifted on her heels as she waited for Anya to open the scroll, eyeing her sister with growing frustration as she got a stick and nudged the thing. It didn't feel like it was going to rip, so why all the precaution.
Letting out a great sigh, she rushed over to knee across from her sister with hooded, bored eyes.
"It's not that dirty...here...let me open it for you!" She said, growing impatient and reaching down to make a grab for the old scroll.

Anya sniffed at heir impatient sister. "It is too dirty! But fine.. just open it carefully if you insist."
To be fair, she was taking her time and was honestly not that upset at the interference. Meant that the thing would be opened and she didn't have to touch it!
She peeked over and looked at the faded markings. "Looks like a... map of some sort?" She was a bit disappointed; map meant more walking! A story or scroll or ancient knowledge would have been more to her preference.

Dirty? It hardly had any dust, and it wasn't grimy or covered with slime. It seemed just fine to her, and she shrugged and grabbed the scroll without a second thought.
As she moved to grab the scroll, she held it in one hand and worked off the stopper with the other. It felt a little tender, but nothing was too weak. As she unrolled it, she laid it back on the ground and brushed her fingers on the edges so it wouldn't roll up again.
"A map!" her hands flew up, and the scroll rolled back in on itself, "Do you know what this means? Treasure! Yes, this wasn't a waste afterall!"
She stood again and rubbed her hands, waiting for Anya to get up as well.

Anya sighed and shook herhead; "How do you know it's treasure Lumi? It's just a map!"
She poked the scroll back open with her sticks so she could look at it again. "Where is it even supposed to be? I'm not sure I recognize any place on here..." Which made sense since she hadn't gone very far out of the town's boundaries! But maybe Lumi who wandered all over the place would know?
"Maybe it's just a map to a grannies house or something." She didn't want Lumi to get stuck on the idea of treasure; it could be for anything! A way to find a good hunting spot, a special place with nice scenery, maybe a lovers map to where they'd met up....

"You read those stories, Anya, what do maps usually lead to?" she questioned her sister right back, hands on her hips as she looked down at the scroll once more. She let her sister think over the map and sighed loudly at her conclusion.
'Why would they hide a map to a granny house under the bed? "
She was starting to get frustrated by her sister's effort to logically determine the map was worthless. Why was she looking at it and not following it?
Huffing, she went down to her knees again, narrowed her eyes at the map, and pointed to a spot.
'I think we are here...so all we need to do is follow the map to wherever it leads! "

"Traps? Ruins? Dangerous places? Or just a guide to a meeting place or next own over? Maybe it's a map that led to a lover's meeting pace? Lots of reasons to hide that one! And not all the maps in my stories lead to treasure." She let the scroll roll up again and nudged it to Lumi. "Since you seem to know where we are, carry that and I'll follow."
She stood with a sigh; guess this adventure was not yet over! And hopefully didn't get them lost! "Let's go till mid afternoon and then head home, that way we have enough time to head back and not have to walk in the dark."

She held her tongue, resisting the urge to tell her sister that the stories she read sounded really dumb. Instead, she just let out another huff before picking up the map and holding it in front of her.
She debated for a long moment if she should take to the trees to better see the land, but she caught sight of what appeared to be a marker, and began to march.
"Hopefully we can make it before the afternoon is over...it doesn't look too far..." her tongue stuck out as she thoughtfully glanced from the map to the land to the map again.
